Enjoy a fun vacation in a cabin perfect for families and groups - and their dogs! Enjoy views of the mountains as you take in the true log style construction. An expansive deck and a wood stove indoors means that there's plenty of spaces to chat and play games together. Watch deer eat from the field just beyond! The work station in the second ground floor bedroom is perfect for if you still have some remote work to finish up before exploring. But the most outdoorsy of the group may love the loft bedroom best, which is set up with its own full bathroom nearby and a lovely view of the home's vaulted ceilings on the landing. Once you're back from a walk or a climb, the dusty clothes can go straight into the private washer/dryer. Load up some wood into the wood stove, cook up some snacks in the full kitchen, and settle in to stream some Netflix. It's easy to relax in a cabin!
Lake Fulmor and Lake Hemet are both within ten miles of this cabin, perfect for groups that want to check out multiple locations. Hikers and climbers will appreciate being just over one mile from Mount San Jacinto State Park. Connect to the Marion Mountain Trail six miles away if you're looking for a tougher challenge. And of course, stop by Atomic Cow Creamery (one-and-a-half miles from the cabin) afterward for grilled cheese and ice cream.

Stayed here for a workcation while kids were doing a day camp in Idyllwild. Very comfortable, spacious, attractive house and location.

What a cool property. We were trying to escape the noise for the Fourth of July and this was the perfect place to do it. The bathrooms were older but fully functional and the main room and the porch were awesome. We saw deer in the morning and evenings and lots of birds. It was at the end of the lane, before the road curved up to the right and it seemed like we were in the most secluded forest but we were only a 5 minute drive to the adorable town of Idyllwild. It was a great stay, even though it was hot outside, the cabin was cool due to the large trees around it.

Secluded log cabin. Very clean and quiet. Great escape from the Palm Springs heat. We appreciated the use and look forward to booking it again

We loved our stay in this cabin. It accommodated 4 adults and 1 baby with extra room to spare. The washer and dryer were a welcome addition as we did end up have to wash all the sheets since my son is allergic to detergent and can only use 1 specific detergent.
My only complaint is that while the house did seem pretty clean the floors under the furniture were dirty, similarly with the couch, etc. While I expected it to have some fur etc since it is pet friendly, I was a little concerned that every time my little one (he was about 9 mos at the time of our stay) crawled along the floors his hands would come out dusty and covered in fur. Again,we weren't too surprised with the fur, but you could clearly see that there was a layer of dust below the couch.
That said, the home was comfy, close to town, and had a beautiful view. There were also seating outside if you just want to stare at nature.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

We love staying here. It is quiet but still close to everything we love to do in Idyllwild. We will definitely be back

My daughters I booked a last-minute trip for Mother’s Day weekend. This cabin was absolutely perfect. It was clean and cozy and very close to the center of town. It was perfectly decorated and definitely felt like a retreat away from home. I would highly recommend it and I look forward to staying here again.

This was the perfect stay for our family. Myself, my husband and our 6 and 7 year old (and even our pup) really enjoyed our stay over super bowl weekend. Its such a cozy home, and beautifully decorated, cozy, with all the amenities. Our kids just wanted to enjoy the snow and that they did. We were close to the village when we needed groceries, also grabbed a sled, and they had hours and hours of fun right in the yard. The home had all the supplies we needed to make meals and just enjoy eachothers company. Would 100% come back again, thank you!

We have a 19 year old and 14 year old and they had the greatest time here we extend another day. The kids didn't want to leave and we all had the best family time. Perfect place for a family or just with friends. We definitely want to go back soon.

We loved our stay at this cute cabin! The property was beautiful and the cabin was so cute and had everything we needed for a nice weekend away. We can’t wait to come back in the summertime.

I loved: the roomy interior, full kitchen, 7 beds (could easily fit a large family), surrounded by woods, roomy patio, easy parking, close to town, lots of extra pillows and blankets, lots of closet space, fireplace, 2 bathrooms with showers, comfortable beds. I would definitely stay here again.

