Great value and a great location.

Great location - an easy walk into the city, and nice to be on the outskirts. Friendly staff, and excellent food in the attached bar/restaurant. Will defintely look to book again next time I'm in Wokingham.

Good value and really nice staff

Clean and comfortable room with generous amount of tea and coffee provided, great shower and a really good breakfast. Staff are really friendly and helpful.

A GREAT PUB AND I WOULD RETURN WITHOUT HESITATION.

JUST A NICE PUB AND GREAT FRIENDLY STAFF

A BIT OF A SHAME THE KITCHEN WAS SHUT - BUT NO REAL PROBLEM. WE HAD TO GET TAKE-AWAYS EACH EVENING AND THE PUB LET US USE PLATES AND CUTLERY ETC....... WHICH WAS GOOD.

I wouldn’t stay there again

The bed was comfortable but would have preferred it a little more firm. The room was clean.

There was no restaurant facilities at all and when you book the website should state that the kitchen is closed and no food will be available. I only booked on the basis that food would be available and room rate was reasonable. The TV kept losing signal very few minutes.

Very disappointed I don’t want the stress when away

Nothing very much

Only told on arrival that kitchen was closed until End February so no food or discount for lack of facilities. Room was cold although after a couple of hours it warmed up.

A lovely friendly staff, who made sure that all our needs were met.

The excellent, well thought out accessibility room. The way that we were able to store 2 mountain bikes in a secure back yard.

Clean basic rooms but bed was uncomfortable. Sorry.

Room was clean but dated.

The bed was so uncomfortable that I literally got no sleep. Noisy sprung mattress with springs you could feel. I was aching all over next morning. All it needs was a decent mattress topper & it would probably be fine.

Good Value for Money

Rooms are ok and good value for money. Power shower was great.

Rooms are next to the pub, which does good food at a reasonable price. The owning chain and managers need to sort their act out on gluten free, a couple of simple tweaks and they would have a great story to tell.

Room much bigger than we thought. Travelling to attend a wedding nearby so plenty of space. Easy to get a cab to venue and back.

Issue with the tv which we didn't bother trying to address as we were only staying 1 night. Also the mattress could do with replacing as a lot of the springs were poking through.

The bed was clean . The staff sorted the problem fast.. The parking was good We were left alone to enjoy our stay

*The moth infestation *Lamp shades where ripped and stained *There was rust around the plug hole *The handles where corroded on the bath *The hook on the door was hanging off *There was dirty marks all over the walls and ceiling *the TV kept switching off and turning over without touching the remote *there was only a kettle when it stated a coffee machine *We were told garden view and we got a Bush and road *there was no breakfast facilities so had to source it elsewhere

Dissapointing but near to where we wanted to be.

Comfortable, small fridge in room which my medication could go in and drinks which I like to be cold. Large shower room

Stayed here before with a really lovely breakfast so just booked it again, I’m hard of hearing and asked what time is breakfast and was told “I just told you there is no breakfast” lesson here is to check breakfast is available just assumed as had it before. Would not have booked had I known. Big cobwebs on ceiling/wall and dust in places. Tv did it’s own thing and dodgy socket.

A gorgeous little Pub in a residential area, a fabulous find ! Rick and his staff were brilliant, comfortable bed, right next to the Pub, food delious (Sunday roast amazing) and you must try their Thai cuisine. The locals so friendly, the weather was perfect to sit outside with a Pint or two :-) All areas of the pub and accommodation were spotless. A must stay if your in the Wokingham area even if its for the food & drinks !!!

Lovely spot with everything we needed and lovely staff :)

Nice spot, clean and neat with everything we needed. We were only there for the night but I misread the checkin time like a pillock and they kindly rung to remind me. Thanks for helping us out there (sorry!).

No one in when we got up earlier than expected to have breakfast within the time stated. Probs because we had said 9:30 the evening before but hadn't realised we couldn't get there earlier if needed.

A wonderful stay - great facilities in the room and we were left to come and go as we pleased.

It was clean, had everything I wanted. The staff was very good and instructions on how to use the place were simple. A very good experience. I would definitely recommend.

The fan in the ensuite was working so there was a little build up of mould on the ceiling. It didn’t bother me as it was minor - but I think they should get the fan working.
