We have stayed at this house twice now and have been happy both times! Will be booking again for next year!
8.0 / 10.0
The house and location were great. The views were wonderful.we took the short walk to the beach several times a day. The grand kids loved the pool and the hot tub. The elevated alcove became the cool kids area. They ate most of their meals there. Here are a few suggestions from the Grandma: We finally found the step stool on the last evening (by the washing machine.) All three adult women in the group are short and we wish it had been left in the kitchen. The mattresses in the bunkbed room need to be replaced. A toaster-oven rather than the pop-up toaster would have been appreciated. The hose for washing off your feet needs replacing (or at least the connector). Dishcloths for wiping off off surfaces should have been included. I finally decided to use a washcloth from our bathroom for this. Isn't there a special kind of cleaner to be used for flat surface stoves -- we never saw any. We never found a broom and dustpan which would have come in handy when the youngest spilled some dry cereal.. The toilet paper was the thinnest, most see-thru I have ever seen.

Wonderful family getaway. The walk to the beach was close and convenient. Close to shopping and recreation activities on site at pine island. Everyone had an enjoyable time.

We loved the home and layout, the pool, the neighborhood, and the proximity to the pickleball courts and beach. The home could use some updates, but we thought the price we paid was more than reasonable for what we got. Overall would highly recommend this property!

The house was a great location to the beach. Home offered beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Enjoyed the beach cart to haul our stuff down. Kids enjoyed the pool. House was well stocked and very clean.

The Positives: The house looked exactly like the pictures. It was clean and bright. Perfectly located and easy to find.
The Negatives: There were definitely things throughout the house that needed fixing/updating. There was a weird smell throughout the house the first night that we assumed was related to whatever was used for cleaning. In the living and dining rooms, there were no curtains or blinds.
Overall: We would definitely stay here again. It was perfect for our family.

Loved the proximity to the beach!

Loved the pool, plenty of room for the 11 of us and a few more, location to beach access. Home was clean inside, ok outside. The bad was the washing machine not working properly, ac unit smelled of an electrical type fire by weeks end. Kitchen could use some extra mugs, pots and pans. Beds were not great, but ok overall. Most houses we have stayed in over 10 years have had a second fridge, which is a huge plus, this house does not have one. Overall I recommend this house and would consider staying again.

The house was a nice size for our crowd of 13. The house could use some updates such as better mattress but we were pleased with the location to the beach, size of the pool and access to the community amenities.

House is very outdated and not the cleanest. There were ants in the kitchen and dining area. Couches were filthy and walls were dirty. The only good thing about this place is the proximity to the beach.

We have been coming to Pine Island for over 20 years, and this was the first time staying at The Palm Pines. The Palm Pines is a beautiful home, spacious, close proximity to the beach, nice pool, ice cold AC. The bedrooms were big with beautiful furnishings. Kitchen is huge with plenty of dishes and glasses for 14+ people.
However, from our many past stays there were some things that should be addressed ....kitchen utensils, missing measuring cups and spoons, griddle, working toaster (only toasts one side), one burner not working on stove, lack of porch/deck chairs, out of 5 chairs 2 were cracked, no dust pan to clean up sand or spills in kitchen. 2 showers had difficulty draining. Listing also describes having beach chairs, which there was one but it also did not work. We ended up renting chairs for the week.
These things may be trivial to some, but for the location and price, these are items that need to be corrected to ensure a quality stay for your guests.

Palm Pine did a good job of accommodating our group. its a 3.5. Love the big round table. It was great for our evening games and dinners. Good Private Pool. Hot tub works great. The Hot tub is under the 3rd deck so if it's raining you are getting dripped on. Kitchen is well stocked with your cooking/food prep needs.
Met the maintenance guy on Saturday, super nice guy gave me a number to text for any issues.
Great location for beach access.
The house is starting to show its age, and would easily be a 4+ rating with the some updated appliances.

We enjoyed our stay here. We had 5 adults and 4 kids under 11, and there was plenty of space to spread out. The location to the beach was great! Loved that we didn't have to pack up the car every time we wanted to go to the beach. We also like that it was a quiet development and not a lot of traffic. The house itself could have used a little more attention. The weeds had these nasty prickles on them that hurt like crazy and were growing out of the cracks in the driveway and right in the edge of the yard. The lights in the pool and hottub didn't work the whole time we were there even though the pool guy was there atleast 3 times during our stay. The inside was fairly clean but the baseboards were very dusty and as you were coming up the steps to the 3rd floor you could see right under the sofa and how much dust and dirt was under there. They did give you some things to start your stay, like some laundry and dish soap, toilet paper, shampoo, and I felt like there was adequate bath towels and wash cloths for everyone. We just were real impressed with the cleanliness/upkeep of the property with how much we paid to stay there for a week.

Great Location, Nice house!
The location was very nice. The house is in very good condition- needs a few updates but overall very comfortable. One of the coil burners on the stove did not work which may not seem a big thing unless you are cooking for a big crew. The hot tub was great, house overall was clean, the location was a short walk to the beach. you will enjoy this house.

Good location!
The property was in a great location just a short walk from the beach. The house was huge and had lots of deck space! However, the fireplace stopped working midway through the trip and one of the sliding doors was nearly impossible to lock. Aside from those minimal issues, everything else was in good shape and the hot tub was great!

Relaxing beach home
My fiancé and I spent a week at this beautiful home. We wanted to spend a relaxing week together before the holidays, and it was the perfect escape. Quiet neighborhood, spacious home, lots of light. Would definitely come back!

Beautiful house, horrible management
We’ve stayed in Corolla many times now. It is a beautiful beach town that’s dog friendly. The house was great but the management not so much. After driving eight and a half hours we get to the house at 4:30pm a half an hour past check in time and the maids are still there. I call management and they seemed to think it was no big deal. Funny how they charge you for early check in and late check out but when there not ready it’s just an oversight. Then the WiFi didn’t work the entire trip. They set it up so you have to reconnect daily but with 12 people using the WiFi it either kept kicking us off or never let some of us log on. Also after we were finally able to get in the house two of the bedroom doors were locked.
