About this villa rental
**Minimum Night Stay Requirements May Vary and Final Availability is Subject to Homeowner Approval**
Shooting Star Cabin 11 is the perfect basecamp for a large family or group of friends looking to adventure around Jackson Hole. In the Cabins at Shooting Star West, near the base of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and the southwest entrance to Grand Teton National Park, Cabin 11 makes it easy for your day to include hiking, skiing, mountain and road biking, Nordic skiing, whitewater and scenic rafting on the Snake River, snowshoeing, soaking in hot springs, and wildlife watching. And then you get to return home and relax in front of a fire in the great room, soak in the hot tub, have drinks on the patio next to one of the many private creeks that wind through Shooting Star, curl up on a couch and read or watch a movie, or prepare a meal in the professional-grade kitchen.
Designed by Paul Bertelli of the noted Rocky Mountain design firm JLF & Associates, Cabin 11’s smart layout of three separate-but-connected pavilions allows it to feel intimate, yet also host gatherings of your whole group. (The 4,063-square-foot home sleeps up to 12 people in 4 suites; additionally, there is a day bed.) The airy main living area—a combined kitchen, dining area, and great room—sits on the main level of the central pavilion. Here windows frame ski runs at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and the major peaks of the southern Tetons. French doors on either side of this space lead to separate outdoor living spaces: a lawn on the north side of the home and a south-facing patio with a hot tub, grill, and seating area.
To maximize the privacy of the master suite, it gets its own pavilion. On the southern end of the home, the master suite is separated from the main pavilion by a glass hallway and includes a sleeping area with a natural gas fireplace, a walk-in closet, and a large bathroom with a deep soaking tub, double vanity, and oversize walk-in shower. Within the master bath, the WC is separate from the vanity/bathing area. Additional privacy comes from the fact the master suite is the only bedroom on the main floor.
Upstairs are three suites offering a range of sleeping situations: one suite features a king-size bed, the second has two twin-size beds, and the third has a king and two twins along with a wet bar. These three suites share a sunny office/library on the landing at the top of the stairs. All of Cabin 11’s bedroom suites have a flat-screen TV.
Additional spaces on the main level—all at the opposite end of the home from the master suite—are a media/TV room, the laundry room, a mud room with built-in cabinetry, and a two-car garage.
All of Cabin 11’s spaces feature a soothing color palette and reclaimed materials. The home’s art collection includes many pieces that are contemporary takes on wildlife and the west. (Although maybe you’ll be most drawn to artist Jo Mora’s 1933 classic Western work, “Sweetheart of the Rodeo,” which hangs in the hallway between the front entry and the main living space.)

Perfect house for a holiday getaway and so much room for both families of 4 to stretch out and find space to relax. The kitchen was just incredible and able to accommodate a lot of our cooking projects all at once. The kids loved seeing the wildlife passing through in the snow and the views from the property are breathtaking. The property managers were also fantastic; sooo helpful and super accommodating. They really helped to make this holiday trip a special one. We will definitely book again on our next visit.

Turn key. Upscale accommodations well furnished and impeccably decorated. Very comfortable Great location. Stephanie, the head concierge was very helpful arranging dinner reservations and recommending third party excursions for our group. I definitely recommend this experience for anyone looking for a truly luxurious and worry free visit to the Jackson hole area.
