Situated in one of the best locations in Chamonix, with a south-facing balcony terrace and stunning views of Mont Blanc and overlooking the river Arve, Residence des Alpes 302 apartment is a very spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment, right in the middle of Chamonix's pedestrian high street. This accommodation in Chamonix has a large living room with lounge seating around a log fire, plus a separate dining area with access to the balcony where there is an additional table and chairs. Residence des Alpes 302 apartment also has a well-equipped kitchen with full size oven, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer. There is a flatscreen TV and DVD player. The two spacious bedrooms can be made up as doubles or twin beds plus, there are two Z-beds (fold out single beds) and the sofa converts into 2 single beds allowing flexible sleeping arrangements for couples, families or groups of friends. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath, the other with a shower, there is a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is secure underground parking for one car plus a ski locker for storing your skis away from the apartment.

The location of this property is perfect - right in the heart of Chamonix, but in a quiet building and facing the river. This is particularly important during UTMB week since accommodations facing the other direction hear the race announcer at the finish line 24/7. And Chamonix All Year was great to work with.

This apartment is absolutely gorgeous.
The location is unbeatable, next to the pedestrian street with numerous restaurants, shops and supermarkets.
The views couldn't be better, really.
We were there end of June, for and during the Marathon du Mont-Blanc.
The atmosphere was festive & joyful, yet the apartment was very quiet.
We could hear people cheering trailers approaching the finish line.
We could also see headlamps going down Plan de l'Aiguille at the end of the 90km event, magic.
I can add that the standard of the building is very high. Everything is quiet: doors, amenities...
Definitely an outstanding place where to stay in Chamonix, for groups of 3 to 8 I believe.

A very comfortable and roomy apartment. Lovely balcony with fabulous views of Mont Blanc. Convenient to restaurants, groceries, etc. We have stayed here before and look forward to another visit. Hiking around Chamonix is wonderful. Chamonix All Year made checking in and out very easy. They are very accommodating.

Great apartment to explore all that Chamonix has to offer.
Perfect, quiet property on the edge of the main street. Great views of Mont Blanc from both balconies and the river below. Easy access to dining, shopping, hiking trailheads and all of the lifts. Easily walkable from the train station. Easy check-in process and great communication with the property managers. Would stay here again without question!

Great apartment in a great location.
This is really nice apartment right in the centre of Chamonix with nice views over the river, 4 minutes from a bus stop and only about a 10-15 minute walk to the bottom of the gondola. I would strongly recommend it and Chamonix All Year (who were very professional). The only small issue we had was that the ski locker (which is within the parking garage) could only fit skis for 3 people and you are not supposed to bring skis to the apartment...

Amazing location in a cosy apartment with tremendous views!
Our family of five loved our winter escape to Chamonix. The apartment location on the pedestrian street was ideal for accessing everything we needed -- from groceries to snow-shoe equipment to vendors selling chocolat chaud. In fact, during our weeklong stay, we only used the car once to explore a gorgeous snowshoe mountain trail in nearby Vallorcine. We were able to do everything else in Chamonix on foot within a 20 minute walk of the apartment.
The accommodation is cozy and a bit outdated, but it served our needs. We enjoyed having a fireplace at the end of a day in the snow. In the winter, it was a bonus to have covered garage parking too. One of the highlights of the apartment is the views to Mont Blanc. Unfortunately due to the weather, we never did see Mont Blanc, but we did enjoy the views over the river and up the mountains.
We do agree with some other reviews regarding the beds; while the mattresses are comfortable, they really are narrow and could benefit from an update (e.g. wider beds and/or duvets). In the kitchen, it would be helpful to have a few additional items, such as an oven mitt, trivets for hot food, and some additional serving plates/bowls.
Overall, we would definitely return again if given the chance!

Great location and it's a nice spacious apartment. It's very convenient having a washer and a separate dryer - especially on a ski holiday or if you have young children. However the furniture is well used and needs upgrading. On a previous review - someone suggested having larger beds and you replied that there was no room being that one of the bedrooms has built in furniture and a large bed would not fit in. We stayed in that bedroom and there is plenty of room for a king sized bed. Please tell the owners that if they're renting the apartment out full time they need to plow some of their profits into furniture maintenance.

excellent stay, fantastic location.
Excellent stay again, a little bit pity, that at the arrival only another garage was available. The lady fixed that, but it is not funny, when you arrive after 11 hours driving. The device for de DVD was not there, but one telephone call was enough. No WIFI for the whole week.

Xmas 2019 Chamonix
Can't rave about the location enough. The apartment and the associated parking were perfect for our needs. The open fire was great over Christmas. The town looked incredible all illuminated at night. The apartment itself was great the balconies afforded amazing views of the mountains. Having the separate bathroom and shower room each with a toilet was nice. We would definitely stay here again. My only observation would be if I had to find fault which is hard. Its not exactly cutting edge modern on the fixtures and fittings front. But that's being picky everything works and is adequate just a little tired and dated. Oh and an iron but no ironing board is a little strange. We would however stay again in a heart beat. Great break!

Lovely apartment in terrific location.
This is a truly spacious well positioned apartment.
Two balconies that followed the sun. Large, bright, & comfy living room. Fabulous views of the mountains. Kitchen was more than adequate not top of grade though. Lots of equipment all nice and clean.
Two good sized bathrooms, great showers. Essential with a family participating in energetic sports.
Two spacious bedrooms with plenty of storage. Mattresses are subjective, for me it was absolutely fine for the other half too soft.
In my view it's a lovely apartment in a fantastic situation.

A piece of paradise
Fantastic flat deep in the center of Chamonix, with an unique 360’ view of Mont Blanc and Aiguille du Midi. It’s equipped with all the modern comfort, not last a fireplace in the center of living room.