I only gave this rental 4 stars because it says it has WIFI, which it technically does, but good luck using it. Don’t plan on WFH here. You can stream with buffering, but trying to do anything else on WIFI is pretty useless. That being said, if you’re not a big internet person, it’s a great cabin! Super quiet, comfy bed. The furniture in the family room was not comfortable at all but well laid out. Kitchen was pretty well stocked. No extras like plastic wrap or foil. But if you like rustic, this is it!

Great spot 5 min from town. 4x4 required when there's snow and the driveway is tricky.
Comfortable cabin, large yard, pup friendly. Great for two families with younger kids due to the large multi bed loft.

We stayed here for a long weekend family getaway. It was perfect! The place was super clean and cozy, everything felt up to date and new. Kitchen and baths were nice, beds were comfortable.
The back yard is a nice big field, perfect for playing in the snow. It doesn't look out on another cabin. And there is a tire swing!

Nice place in the woods looking out on a meadow. A true log cabin with everything you need for a short or long stay.

We love this place. We have stayed here twice and will definitely be back. The location is perfect. It is peaceful and quiet yet close to town and trails. The view off the porch is wonderful and we love watching the deer, birds and squirrels.

We really enjoyed the location of the cabin. In a very calm street and with a nice backyard. We were able to see coyotes, squirrels and woodpeckers. Overall the house was clean. The only thing they missed was to clean the logs from the inside of the house. You could see dust on walls since the cabin is build with rounded logs and those can accumulate dust. I would suggest the cleaning service from the cabin do pay attention on that. The other thing that it was kind of an upset and that is why I am giving 4 stars is the fact that check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. We had to buy late check out because everybody that have kids knows how inconvenient it is to leave that early and not have much time to enjoy the last day.

Pretty cabin with a beautiful meadow view. Very quiet at night, some road noise during the day. Nicely set up, with pretty much everything we needed. Do bring your own coffee or k cups. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

Very much space, and very comfortable too! Just a very short drive from Idyllwild and many great hikes. No issues at all. We think about booking this again for a winter get away!

We stayed from June 30th to July 3rd and it was amazing. It felt great to drive back home in less than 5 minutes and shower with hot water and have a full utensil inventory! We didn’t bring cups, disposable utensils, or even plates but they had everything; it was great 👍👍👍👍. Property was a tiny bit dusty and rustic outside but the inside was nice and fresh in the morning, and a little warm at night. One thing I will say however is that the internet progressively became slower and slower and only one device could use the wifi at a given time. Other than that small inconvenience, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we could stay another night. Thank you vacasa

First, they provide limited trash bags ,paper towels, toilet paper etc. Most importantly, BBQ propane gas tank was fully empty which we ended up to call our friend to get us charcoal grill in the woods. DVD player was completely broken and made us frustrated. Kitchen pantry was empty even no salt and pepper.

First the bad….I’d like to report the kitchen lights didn’t work the whole time we were there. The dust up above on the beams caused me to sneeze for 3 days. I have no idea how you would clean up there, I imagine it’s a tough job. It probably wouldn’t bother most people.
Alright the Good! This cabin has it all! Tons of board games and puzzles, a cozy wood burning stove, a huge room upstairs with a queen bed and four twin beds! Keurig, dishwasher, washer and dryer. A huge kennel 12’x8’ roughly, outside if you have to leave your dogs, two outdoor long leashes for your pups to roam. A tire swing!! A basketball hoop, but it’s surrounded by grass. Kids won’t care though. Deer salt licks out back, though we didn’t see any deer. Bird feeders to attract lots of pretty birds. A big lovely porch that catches the sunset! A gas grill on the deck. Pots and pans, knives, cooking utensils, plates bowls, plastic wrap, foil, stevia. Salt and pepper. Towels galore! Dog sheets for the furniture. Umbrellas! Gone with the wind DVD and many many seasons of the show 24. Fire stick on the TV. And Wi-Fi of course. The morning we we’re packing we heard a helicopter getting closer and closer…we were surprised to see, Cal Fire landing almost in the backyard! It was something exciting to see in a very quite and peaceful place. I would definitely book again. One last note. There is a king bed and a queen bed on the first floor in their own rooms. So along with the huge area upstairs there are beds for 10. The advertisement says 6. So that might help someone out.

