Lovely views, good facilities and a good size for a family.

Set in a beautiful location. View were breathtaking. Carol and Chris was a lovely host. When leaving we had a car problem Carol and Chris was very helpful, and kind. We got home safely.
Thank you both very much.

Faultless nothing to dislike about our stay

We loved how spacious, clean and tidy the lodge was,
as well as the view of the sunset and the space
outside.
most of all, a warm welcome from the hosts
and the 3 dogs.
mmmm....nothing

Everyone was so welcoming and my boys loved seeing the animals and helping at feeding time.
The space around the lodge was great to allow for my boys to run and play.

Pros -
- Carole and Chris were really welcoming hosts
- Early check in on the hottest day of the year was appreciated
- Great location for driving out and exploring
- Caravan was clean and good amenities
- Use of a field to exercise our dogs
- Beds were very comfy
Cons
- After discussing picking up after our dogs (as we always do), it was very disappointing to see the garden covered in the residents dog poo for the entire week. It made playing with the dogs impossible and night time walks a nightmare.
- The decking and garden were not secure, our dogs recall is very good and fortunately our 4 and the 4 resident dogs tolerated each other. However, this led to a lot of stress for my nieces not knowing where the dogs were and if they were safe on a working farm. Consequently me and my sister couldn't relax as we were constantly calling our dogs back. In the end we stopped letting them outside, only to use the field, which meant we also couldn't sit outside unless we attached leads to the decking.
Would not be appropriate for reactive dogs or those with poor recall.
- There was little privacy to the caravan as it ran the length of the drive on a busy working farm, including having workmen parked outside for a day with their cab in line to the livingroom window where we were trying to relax.
- The resident dogs barked every time a vehicle came on to the property, which was on and off all day, one day starting at 4.30am. We constantly had to talk to our dogs to stop them from joining in the barking. We didn't get a single night of unbroken sleep.
- The water pressure and temperature on the shower was hit and miss.
- Not a good location to walk to places from, no paths on very busy A roads

Beautiful location amongst fields of gently lowing cows. The house is gorgeously decorated and extremely comfy and are hosts couldn’t do enough to make our stay wonderful, such nice people.
Can’t really think of anything, the postcode doesn’t really work on the sat Nav, but the host’s directions were spot on.

The location, the lodge itself & the owners were very friendly.
Our only fault was the shower not working but apart from that it was excellent & there was a bath to use.

The lodge was extremely clean, comfy and relaxing, Chris and Carole were very welcoming, let the girls get involved with feeding the calf’s, even brought some board games round for us all to enjoy. Was very helpful with information about the area. The lodge is 45mins away from Eden, 1half hr from st Ives and at Micheal mount, Bude beach is 30mins away. And lots more to see and do that was not too far in distance.
Nothing!

The view is stunning, the location is far enough out of the way for tranquility but also only a short taxi/drive into town.
The hosts are lovely and we're happy to show us around the farm and meet the animals.
The dogs and cats were super friendly.
The accomodation was lovely, a very modern caravan that was fully stocked with comfy bedding and towels.
Just perfect, we will be back !

The hosts Chris and Carole were amazing and we will definitely be visiting again. The property was exceptionally comfortable and my toddler Ann’s older parents were as comfortable as my husband and I.
We loved everything

Fantastic lodge - we really enjoyed our stay here. Chris and Carole are super hosts. The lodge was exceptionally clean with great views. The photos don't really do it justice. We hope to return one day soon.

Fabulous property, by far the comfiest/warmest caravan we’ve ever stayed in. The family were extremely friendly and very welcoming. The added bonus was that the property is on a dairy farm and you were allowed to see the cows/calfs daily and were invited to see them being milked. We took our dog and he absolutely loved it! Super dog friendly and very clean.
Nothing. Only downside was that we had to come home!

This was exactly what we were looking for. The ideal location, quiet and spacious. It is a single mobile home on a farm - ideal for us but not if you are looking for lots of facilities such as playground etc.
We loved the little extras like a Christmas tree (we stayed in December) and cleaning items - dishwasher tablets etc. The kitchen was well equipped.
Everything was very clean and in excellent condition.
The internet was not good but that was to be expected in such a rural location apart from that all was perfect.
