About this house rental
Get away from the everyday and escape to the ultimate family retreat with endless activities for all. Nestled among large pines in the quiet, centrally located neighborhood of Fox Farms, this one-of-a-kind luxury lodge has everything your entire family is looking for.
Regarded as one of the nicest areas of Big Bear, while boasting its own history, Fox Farms provides the ideal location for residents and vacationers alike with unparalleled access to the lake, skiing, national forest, golf, and the main shopping centers. The flat topography of Silver Fox's half acre grounds provides for abundant outdoor activities in a quiet, private and peaceful setting. The large pull through driveway provides all the off-street parking you could want without the added stress of a steep icy driveway during the winter. It can even accommodate an RV or boat with ease.
During warmer months, put your feet up and enjoy the crisp mountain air on the wrap-around balcony while immersing yourself in a great book. Take it up a notch with some good-natured family fun playing full-court basketball or beach volleyball right in your own yard. Want to get your competitive juices flowing but not conditioned to the altitude? Challenge a worthy opponent to horseshoes or a game of cornhole. If you're looking to relax but enjoy watching all the fun, grab a seat in the outdoor jacuzzi and let the jets relax you as you sip on your favorite beverage.
If the weather does not cooperate with outdoor fun, enjoy the endless entertainment options available inside. This luxury cabin's open floor plan encourages quality time together and leaves no chance for boredom. Practice your trick shots or play a game of 8 ball on the brand-new log cabin inspired pool table. While waiting for the next game, play cards on the whiskey barrel bar table or watch your favorite sports team on the 60-inch TV. If you're ready for some serious gaming, get out the poker tabletop, stack your chips, and put on your best poker face—winner takes all!
The nearby chef's kitchen provides everything needed to whip up a delicious feast for your crew or step onto the deck where two gas grills provide the means to host a giant barbeque on those perfect mountain evenings. The adjacent great room has ample dining space for all, while the family room beckons you to relax and enjoy a spontaneous conversation. If some desire to sneak away from the crowd and watch a movie, the giant sectional and 72in. TV in the downstairs living room is just the place.
While air conditioning is absent, nature compensates with its own cooling system - the fresh mountain air.
Big Bear's Silver Fox Lodge is everything you are looking for and more. It will be the place you will return year after year to celebrate, rejuvenate, and create lifelong memories.

We stayed here for Presidents’ Day weekend. Close to snow summit and grocery stores. Check in was easy and very friendly service. House was immaculate. Plenty of towels and access to washer and dryer. Beds and bedding were clean and comfortable. Temperature in the house was just right. We’d love to book a stay here again.

This house was perfect for our large family group...ranging from 2-70 year olds! The location is awesome--close to town and easy to get to. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Property manager was very quick to respond and helpful. The house had a perfect layout for our family...awesome kitchen and great room area, plenty of space for everyone to be together, plenty of spaces to spread out to, and great options for bedrooms/beds for everyone! Nice large backyard with lots of options for outdoor fun. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again!

Our 3 families have stayed in big Bear every new years for eight years now. This house has been the best yet. Beautifully stocked kitchen. Everything up to date. Great furniture, amenities. Close to everything. Very comfortable for 6 adults and 6 kids.

The house is very nice and clean. Good location. Our family and friends of 14 were very comfortable. It had enough space to accommodate all of us and plenty of things to do in and outside of the house.

We always have trouble finding a home large enough to accommodate all 15 of us…soon to be 16. This home was perfect. Lots of room for everyone and plenty of things to do without leaving home, volleyball and basketball courts, horseshoe pit, pool table, foosball, and huge driveway for kids to ride bikes. We would definitely stay here again!

Grandma’s 80th birthday family reunion
This home is beautiful, clean and perfect for a large family to spread out. The fenced backyard with basketball and volleyball was great to send kids out to play with no worries! Beds and baths were very clean and comfortable. Only two negatives……. SoCal vacations never sent me any communication regarding check in. I left two messages and an email never returned. Finally called the emergency number to get ahold of someone. I had to call them four hours before check into find out were to go. The ladies were very nice and accommodating just poor communication from the office in general. Also, the house could invest in some newer cleaning appliances. Vacuum didn’t work at all, broom was broken. Two coffee pots, one did not work, the other was very old and dirty. One dish towel in kitchen. No blow dryer in and bathroom. When you have a lot of people and kids it’s nice to be able to occasionally sweep or vacuum the crumbs from the floor or wipe down counters and tables with a cleaning product. Overall we would rent again in a heartbeat due to the location and design and space of the house.

Awesome House in Good Location
House was amazing. We wish we had more time in it because there were so many places to hang out and relax in. It was easy to find and there is a near by supermarket for any supplies you might need. The hot tub did make two of us sick so be careful when using it.

Family Snow Getaway
This property was everything and more as advertised in terms of comfort and fun for our family getaway to the snow. We were lucky it snowed prior to our visit and the backyard was perfect for snow play for young kids and grown ups alike. The upstairs area was great for cooking and hanging together. Very clean and beautifully decorated. 4 full bathrooms made it great and easy for all. Highly recommend!

Great weekend!
We visited with family over a snowy weekend in mid March! The property was amazing. The adults loved relaxing inside while the kids played in the backyard in the snow. Everything was great and couldn’t have asked for a better property. We will be back next year.