Our stay was so nice and relaxing. The Cabin was beautiful, clean and perfect for our family vacation. We saw lots of coyotes & deer. We really enjoyed drinking hot coco on the back porch and watching the wildlife walk by. Can't wait to come back again.

We liked the place. Beds were not as comfortable and made a lot of noise. I liked the style, the quietness and it was close to the town, also the accomodations. The only problem was the allergies I got from all the dust inside

Home was beautiful was the property manager VACASA that was terrible !! Walked into a wet dog smelling unit, floors unswept, trash under the couch, coffee grounds in trash cans and around them, dirty refrigerator, laundry area smelling of urine, cob webs in house and outside, dirty entry door and windows !! By the 3rd day internet literally stopped, took numerous texts finally to get an actual response was told local property management VACASA was aware would be coming that was about 7pm after several hours gave up. Finally next morning after several more texts got a rude call back, Bob and head house keeper finally showed up, asked and was told 7 pm was to late to respond even though was told local property management would be contacting me previously. 3 hours later again after reached out to Bob because I didn’t hear back as promised was suggested I move to another property knowingly knowing I was alone, was about 100* degrees, said and offered to help me relocate but didn’t. My issues still haven’t been resolved I’ve texted back and forth and have spent hours on the phone with CS even spoke with so called manager Tanya to be told I’d receive a follow up call the following day and 3 days later nothing!! Texted again to more apologies but no actual call back in regards to resolving billing issues, seems they can’t explain and or give me an itemized invoice of charges or explain verbally the over charges and credits not being applied as promised In question? I’m had no other choice but to dispute amount being charged. Very disappointed and even more dissatisfied, my sons 10th year memorial that we hoped to relax and enjoy a 7 day get away turned into a physical, mentally DISASTER of fault of property management VACASA and still continues unsolved. Called VRBO was also disappointed was told pretty much out of their hands would have to deal with VASACA myself directly even thou I paid for services rendered through them?

Lovely cabin in Idyllwild just minutes away from the town center with the restaurants and shops. Easy access to all hiking trails with forest service station for parking and trail passes just down the road. Highly recommend this great forest getaway for a quick weekend jaunt or a longer term stay to explore the area!

WONDERFUL CABIN IN THE PINES
We are so delighted to have found this gorgeous log cabin in Pine Cove. It is immaculate with a well appointed kitchen, has a porch to sip coffee in the morning, and there’s a pretty meadow off the porch.
Beds are comfortable, and our family of four were comfortable, but it could sleep 8 with no problem. We will be back to this cabin for sure!

Great location!!
This place was perfect for our family vacation! Cabin was clean and had plenty of space, since it was only 3 of us we didn’t even use the upstairs area. The location and view form the the back porch feels like you have your our own private piece of Idyllwild. Only suggestion would be to update the cookware but what’s available worked just fine. Will definitely be coming back!

Relaxing Getaway
Adorable accommodations! Area is remote, quiet and full of nature. We were visited by deer, blue jay's and squirrels. Would definitely stay here again. The kitchen and cleaning items could be better stocked. There were no cleaning products to do the everyday kitchen clean up. Kitchen table chair pads were very stained and should be replaced or removed. TV set up was very confusing and no instructions how to use were provided. The management team should be educated as to the amenities of this house. We called to find out if outdoor patio chairs and a Keurig coffee maker was provided. We were told NO and brought our own. Upon arrival, there were both patio chairs and a Keurig provided. Overall a wonderful place and would recommend.

Cabin was clean & comfortable. Plenty of towels. Saw some wildlife: 2 deer on our last day, 1 coyote in the meadow, squirrels every day. Tv w/streaming available, but bring your own passwords. Close to town, short drive.
