The spaciousness, balcony, view

Nice view. If you like broken curtains, filthy kitchen cabinets, broken dryer, broken bedroom lamps, uneven water damaged flooring, bathtub faucet pulling away from wall— this would be the ideal place for you. What a rip off to pay full price. I spent two days cleaning mold and mildew out of bathrooms. Still did not get it all.

I've stayed at many units in the Sea Colony condos over the years, and this one is pretty solid. Not the greatest, not the worst. Overall, a few small repairs to this unit could really help (MBR blind, warp in kitchen floor, lighting). But the kitchen is nice, and the bathrooms are pretty good. Location is also very nice.

Master shade was falling off the window. Furniture is old and squeaky. Floor in kitchen bubbles. Broken very uncomfortable chairs on the balcony. The place has a lot of potential and was fine for our family for the week but would book another unit when returning to Sea Colony. Someone was “supposed” to address our issues while there but nobody came to the unit which was quite frustrating.

Sea colony is awesome! Amenities are great and view from this unit is awesome. Unit itself is dated and feels a bit dirty but hey you are at the beach and we barely hung out in it! Totally fine for what we wanted.

The photos show a well cared for condo, but onsite the unit is in poor condition. If it’s posted for a good deal, it is worth it for the beautiful view and location.

Enjoyed our stay! Place was great! Beach was amazing!
Amenities were spread out though and not ideal for our family to get to.

We very much enjoyed the fabulous view from the balcony. The unit was very spacious.
All the rooms were clean and the beds and furniture very comfortable.
The Bethany Beach area is very nice indeed
There were only two negatives we experienced but considered not major to our overall experience
As described in other reviews the kitchen floor in front of the dishwasher was bubbled up, this took a day to adjust to. We noticed that the dishwasher would pop open on its own if not specifically pressed closed.
The roller shade in the master bedroom did not work properly

Good location, nice views of the ocean.

We came during off season which has its ups and downs. The unit was decent. Same issues raised in other reviews about the hump in the kitchen floor, dirty sliding doors and the curtain that doesn't work in the master. You get what you pay for. The unit was pretty clean and comfortable. Good enough for a few days

This 3 bedroom condo was just what we were looking for! The furnishings are beautiful. We appreciated the 1.5 bathrooms for the two guest rooms to share in addition to the master bathroom. The kitchen has a huge bubble in the floor which we all tripped on several times. I noticed this was mentioned many times in other reviews for quite some time. You don’t notice it until you walk over it. I’d hate for someone to trip and fall because of it.
The blind in the master bedroom is also broken and is currently being held up by duct tape. It fell while we were there.
Overall, decent property and would receive 5 stars easily if these two things were fixed!

This room was not our original rental. We had been referred to this unit due to safety issues of the original unit. The unit itself is nice but the code lock on the door gave us much trouble and we wete stranded outside of our unit multiple times for long periods of time. Eventually rhey had to give us an override code after several attempts to reset codes and sending maintence out. Once that ordeal was over we noticed for a reservation of 8 ppl for 3 nights and 4 days-there was only 1 roll of tp provided for each bathroom and only 1 extra trash bag for the kitchen trash. There were almost no kitchen ammenities to cook with. Bring your own utensils like spatulas. Otherwise the unit was great with a great view!

This place was disgusting. Should have followed the other reviews but thought it’s a beachfront condo in Sea Colony, how bad could it be? Well, lesson learned. The master bedroom bed smelled like urine and when we pulled back the bottom sheet and bed cover, there was a huge yellow/brown stain that was urine. Vacasa took care of us and put us in a new place but this owner should really gut this place and start taking better care of their investment.

The Sea Colony area was fantastic and I would highly recommend it, however, I would recommend finding a different unit to rent. I only mention this as the price of the unit was more than its value. The condo was clean, however all of the furniture is in desperate need of an upgrade. The couch cushions looked dirty/very faded and it was very old. The kitchen cabinets seem very old as well and the garbage/recycling bin was very rusted. The kitchen was well stocked with all you would need for a weeks stay. Some of the baking sheets were very old and need to be replaced. The mattress on the king bed was clean but it was in what I would consider to be poor condition. The side of the bed closest to the bathroom slopes to the right making the bed extremely uncomfortable. The fans in the bathrooms were very loud, it sounded as though an airplane were getting ready to take off. The AC seemed to work well in the main area but the master bedroom was very warm. Ceiling fans would be a great addition to circulate air. Overall we had a great stay and I would definitely considering staying at Sea Colony again in the future.

Sea Colony is a great place to stay with many activities for the family. This unit was aged and needed multiple fixes during our stay starting with the plumbing. Worker showed up to fix kitchen sink which was fixed but didn’t fix outlets, shower head, bed frame or other issues with unit. What saved us was the beach and pools at this facility when traveling with five children.

Was not fully cleaned - beds not changed - dirty towels on unmade beds - needs some TLC - no water pressure in kitchen sink (probably needs to change filter), floor was dirty - not washed - lots of long dark hairs on master bathroom floor - some pots & pans needed to be rewashed

The Sandy colors mixed with ocean blue decor and the furniture choices added to the charm of our stay at sea colony.
The unit was the perfect size for four adults.

Great View, but Needs Major Overhaul.
GOOD - Probably one of the best views in the complex. NIce open floorplan. BAD - Pictures make it look nicer than it is. In fairness, end of the season, but unit was very dirty, musty smelling and old. Really needs a major overall update and cleaning. Bathrooms, in particular, look to be original and in very poor condition. Lots of mold and mildew, super loud fans, amateurish repairs and cheap updates. Most of the main living area furniture should be replaced. Rope chair too uncomfortable to use. TV too small to view from the sofa. Kitchen cabinets dirty and worn around knobs. No light over dining table, no ceilings fans, no lightblocking shades in MBR. Has "great bones", could be a very nice corner unit, but time for a significant update.

We were very disappointed in our experience at 610 Dover in Sea Colony. This unit is very run down, stained, rusty and dirty. The beds are hard, extremely uncomfortable and not functional. The curtains are broken with strings hanging off of them. The couches and carpets are stained. The unit needs a complete overall and thorough, deep cleaning.
In addition, the unit was not cleaned (well or very little) prior to our arrival. There was dirt and items (like crayons, tissues, etc.) from prior renters on the floor and under the beds, the showers had hair on the walls, and the floors were dirty. We asked to have the apartment recleaned which helped a little.
The pictures of the unit on the Vacasa website must be very old as the unit was much more worn out than the photographs showed. We called and went to the Vacasa office and all that was done was a minimal refunding of the cleaning fee. The site manager said there was nothing that they could do and that the owner has to make changes. Vacasa should stand behind anything that they are renting, not pass the buck to the owner and take no responsibility.
We were very disappointed with our experience in this unit.

Don’t Trust the Pictures
While this condo had the size we needed, the pictures on the website make it appear as if it is new and fresh and clean. This condo is outdated and dingy. Half of the lights did not work and the cabinets were old and stained. The pots and pans and other kitchen items were haphazardly thrown into the cupboards and frankly have seen their day. The sectional sofa was old and dirty and uncomfortable. And the TV in the main room it’s small and hard to see from so far back on the sofa. I’m not sure when the owners were there last night I would take a big pass on this particular condo

Great place for families
We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. The rental was perfect for our family of 5, with plenty of things to do on and within walking distance of the resort. Very clean and well kept. View is spectacular!
