Summary:
Las Palmas Resort is located on Sandy Beach in Puerto Penasco, (Rocky Point), Mexico. The resort includes our condo for vacation rental. The private resort is a gated-community with full-time security, 3 pools, jacuzzi's, 2 waterslides, clubhouse, restaurant, swim-up bar and a spectacular oceanfront view of the Sea of Cortez. Unit is very clean with modern amenities.

This property was very spacious and location was perfect. Very easy to get to main pools and beach. Could see the Baja building pool from our patio. Has everything you need. Will definitely stay here again!

This was a perfect rental for me, my fiancé and our 3 kids. Ground level made it so convenient for the kids to come and go. It was a bit tricky to figure out the air since there was 3 different thermostats but once we turned them all down it was fine. The most shocking thing was how comfy the Murphy bed mattress was, my daughter wanted to bring it home haha.

The condo was equipped with all we needed. Towels, kitchen utensils, grill etc. There were enough beds for 6 people. The only thing that confused us was the switch for the fans and lights. But I will definitely go back!!

This place is fully stocked with everything you could need. Didn’t have to worry about packing any beach gear, coffee or kitchen essentials. Will stay again!

Great price, great hospitality. There was not an ocean view as expected, but the room was at a great location in the resort. The gym is absolute crap and un useable. But the condo was great. Had everything we needed. We had a great time!

Great spot ,close to the ocean, great view, walking distance to the ocean. The pools are also very nice especially for the kids to enjoy. House has plenty space for all family members to sleep comfortably. Very cold AC . The owner Tom, was very prompt in responding every time we needed something, quick and professional. Great customer service. We enjoyed our time it was our first time and we hope to come again.

Location is awesome, bottom floor right next to a pool and a ramada. Short walk to the beach, bigger kid and adult pools. The room itself is very spacious, good-sized kitchen with all the necessary appliances, and plenty of beds. Check-in process was easy, Tom was very responsive, and we had a great time.

Unless you are owners Property’s of rocky point are not allowed to have service animals, this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. I will never be returning to rocky point for “vacation” again. Las palmas was not event decent enough to offer a doggy hotel like the other hotel did. They just said no we cannot check you in and you cannot have your money back, even after talking to the owner. Jackie was the lady at the hotel who ultimately decided no on service animals even with the owner on the phone. After Jackie the said no the owner gave up said your loss and stole our money. We now have to find a place to stay at 8:00pm at night and after booking again now had no spending money so yay for our vacation and counting pennies for the rest of the trip because we are not all rich and sometimes these are the few days we get to get away and have planned for and budgeted for the hotel and spending and having someone’s hard worked plans go down the drain is depressing. Find a better beach to vacation to.

The property was clean, easy check in, all the amenities were as they said it was. It was in a great place... easy acess to beach, zip line really close, rental of ATV close, restaurants walking distance. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Location was amazing! Perfect for a family if 4 with 2 toddlers. We felt very comfortable and safe! Everything we needed was there including camping chairs, wagon and a couple floating tubes. Condo was very clean! Felt like home away from home. We will definitely be back to this condo again!

We initially booked through vrbo and it didn’t go through and didn’t show in the trips tab. We found this out after booking it in October for a January trip. The trips tab didn’t show our reservation so we booked again and got it paid. Then the host refused our cancellation once they advised the first booking came through. The host represented that only vrbo could cancel. We were on the phone with vrbo for over an hour who said the host could’ve just accepted the cancellation. When we got there, there was leggings, dirty thong, shirt in the dresser. Out of the multiple pools, only one was open and the slides were shut down, along with the restaurant and only one hot tub was open… very misleading website! This was quite disappointing since owners claimed they didn’t know and promised to reimburse $75, but didn’t. I would NOT recommend this host

Great property with easy access to a beautiful beach. One hot tub was turned on in the winter and it was more of a warm tub. The property management was superb. We had a minor maintenance issue that was fixed on minites. The owner made it easy for us to land and relax into a vacation. The property had everything you needed to cook a variety of meals.

The condo was great. Very clean. Tom even had beach chairs, a bag cooler and a wagon for beach available. We fidnt use but it was nice to know it was there for any future visits. Condo is located close to main pools and there is even a pool with jacuzzi located outside patio with in feet away! It felt very private. Granted we did stay on a Monday so we did have that area to ourselves.

We regularly stay in vacation rentals when traveling. This was a perfect location for a family. We have small children and didn't worry about them falling off the patio as we have with some of the higher floor rooms. This property had a huge patio with nice seating. There was a pool only 25 ft from the patio doors and we were able to enjoy the pool while still being able to see and access the room. The large kids pool area is not too far either. There are a total of 4 water slides, everyone had a blast

The condo is beautiful, clean and the swimming pools are amazing. Great swimming pool for kids and they also have an adult only swimming pool. Had no issues checking in and the owner was always willing to help. Highly recommend it.

This is our second time staying at Las Palmas and in the same exact condo. Everything you need is in the condo, just bring your food and drinks and your good to go! My family and I enjoy it very much! The beach is amazing, the pools are so much fun and the condo is the best! Thanks for everything Tom! One thing that would be nice if could be changed is check in and check out times. In time is late and out time is early. Just an idea. 😉 Oh! Awesome idea to place a dispenser with shampoo, conditioner and body wash! That was definitely a plus! Thanks again for it all! 🙏🏼

2nd time renting this property. The host is very responsive and helpful. Beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath condo. Split floor plan with 2 comfy beds in each bedroom and new kitchen which was fully stocked with kitchen appliances and utensils. Property is well kept and the pools are nice. Will keep coming back!
