It was dirty everywhere, but mostly in the kitchen.

Owner was friendly and made some suggestions regarding walks in the area and birdlife that flew in each day. It was nice to see the array of birds landing on the porch railing. The property backed onto some bush (not tropical rainforest) and was quiet.
The property was misrepresented, with the description referring to "units" which were actually the bedrooms. The word "unit" implied a sense of privacy and self-containment which was far from the truth. It should have read that occupants would be sharing a small house with an older gentleman. Although the place was tidy, it was filthy and in need of a deep clean - I was given a dirty towel and the pillow slip on my side of the bed smelt of someone's head (clearly not changed). Pillows were old and yellow and needing replacement. Mattress was old, spongy and also needing replacement. When I pointed out the dirty towel, owner provided new linen. All towels etc need a good bleach if not replacement. The kitchen utensils were unclean/greasy and benchtop was filthy. Bathroom had hair on the floor, grubby around bedroom door handle, smeared glass wardrobe doors, dusty on side tables and the list goes on. We had read the reviews which were all positive, however went back to early 2023 and there were several reviews about the lack of cleanliness. I'm surprised this accommodation is on booking.com as I don't believe it meets the standard on any level required.

Lovely welcoming home stay environment with cute bird visitors on the patio. The bed was so comfortable and owner was a very nice man who kept to himself but made you feel welcome in his home. Easy to drive to the tourist spots and there is a bus stop close by if you don’t drive.
You are in someone’s home so don’t expect clinical level cleanliness.

George who lives in the house was so sweet. He made us feel right at home, able to use the laundry for free, the kitchen was kitted out with everything you need. It felt like a home away from home. The balcony is gorgeous with a stunning view of the trees with birds everywhere. A little out from the town, but the bus is a 3 min walk and drops you right into the centre with all the shops and bars so it's very easy to get around! Bathroom was clean, beds super comfy!
We just rented one double room, there's another room next door which another couple rented so we shared a bathroom & shower room! All very easy and great value for money

+ Kookaburras sit on the veranda
+ bus stop next to the house
+ Robyn is a very friendly host
- cleanliness: dirty fridge; toenails and hair from previous tenants on the floor (!); dirty cupboards in the kitchen; disgusting bathroom cleanliness
- stuff of the owner in the drawers and in the walk-in closet of my room made me feel as if I intruded a room of someone who could be back inside every minute

Close to Noosa golf course.
It had a bath.

The location was perfect for what we wanted. It was the first time we have stayed at a private residence (as opposed to a hotel etc). Our host was a lovely gentleman who showed us around and then kept to himself while we went about our business. The rooms were clean and comfortable. All linen and bathroom towels were provided.
The bathroom soaps, shampoos etc were a little light on (but we are nitpicking now)

Host is a kind accommodating gentleman
Unfortunately the house, even in the dry winter months, is so humid that there is fungi growing above the shower, in the room and even the living room ceiling. I spend the whole stay with allergy like symptoms and although general hygiene is fine I would recommend the owner to hire a specialist as I deem the state of the house a health hazard and black fungus is not a great advertisement. I also found the bed to be full of sand which made me think the sheets weren’t being washed but he did took them off as we left so I’m not sure what led to such a filthy bed. The humidity was so high that all our clothes where wet to the touch after two days laying in the room. As this was our first stay in the country I did not consult the host directly as we weren’t sure on the standart of stays in this country but now after a few weeks I unfortunately do not understand the high rating

I had to leave early in the morning and did not have breakfast
Initial contact which was not with the owner

Sitting on verandah linking into bushland with a glass of wine
Room dusty and floors not swept.
Kitchen counter tops dusty and floor and tops had food on them. Kitchen tea towels absolutely filthy and also no toilet paper in the toilet Sunday am.
He needs to improve his cleaning and also have his linen smell as if washed with soap powder and pictures on wall in room needs to be upgraded.

Quite surrounding, bed was soft but comfortable, shared bathroom was available most of the time and the kitchen had everything we needed, it's great for a short or extended stay.

The owner Robyn was lovely, making sure that I found the place easily and ensuring that entry would be easy as arriving after dark.

Property was fantastic . Owner was friendly . There are two bedrooms that had a share bathroom that was spacious and very clean and it did have a separate toilet . There was a wonderful Veranda where the kookaburras came to have a feed. Modern kitchen. Great value.

The owner quickly dealt with an issue with the toilet door.
The levels of dust in the place were wholly unacceptable. There were thick layers of dust on both the blinds and the TVs. There were also hairs around the toilet. I didn't read the previous reviews, which allude to similar problems, and I note many have since been deleted and the owner's response is all that remains.
We also couldn't use the blankets provided as this had multiple hairs in them. The bedding also had stains on them.
We couldn't find anywhere else as by the time we arrived it was 8pm on 1 January so nowhere else was available. We did however consider driving back to Brisbane, but as we were carrying on to Fraser Island, we opted against doing so.
The property description should also be clear in that these are 2 bedrooms in one house. While the rooms are on one side, and the owner's room is on another, that is the end of the segregation. The rooms are adjacent to the kitchen and living room, which the owner uses. Note though that the owner allows people to use these areas. The fact that it is rooms in a house is only found out by reading multiple reviews, as it is not in the description in the property. The two rooms do, however, have one shared separate toilet and bathroom. Unfortunately, we were also awoken at 7am by the owner watching TV in the living room, who also watched it loudly until 9pm in the evening before.
The door to the toilet also broke in the morning. But the owner quickly repaired this.

The fact that I had a bed to sleep in after working late.
The accommodation was nice enough just not what I was expecting. The owner was nice but a little unprofessional. The fire alarm in my room was faulty and went off at 3am. I'd only finished work at 1am therefore having little to no sleep and had to fix the issue myself. On arrival there was no mention of coffee, refreshments or breakfast on the following morning.