Very satisfied, great apartment for a relaxing holiday.
Location is excellent, close to everything. There's someone reviewed with own photo somewhere else and it looked quite horrible and made us worried, turns out that such photo was very wrong, the room is actually really nice, warmly decorated, lots of space and sufficient for 3 adults and 2 kids without feeling tight, very clean, good layout with wonderful view over Montblanc from both balconies /both bedrooms and dining table, ok size TV, good wifi, lots of toys for kids, good 2 separate toilets and showers (not strong shower if used at the same time though otherwise excellent), good facilities for clothes washing and drying. Underground parking is also very convenient. Didn't use fireplace so can't comment, might be good during winter.
However, I feel check out by 11 or 12:00 and check in from 15:00 like most other places would be more reasonable than the current ones (check in between 17-21:00, check out before 10:00, anything differ needs extra payment).
Three minor things: no cutting board so we used a big plate instead, no coffee maker so we bought 1 cheap filter coffee maker (left it there), and 1 bedroom with balcony connecting to the neighbour is not very soundproof - we had no issue on the first week but our 2nd week neighbours seemed to love being at their balcony late at night to talk and listen to their music loudly so that's a bit annoying, we switched the bedroom among us so that the person who doesn't mind such noise would sleep there so case close. We could hear river stream but not much when closing all the windows and it's not very annoying noise anyway but prepare earplugs if you're sensitive to it.

Great Stay, Very Helpful
We enjoyed a great stay at Chamonix - nice apartment, perfect location, easy checkin (and early was no problem). Also great service: We needed a doctor to treat a broken wrist. The people at Chamonix All Year helped us find a doctor and arranged transportation to get to his office in Argentiere.

The entire process from reservation to check-out was well handled by CHAMONIX ALL YEAR.
Unit in great location, relatively well maintained (suitable for vacation away from home), fantastic views of the gorgeous scenery and plenty of kitchen essentials.

A perfect vacation
Our stay at Residence de alps 302 was perfect for my family. The apartment was located right near the town walking and ski areas. The apartment was spacious and the views were amazing. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit Chamonix to consider staying at this location.

Mountain Views
Another wonderful, trouble-free stay in Chamonix, all organised through Chamonix All Year. The apartment was bright and welcoming with FABULOUS views up to Mont Blanc. Situated right in the centre of town, the apartment was quiet but close to bars, restaurants, buses, and was just a short walk from the railway station. We enjoyed some cosy evenings in preparing simple meals in the well-equipped kitchen; other evenings we were able to walk the very short distance to a variety of restaurants (the nearby Anna Purna Indian restaurant is particularly good).
One tiny quibble: the pillows weren't very comfortable. Also, the apartment would have been better value for money if the exchange rate was better, but since that applied to everything on the holiday that was really beyond anyone's control.
We certainly plan to return to Chamonix in a couple of years time and fully intend to re-book Les Alpes 302.

Fantastic Apartment
My wife and I stayed in this great apartment for a week with another couple. It’s really big and there was so much room for lazing around in the evening. There is also 2 bathrooms which is a big plus. The apartment is also in a great location in the town and is very close to the bus stops. I would definitely stay here again.

excellent location with an outstanding view in a very comfortable appartment
We stay in the Residence les Alpes 302 for the third time, and we enjoy our stay very much again.
The DvD player was missing, but the people of Chamonix All Year fixed that very soon.
In the center of Chamonix, but nevertheless very quit.

Residence Des Alpes Chamonix
We had a lovely week in Chamonix while staying in this apartment. The apartment is in an excellent central location and extremely well equipped with everything from essentials for cooking/ dining to TV/games (scrabble) etc . I would definitely recommend it to any future guests. Compliments to the owners and thank you. We were looking for a visitors book to write a few complementary lines ...... but there was none ! Here's to next year!
We have stayed in this apartment on four occasions and have no hesitation in recommending it to other visitors to Chamonix. Practically, it has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location of the apartment block is a couple of minutes from the main thoroughfare with easy access to shops, restaurants and general stores. The view from the apartment is stunning, facing the Mont Blanc range; underground car parking available; 'Chamonix All Year' team helpful and available. There are so many things to see and do in the area, it's such a beautiful place. We hope to return next year!

Ideal Location!
We had a wonderful stay in Residence des Alpes 302. We were 3 people. My friend and I shared the room. I chose to sleep on the cot because it was a full size bed. Cot was very comfortable!
The other bedroom is the same size and there was a couch with a trundle for more guest to sleep. There are 2 good size bathrooms. Large living area, dining and adequate kitchen. The only thing I wish they had was a coffee pot and colander (to strain the past! :-) They had a coffee press which is fine but we needed to make 2 presses every morning.
Location, Location!! Perfect! In the heart of Chamonix. Close by was an excellent ski shop as well as a grocery store. Everything you need and the prices are reasonable!
All in all, Excellent stay, we will be back and we hope to stay in 302!

Family of five here. We enjoyed our stay very much in Chamonix. Here a quick pro & con for (hopefully) easy read;
Pros:
- great location, walking distance to restaurants, shops, pool etc.
- comfortable living and dining room area, with fireplace & small balcony
- light-filled
- underground parking
- friendly and reactive staff
- easy reservation process
- kitchen, though a bit small, had everything one needed. Good sized fridge / freezer.
- washer and dryer inside the unit
- we did not use any of it, but I saw toys, highchair and other items for small kids
Cons:
- I did not realize how small the beds were. Tight and uncomfortable for adults.

Wonderful apartment - fantastic location - and amazing views. Very warm and comfortable - great to come in out of the cold and have the heating on. Lovely views from the balcony and the dining area - very central to everywhere.
