Good location and the view of the ocean. Everything about this property is adequate, nothing is really disappointing. The showers, baths have good water flow, good drainage, the doors to the balcony slide relatively easily, the beds are relatively comfortable, the kitchen is fine, and there is a good collection of balls, beach chairs, etc. in the front hall closet. TVs are good , all in all nothing disappointing, a good place to stay.

Everything was perfect, the condo had everything we needed and a good amount of space. Would definitely rent this again. We have rented many condos at the sea colony and this was definitely one of the nicest.

This is our second year renting in Sea Colony and boy oh boy this year did not disappoint. 803 S Edgewater is beautiful, spacious and well stocked. The view is incredible. We will definitely be back!

Overall the place is great and would stay here again. We did run into a few issues with wifi & clothes dryer (both were broken for entire stay).

Great vacation and would do again. It really is right on the beach. It does have a great balcony. The building does have an outdoor pool, indoor pool, sauna, etc. The place was well stocked with puzzles, games, everything for the kitchen (actually out of laundry detergent, but not a big deal and probably just that once). The only downside is that it is a dated building. But that's very common for the big condos up and down the beach and it wasn't gross or anything like that — the positives far outweigh the negatives.

Everything went well except for the fire alarm going off at midnight and having to evacuate. Also not having the use of elevators to go back to our condo on the 8th floor.

A previous stay scheduled through VACASA was not pleasant, but we decided to give VACASA second try. We are glad we did! We loved this condo. Check-in was much more smooth and easy and the unit was clean (newly painted) and the view was incredible. (The freezer needs attention but had no impact on our stay.)

The location was great but the cleanliness was not. On our arrival we found the floors and patio very dirty and the couch covered in spots of sunscreen. Luckily the owner had cleaning items in a closet so we cleaned these areas. However, later that night we discovered that the 2nd bedroom had 2 beds and extra blankets in the closet that all smelled of urine. I contacted the property management company and they sent a staff member to the location. They offered new sheets but not fresh bedspreads or blankets.
The rest of the stay was nice and the view was great, but the cleanliness of this experience will prevent me from returning.

I have been going to Sea Colony for 45 years (minus the last two because of COVID) and have never had an experience like this. When we arrived at the apartment, we found that the refrigerator door was broken, the ice maker didn’t work, the front door to the apartment would not lock from the outside, there were no dish towels, and there was no dishwasher detergent. In addition, while the apartment looked clean upon first entering it, we found dirty dishes in the kitchen cabinets, a dirty napkin under the bed, and other things under the couch and coffee table. It was disgusting. I called vacasa. The next day, someone from housekeeping brought kitchen towels and a few dishwasher detergent pods. I was told someone from maintenance would come to deal with the refrigerator, ice maker, and door. We could not all leave the apartment because we couldn’t lock the door. Eventually someone came and fixed the lock on the door. The person said the refrigerator was likely not fixable and he didn’t say anything about the ice maker. I called vacasa again and this time, I was told that maintenance needed a part to fix the refrigerator door and they didn’t know when it was coming. I called repeatedly throughout the week and neither the ice maker nor the refrigerator door was ever fixed. Then, midway through the week, the washing machine stopped working. I put some towels in, started the washer, and when I went to transfer them to the dryer, the towels were dripping. I was going to put them through another rinse cycle, but the machine simply wouldn’t turn on. I called vacasa again.
On our last full day, a maintenance person came and said he couldn’t fix the refrigerator because he needed a part. He said he “switched on” the ice maker, but it never started working. When I asked about the washing machine, he has no idea what I was talking about. I explained to him and he said we should look for the circuit breaker. We searched the apartment for about ten minutes and couldn’t find the circuit breaker anywhere. (I am guessing it is inside one of the locked “owner’s closet”s.) He finally found a button on an outlet that had apparently tripped and he pressed the button, which fixed it. That was when we had less than 20 hours left before we had to check out.
This was a very disappointing experience. The problems significantly interferes with our vacation, in part because we couldn’t even leave the apartment the first day because of the broken lock. I also spent an inordinate amount of time of the phone repeating the same things to different people at vacasa, all of whom were perfectly nice but ultimately largely unhelpful. While I love sea colony, I do not recommend this apartment.

Everything was excellent! We had a fantastic time. Perfect place for kids! Only a minor complaint—we were provided two rolls of toilet paper for two bathrooms for one week and one roll of paper towels, along with one garbage bag—for one week. This isn’t nearly enough for four people so we ran over to CVS to grab additional supplies.

Property was perfect for our family of 5. It was very clean and had plenty of space. Great access to the beach and other amenities of Sea Colony. Nice that it has plenty of pots/pans, beach stuff, sporting equipment, books, and games. Would have been nice to have some pantry staples available.
