This is a exceptional property for a family gathering. Well designed to accommodate a dozen people. We've stayed in multiple "five star" VRBO houses and this was the best stocked in terms of kitchen items, first rate linens, exceptional electronics (READ: biggest HD TV screen ever -- great for the Olympics and movies!) and a very responsive host. Quechee is a great "home base" to see the sights of central VT and NH; lots to see and do.

Beautifully appointed home in a country-like setting. Wonderfully provisioned, the house instantly felt like home and the perfect place to celebrate our son’s medical school graduation. Rachel and Ken were great hosts, very responsive. Loved the large kitchen, eating areas and big windows looking out at the woods. Thanks for a fabulous stay!

We rented this home for two weeks for a family ski vacation. The minute we walked in we were impressed with the house and were instantly comfortable with our decision. We felt right at home immediately and for our entire time there. The description and pictures of the rooms and amenities is completely accurate and, in many ways, the property exceeded our expectations. The home is large, bright, modern and private. We were impressed with how well stocked the home was, not only in terms of kitchen appliances, cookware, dishes etc., but also the little things such as, toilet paper, towels, soap, shampoo, coffee filters and alike. The owners allowing the use of the two car garage was a plus. The hot tub is large and in excellent condition and the gas fireplace in the large living room was cozy and warm. With three levels of living space and large rooms including a very functional and unique bedroom layout it was amazingly comfortable. The owners were easy to communicate with and were always responsive, right from the start and all the way through. Plenty of informatiom was provided upfront and lots more at the home upon check in. If you are looking to rent a top notch home in a great location this comes highly recommended by me and, as you can see, by many other reviewers.

Lots of personal space and large living room/kitchen area to congregate. The kitchen is truly well-equipped. And the location is between Woodstock and White River Junction - great cross-country skiing and children's museum and farm for little ones. Only drawback was the heat. Difficult to heat a couple of bathrooms and the master bedroom suite. All and all, it met our expectations and more.

The home was amazing, clean, well stocked and beautiful! Plenty of great amenities to keep us entertained and comfortable. Perfect spot for a ski trip stay. The host was pleasant and easy to deal. Would stay here again and again!

This lovely big but cozy home made our delayed family Christmas weekend very comfortable; offering spaces to retreat, engage, play, enjoy the wintery outdoors, gather for family prepared meals. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Had an issue with hot tub that owner responded to quickly and appropriately.
Family agreed the house was the perfect gathering place for our needs.

We loved our stay. This was my first time staying in a VRBO or airB&B that literally had everything that I needed or wanted. We spent 5 days just before Christmas with family ages 6-85. The house was perfect for us. There was a bedroom on the first floor that was easy for some of the older family members to access. My kids loved the hot tub and my son couldn’t get enough of the nba jam arcade game, the pool table, and the chess set. The kitchen had literally everything we needed for making meals and even everything week needed for making gingerbread cookies and gingerbread houses. The location is fabulous and the house had a great living and dining area where we could all be together but e floors that also allowed us our space. It was clean and Rachel and Ken were appropriately accessible hosts who were accommodating and always quick with communication. I would highly recommend a stay for any large family!

This property was amazing! We rented it for our family to enjoy Thanksgiving together and it did not disappoint! There was so much room for our family to spread out. The house and hot tub were both so clean and well maintained! The location to Quechee is perfect and only a short drive to Woodstock. Rachel and Ken were great and very responsive! We definitely would stay here again!

There were 9 of us, 6 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of beds for all of us. The house is huge and we did not feel like we were stepping over each other. There was lots of space for those who wanted to sit in quiet and read. I loved our shower, there was good water pressure and plenty of hot water in the house. There were games to play and plenty go keep the kids busy. I LOVED that the owner took the time to mark each light switch - that was so helpful. We found pretty much everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking and some good restaurants near by for when we didn't feel like cooking. The market down the road had a really good choice of foods (a bit pricey) but that's the nature of the location. If you don't mind driving further, you can get to the bigger market where the prices may be a bit cheaper. The surrounding yard was beautiful.!! There is a nice back yard for the kids to run around and play and they did.!! We didn't get to use the spa, we just didn't have the time. I would definitely stay here again...

Beautiful house that is bigger and more impressive than the pictures and description! Great for our large group of friends to spread out and enjoy the weekend away together! Very responsive host who made sure every question was answered quickly.

Perfect house for us. Lots of room and amenities. Fun area for family. We played pool, NBA Jam, and chess at the house and soaked in the enormous hot tub. Did lots of great hiking as well as swimming and fishing in the area. On a rainy day, the kids loved the Montshire Museum of Science. The hosts were accessible, warm and very helpful.

We had such a nice stay in this beautiful home! All of the amenities were great for our large group. The location to the nearby town and market was perfect and we loved having Quechee Ski right down the road. We can’t wait to come back!

