The house is nice. The beds have no mattress protectors, all the mattress are worn out. NEEDS WORK
We did not have breakfast. Location good
Ac Vent are very very dirty, It stays hot down stairs. Oven burns everything you cook in it because the temperature is so off. Micro wave above the stove is totally broken and you have no vent. Towel rack in upstairs bathroom is broken, toilet seat in the upstairs bathroom is so loose you almost fall off toilet. The mattress in all the bedrooms except the bunk bed room are worn out and you can feel the springs. The pull out sofa in the up stairs bedroom (Master) is so worn out there are holes in it and you can see the springs coming out of the mattress. The two couch beds in the living room had no mattress protectors and are very very dirty. The trundle beds up stairs were full of dirt. The pillows in every room are totally disgusting (black with mold, blood stains, etc.) There are no mattress protectors on any of the beds. There are ants in the dining room coming through the window seal. There were not enough linens for the beds, the towels would not even dry you off because there was so much lint it was stuck to your body. We washed them trying to make them better. Was only 4 trash bags left to use, I had to buy trash bags. When we checked in the outside trash cans were so full we had no where to put trash. The space was very nice. My opinion is the management company is not doing their job. This house is very nice for them to let SO MUCH be wrong with it.

Lovely lovely view and location away from busy areas. I really wish we could have rated this better and had a better st
Exceptional view and directly beach front via a small boardwalk and path. The bedrooms are spacious as are the dining, living room and kitchen areas. Perfect house for large groups. I wish I could have rated better.
We were unable to access the house due to wrong code given at check in. We attempted to contact management via booking, Vacasa and immediate chat support, all of which had no immediate or timely response. We finally accessed the property due to guessing the correct code! It was simply the given code for the storage put in backwards which our teen thought of. The kitchen was not wiped down well, the living room furniture extensively soiled, stained and dirty with what looked like urine and food. Stinging nettles were embedded in the carpets and master bedroom bedding, the master bedroom mattress had springs popping up into us as we settled into bed, the fridge water and ice dispenser didn’t work, fridge had a few broken pieces with residual animal hair in the doors and front, dryer needed three cycles to dry a small bit of laundry. It was a lot to deal with and I had to spend the first day cleaning as I went, discovering more things that needed care. We had to put blankets over the furniture so they could be lounged upon. The yard and walking path to the beach are not maintained at all which is how the stinging nettles are coming in the residence and becoming embedded into the carpets and beddings. I spoke w CS and they offered to send someone over to clean the next day but I declined bc I didn’t want our stay to be further interrupted. They did ask for photos which I submitted and they also asked for me to troubleshoot their fridge, which I should not have had to but did. No compensation or future stay was offered for the hassle of being locked out upon check in or the other issues listed such as of being stung by the nettles (both myself and my small child) and having had to troubleshoot and clean. Essentially, the first evening was wasted cleaning and searching out nettles.

Nice house and great view, but HORRIBLE management company,
The location and house were great, just lots of problems with the management company.
Horrible Management Company! Nice beach house, but would be tremendous if the management company was better. Received a code for the lock box. Tried it numerous times, but the box would not open, and neither would the backup box. Spent 4 hours back and forth both texting and calling to try to get help. Would not give me a local number or local address to get help. Kept repeating the same instructions that we tried over and over. One of our 55+ party ended up going to the emergency room with heat issues and her husband had to drive to Galveston to pick her up. Finally, someone came to the house at 6:30 (we arrived with an early check-in time at 2:00). It took her multiple tries, but finally she was able to get the key. The box was so corroded you could barely see the numbers. Also, the reset button was not marked and was jammed. The house was listed as being able to accommodate 15, but no linens were provided for the couch beds in the living room. They were also gross, dirty with soiled lingerie left under the cushions with dirt and grime. The sofa bed upstairs had holes in the mattress and again, no linens. We left a message about the linens and absence of trash bags. While we were out someone dropped off trash bags, but no linens. We had to use towels for the beds. Dog hair was all over the living room and the drapes had mold and mildew on them. The outside shower that was listed as and amenity did not work, and looked like it had not worked for a long time… completely rusted over. The yard was not taken care of (in fact the neighbor next door mentioned it rarely was), and the path to the beach was very overgrown with stickers. We saw several snakes as we were trying to walk to the beach. The basic design of the house is nice and would be a great place if the management company took better care of it, and responded and was helpful to the guests. HORRIBLE SERVICE!
