About this house rental
ElkPoint Unit 4 is a Beautiful 3 story Townhome located on the slopes right across from the main mountain village. ( We are 400 ft from the Purgatory Lodge Pool/Hot tub) Ski-in, Ski-out.. with The Most Beautiful Views. We are the end unit next to the Graduate Lift. Our townhome has a heated garage and is the only property with an extra long driveway. We can accommodate 3 vehicles.
Our townhouse has quality furnishings. We have a full sized washer and dryer and Weber Gas grill on the deck.
As you enter the home on the bottom floor, you will find a bedroom with Queen over Queen Bunks and a twin(memory foam) rollaway . The room has a very comfortable couch and chair, a TV, games and puzzles for the kids and a private bath. This room has a door to the exterior patio with great ski-in, ski-out access.
On the 2nd floor you will find the open living area and fully stocked kitchen with large floor to ceiling windows offering a beautiful view of the Needles Mountains. Outside is the balcony with a Weber gas grill. The 1/2 bath and laundry with washer and dryer are also on this level. The 2nd floor also includes the main master bedroom with King bed and dresser and night stands. This room has a fireplace, private balcony and private bathroom with soaker jacuzzi tub and shower.
On the 3rd floor, you will find 2 more bedrooms with King beds and 2 more full bathrooms. There is an additional twin rollaway tucked in one of the closets. The loft area is also on the level and includes Full-sized Murphy bed and love-seat to sit and view the beautiful mountains.
Guests will have access to use the heated pool, hot tub, and work out center at the main Purgatory Lodge included with the club fee. Kids 12 and under Ski free!!!

We had three families, 8 kids total and we had a blast. Location to lifts was amazing! We enjoyed all aspects of our stay. Our only complaint was the downstairs bedroom was hot to sleep in. But we will come back again! It was an amazing house and experience.

We had our group of nine in for four days of skiing after Christmas. The place is just perfect. Julie was great to work with all of our questions in advance and made it easy. As a frequent traveler, I’m a bit picky about beds, and the, beds and mattresses were higher end and extremely comfortable. Views are terrific ski and ski out access is so easy. We hope to book this place again soon. A+++.

Our stay was absolutely amazing, and we enjoyed every single minute of our first annual cousins trip. This condo was in the perfect place for us to do everything that we wanted. We will definitely be back.

Overall very good. Only issues was a little hot due to extreme hot weather during our stay. Other issues the living area is a little bit smaller than anticipated.

This property exceeded our expectations in every way. We knew the location was going to be phenomenal, we just didn't realize how easy it was to get everywhere on the mountain! We were able to walk over to the Mountain Club, the Alpine Slide, the ice cream and pizza store, the chair lifts and the pool within just a few minutes! The sleeping arrangements set up in the home worked perfectly for our family - we loved having an entire room downstairs with queen bunk beds, private bath & living area - this worked great for the family with little ones! The primary bedroom is on the same floor as the kitchen and living room and worked great for us early risers to get up, start the coffee and enjoy the cool mountain breezes! The closet in this room (as well as the storage throughout the entire home) was fabulous! The 2 bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs also worked great for another family with 2 kiddos. The adults had the upstairs secondary master while the kids shared a room and had their own bath. There is also a half bath on the main floor. The kitchen supplies were great - just about everything you needed - from spices, oil, syrup, to coffee filters, coffee, even pods for the Keurig. I know that can vary and we left some items to share as well. We noticed lots of extra fold up beds in storage areas if you needed extra sleeping spaces. The garage was another big plus - it held our full size SUV. The owner was fabulous to work with and answered our questions quickly!

This condo was perfect for our family! Everyone had their own space, the location on the slopes was easy for everyone of all abilities to ski in/out. Julie was easy to communicate with. We'd rent again :)

This location is awesome! The Townhouse is beautiful! We love spring time skiing at Purgatory! Julie the host responded to my many questions promptly and was extremely helpful! We have been coming to Purgatory for over 10 years.

The townhouse was perfect for our family of 12 inclusive of 7 adults and 5 grandkids ages 12 and under. The home is more than advertised. The location is a perfect ski in/out. I had forgotten what a great premium that can be and a virtual must with young kids.
Julie is an exceptional host. She never tired of answering questions prior to and during the stay.
We intend to borrow her townhome next season and beyond.

We enjoyed our stay so much! Adults and teens were comfortable in the spacious rooms/bathrooms. Plenty of seating for meals and kitchen was stocked with pans/utensils to prepare meals. We loved the gas fireplaces! It was fun to watch those riding the lifts literally outside the patio. The location was amazing, a short walk to restaurants and picking up rentals and ski right onto a run right out the back patio.

The house is just as described. We had zero issues getting in. The upstairs thermostat seems stuck in the on position so it got toasty at night. But overall we loved it. It is so convenient, and we look forward to coming back. We got a good 48 inches of snow so that was a big plus😁. I Highly recommend this property

We plan a family ski trip every year. This property and resort was by far the best we have ever been to. BEST VIEWS, owner is amazing, property is so clean, located perfectly....Our family is in LOVE! Saying goodbye was so hard!

We loved this place! It had everything we needed and then some. It was very clean the location was unbeatable. The adults could help gear up the kids and then send them out to the bunny hill while they waited for us to gear up. Would absolutely stay again!

Another fantastic trip to Purg
We've been making annual trips to Purg for over a decade, and this visit was another one for the records. We've stayed at many of the Elk Point condos over the years and all are great for larger groups do to size and location, and unit 4 was no exception. The property was perfect for our group of 12 (6 adults/6kids - 3 families). There were plenty of beds and linens for all and when we arrived everything was exceptionally clean and tidy. The kitchen is well appointed and we didn't want or need for anything for meals. The large downstairs mudroom is great for getting geared up for a long day of skiing followed by a VERY short stroll over to the 6 pack (lift 1). I can't emphasize enough how convenient this location is to the slopes. Also, since we had 3 families in our group, it was nice to be able to park 3 vehicles at the unit instead of remote parking one car down at the bottom parking lot of the resort. Most Elk Point condos only allow for 2 cars at the unit. Lastly, I can't say enough about how great the communication was. Julie was always prompt to answer our questions and provide information. Using the VRBO communication portal was a snap and we never worried about getting a reply in a timely fashion. We will definitely book again next year. Can't wait!!!

This unit was very nice and conveniently located. The unit was well stocked although it could have used some more towels. The extra foldout beds and blankets was a bonus. You can't beat the locations. Me and my family loved it.

It was a wonderful stay for our Family. The place was beautiful, clean and spacious. The resort it was in was also great! And the fact that it was in the Mountains and close to places like Durango, Silverton, Ouray, etc. made for a fun time!
