About this farm stay rental
Namaste Farms farm stays are educational and operated under a 501c3 dedicated to the preservation of agriculture and fiber arts. You’re support is greatly appreciated. “The Treehouse" at Namaste Farms is located at the head of the wine trail in Temecula's Wine Country. This is a unique glamping (glamorous camping) style experience catering to those who are looking for something untraditional and fun. Your accommodation is actually an amazing work of art and craftsmanship. Please note, the space is tiny and the interior of the space is only large enough for an ornately decorated full size bed with the canopy. On the outside of the treehouse is a completely covered truck bed which has a table and chairs from which to view the farm. You can sit outside and chat, eat, or just watch the animals wandering about.
Please note, the bathroom and shower are below and unattached; be assured, they are not shared and are yours alone. Also note, there is NO AIR CONDITIONING but there is heat from a state of the art heater. For keeping cool, there is a vintage fan which is pretty powerful and both doors to the inside of the treehouse open to make it very comfortable except during peak hours on the hottest of days. Temecula does cool off at night and always has a breeze at about 4:30 pm; also the covered truck bed patio is always pleasant. We've actually never had a person complain about the temperature, however, if you're not up for the "full monty" of glamping, you might find one of our other listings more to comfortable.
This glamping style experience is in the heart of Temecula's Wine Country on a true working sheep farm. Please read the rest of the information so you know idiosyncrasies of farm life and understand what to expect during your stay.
NOTE: Namaste Farms is a true working farm with copious amounts of sheep, goats, chickens, peafowl, and countless other animals. Along with those, we have free range squirrels, rabbits, flies, dust and yes, even free range spiders. If you're wanting a rustic experience that gives you a break from city life and you can handle dust, dirt, cobwebs (and these can happen over night inside your cottage and WILL be in the common areas), with sounds of animals vocalizing at all hours of the day and night, then Namaste Farms is a perfect fit for you. While most guests (and your hosts) see the idiosyncrasies and obvious cohabitation with animals and bugs beautiful, you may not. If your primary focus is on amenities, and you're looking for a completely dust/dirt, cobweb/bug, and animal/animal sound free experience, a working farm is probably not a good fit for you. Also, since many people don't read past this paragraph, the price posted is for one guest which keeps costs down for single travelers. For people with dogs, there is a 10.00 a day dog fee. We are dog friendly, but to keep our free range animals safe (and we have had them injured or killed by people not recognizing that dogs are predatory by nature), please keep your dog easily under control and on a short leash at all times. Also, because it's not possible to control your dog on a long line, dogs may NOT be tied or tethered anywhere on the property. To protect our furnishings etc... your dog must not be left alone unless it's in a crate. If you need to leave your NON-barking dog here, occasionally we have a bedded stall you can put your four legged friend. If you want to let your dog off leash, about 2 blocks down the dirt road (off property), there is a large scrub field where you can let your dog run free. Just know, you're supporting a 501c3 charity and all the revenue goes to support the animals.
This booking is for the Treehouse, and while it's only 1/2 a mile from the city limits, it has a rural feel and is centrally located to all wineries and most of the major equestrian facilities including Galway Downs, Green Acres, and California Ranch Company. For those who are coming to Temecula for horse shows, we also have a large barn with bedded stalls and turnouts (for an additional fee). There are designated horse trails right outside our gates which will even take you to Galway Downs. If you're into golf, you can enjoy Temecula's 7 PGA golf courses or Pechanga Casino which are also within a short driving distance to the farm. If horses or golf isn't your thing, you can visit Temecula Valley wineries which are all ~ 1/2-3.8 miles of the cottage gates. The wineries are not within walking distance of each other, UBER is only too happy to come here and pick you up! If you're not interested in any activities and simply want a "staycation," you can hang out here where you're welcomed to walk around the farm and interact with the animals. At night, enjoy the sounds of serenity.
The Treehouse is a glamping adventure which means it's the equivalent of "glamorous camping." The bathroom and shower are detached and accessible via a small deck.
We encourage guests to feel at home and enjoy the peaceful farm environment which extends beyond the cottage. If you have more guests in your group, please check out the Main Cottage, the Hay Barn cottage and Hammie in a separate listing.
Please keep in mind that we are not a "pretend farm" set up so that we can attract people to our facility. This is an actual working farm where shepherdess, Natalie Redding (Nat Geo Wild's, Shear Madness) and her working dogs, Lacey, Lad and Nesta work every day. This means there is dirt, dust, chickens, peacocks, alfalfa, sheep, bugs, and other living beings associated with nature and farm life. People who've not had the opportunity to experience the beautiful and grounding life on a working farm may not understand this. I do stress that if you're an animal lover who is excited about staying at a true working farm, your co-guests may not share your verve. Please let them know there is dirt, dust, very little concrete or pavement, and they will surely leave with dust on their shoes. That said, I'm a frequent Louboutin wearer and I regularly chassé in my stilettos; dirt ground and all.
We welcome you and hope you choose to stay with us. If you're looking for a wedding venue, for a very reasonable price (1/3-1/2 less than other facilities), you can rent our facility for your own "Farm Wedding." The farm and treehouse are so fun!! We had a great time and the folks who run it were very kind and helpful. The treehouse and bathroom were very clean. The shower had a lot of spider webs and spiders in it, but even with my fear of spiders the whole experience was still very very worth it :)

We had no idea what lied behind the gates of this amazing property. It was incredibly peaceful and welcoming. They had repeating guests on other areas of the property with kids having a blast in this hidden true farm setting. We'll be back

This was our best Vbro experience yet. We were greeted by the host upon arrival, and received a tour of the farm. We were in love instantly. The variety of beautiful animals made us feel right at home, and the tree house was adorable ❤️ It was comfortable and cozy, not to mention the sitting deck that was perfect for hot tea and a good book. We enjoyed the outside shower so much, that we may have to build one back home. 10/10 would stay again 💯

Treehouse dreams
This was the most incredible place to stay after wine tasting! We came in a little happy for lucky and ended up having incredible connections with Sean and Natalie over various life details. He stayed and chatted with us and connected which felt so special. Both him and Natalie are the kind of people you want hosting you with kindness, details (omg the tree house details were UNREAL!) we only stayed a night before heading to Disneyland and my heart hurt having to leave after such a short time. The shower has a tree built into it so beautifully and the had great products for showering and with towels, slippers and robes! We sat on the porch at night and listened to the animals while drinking wine we got from Temecula. Ear plugs were super helpful for my semi light sleeping but I enjoyed the noises so much.
Thank you for a beautiful stay!