This home is the perfect place for a family getaway, especially with kids of all ages.
You will find everything you need for your family with every detail taken care of - plates and utensils for kids and adults, pack n' plays and removable rails for twin beds, books and games, grilling and kitchen supplies - every detail has been carefully considered. We arrived to over a foot of snow on the ground, but a well plowed driveway and shoveled walkways made access easy - and a snowman and sledding path in the backyard was a hit for the kids. (Nothing beats supervising backyard snow activities from the hot tub!)
Each bedroom provides ample space to unpack, spread out, and sleep deeply. Bedrooms are quiet, with extra fans, pillows, and blankets for any type of sleeper.
Finally, we loved the proximity to many of Vermont's best winter offerings. The Quechee community is an amazing amenity, but Saskadena Six and Sugarbush Farm were perfect recommendations from the hosts.
Thank you for an amazing weekend. We hope to be back (although we expect it to be quickly booked up as this is just a gem)!

We had a wonderful time staying at Rachel and Ken's house! It was clean, well-maintained and well-stocked, including a very thoughtful welcome gift. Our kids (4 and 6) had a great time playing with the many games, toys and puzzles they have at the house, and the adults enjoyed the hot tub (plus all the games too!). We felt very comfortable, slept very well, and really appreciated the location within Quechee -- easy access to everything nearby.

Clean and well-appointed property with enough bathrooms for everyone to get wedding ready w/o the challenge of sharing space. Some of us snowshoed in the wooded property and others went skiing at the Quechee club (small but great for a couple of hours of outdoor fun)

This house was perfect for our group of 7 college friends that do a ski trip once a year. The house is huge, super clean, and has great amenities. We would definitely stay here again! 10/10.

Had a wonderful time - we’ve stayed in a lot of VRBO house and this was the best appointed one yet. Well stocked and furnished for a perfect vacation!

The house was big with a very well stocked kitchen with all the appliances you would need. The Welcome Bag was very thoughtful. There were toys and cups for kids, so would have been a great house for a family (we were not).

Spent a long weekend at this relaxing retreat in the woods. We brought the whole family including adult children and our granddaughters. There was so much space for us to spread out and we enjoyed many of the local activities and all the amenities of the house including a game room and the outdoor hot tub. Because we were a large group we ended up eating most meals at home. The kitchen was large enough to allow several cooks in the room together. The beds were comfortable which is often a concern when traveling. And the surrounding area was quiet- allowing for a relaxing family getaway.

The house was beautiful, clean, and well-equipped. Floor to ceiling windows, close to Woodstock… what more could you ask for? The host was extremely kind and accommodating, even providing a welcome bag with some goodies. We enjoyed the pool table, the deck, and the screened in patio. Overall, it was a great stay and I would highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful weekend at Rachel and Ken's home in Vermont. This was our second year in a row renting from Rachel and Ken. The house could not be more perfect for a group. It's stocked with everything you need to cook, sleep comfortably, etc. Our kids loved playing with the toys and games at the house. And you can't beat the location. We had a blast!

Thank you for such a wonderful place to stay and to celebrate my milestone birthday with my best friends. It was a wonderful spot to meet up with friends from all over. We enjoyed cooking in your kitchen and sitting around the dining room table and laughing. The hot tub was a therapeutic oasis after long days of hiking Weathersfield Trail up Mount Ascutney and shopping in Woodstock. The house is also just up the hill from Quechee where we ate the most delicious meal at Simon Pearce. Also, stopping by the The Farmer and the Bell donut shop for the best donuts we’ve ever had! We have decided we need to come back in both the summer and winter because we didn’t explore all that the area had to offer. Thanks so much! Carey

Our family of 7 adults and two one-year olds stayed at Rachel and Ken’s lovely property. Conveniently located near Woodstock and Quechee, we were able to venture out then make it back for naps before heading out again. Rooms were very comfortable, lots of room to spread out and hot tub was well welcomed. Kitchen was stocked with all utensils needed. Games galore from which to choose. Watching shooting stars from back deck was very enjoyable. We will be back! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

My brother and our two families wanted to get away to the Woodstock area for a few days, together we were four adults and 5 children with an infant. The house proved to be a wonderful gathering place for us; easily consuming our party with multiple en-suite bedrooms, a very large living area / kitchen and plenty of towels and the sorts of things that matter when you’re with a large group. The home’s layout was also perfect for us with three full bedrooms / bathrooms upstairs and a suite of bedrooms in the basement for the kids. The kiddos really enjoyed the arcade style video game in the basement in the evenings and the house was convenient to all the weekend activities during the day. I Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area. Clean, quiet and convenient.

We rented this home in Quechee for a family reunion in August. It was, in a word, spectacular! The home itself was beautifully set up and actually even more spacious than we had thought when we booked. We had 5 adults and 4 children of various ages and never felt like we were on top of each other. We could have stayed at the house all week without leaving and had a wonderful time. However, we also utilized the access to quechee club for the pool and gym and lake which was also amazing. Locally, we experienced the wonderful things to do and places to eat in Quechee, Woodstock, and Hanover. We can’t wait to get back up there!!

The house was great for 6 adults and 4 kids. We took full advantage of the access to the Quechee Club. Pool was beautiful and the golf was amazing. We’ll be back!
