About this house rental
Alyeska Views is a newly built, 3 story, modern home located within minutes of the popular Alyeska Resort, a premier year-round destination for endless summer and winter adventures.
This gorgeous home boasts phenomenal 360-degree views of the Glacier Valley and neighboring Alyeska Resort nestled within the Chugach Mountains.
The open concept floorplan is ideal for guests to be able to gather on the main floor and still be able to enjoy some privacy by going upstairs to one of the 4 private bedrooms. The entry, kitchen, dining area, 1/2 bath and living room are located on the 2nd floor. The bedrooms are located on the 3rd. The open-air rooftop deck sets this property above the rest where you can soak in the majesty of nature from every direction.
Though this is not a full on wedding venue spot , the Rooftop deck truly is the perfect spot for your quiet quaint glacier valley elopement style Wedding. (Any extra guests are limited to 30 total people on property (12 overnight guest max+18 extra). Extra people are allowed between the hours of 2 and 9pm:) Extra guests must depart no later than 9pm. NOTE: All Weddings/ Gatherings/ Parties and events must Book a 3 night minimum stay, as I’ve found it to be too much for folks to cleanup and depart by 10am checkout. Couples who book 2 nights for their event seem frazzled and stressed upon departure:) plan to have your wedding two days before departure. Do Not have your wedding the day before you depart.
We do not allow loud partying at the house as this is a very quiet quaint neighborhood:)Loud music on the outside (specifically on the rooftop deck is Not Allowed.
You’ll find high end appliances and fixtures throughout the home as well as everything you’ll need to truly feel like you’re at a home away from home. Hard surface flooring throughout helps keep the space clean especially as we welcome your furry friends to come along. (Guests with pets are required to vacuum all pet hair before departure)
The Home has a kids corner of books and toys to keep your little ones entertained for hours each day! The Arctic entry closet is equipped with 2 packnplays, 2 strollers, high chair to help make your children comfortable and safe. There is also an extra folding table and chairs for extra eating/seating space (Often located on the roof next to the hot tub).
Outdoor adventures are endless in this beautiful region. Countless miles of hiking, snowmobiling, and exploring is just at your fingertips. It’s a great jumping point for all of the activities the Kenai Peninsula; glacier tours, cruise ships, fishing charters (deep sea and river). Check out the Alaskan rail system for views that can’t be beat or experience the flight scene with a helicopter tour! The possibilities are endless, and I’d love to have you make my home your home base as you experience Alaska!
The roof top deck (my favorite part of the house) will be a perfect setting for catered wedding events, celebrations or a soak in the XL Sauna (Hot Tub/Spa) while taking in the views.

Great getaway for us from talkeetna with family visiting from out of state. The grandkids loved the hot tub, the big g double shower and watching the Olympics on the huge tv!
Nicely stocked kitchen as well.

Overall, this is a terrific property. The rooftop hot tub was amazing with picture perfect views. The location in Girdwood was great. We were 7 people ( 5 adults and 2 kids) and had plenty of space. There is a nice children's area with fun toys and books. One bedroom is a little tiny.
Zack was easy to get a hold of and a pleasure to deal with.
Just be aware there are a number of stairs to get to the bedrooms and hot tub. This was not a problem for us but could be challenging for some.

Firstly, we didn’t receive any check in instructions so we waited over an hour outside the property waiting to get in.
Secondly, on the day of our wedding, we planned on using this place to get ready with all of the bridesmaids. The power went out at 9:30 am and there was no mention of a generator when I asked if there was anything that could be done. We had to book a hotel room because we were on a strict time schedule and when I let the owner know, he thought that was a good time to let me know there was a generator.
We did receive a noise complaint so that is our bad, but as soon as he let us know we turned it down greatly. For this we received a $100 fee. It was a Saturday night.
He also charged us a $100 fee for extra guests. We did not have extra guests and we actually had less than the amount I paid for. He counted my hair stylist who was there for 30 minutes as someone who stayed the night, and my mother who was also there for 30 minutes as an overnight guest. Also one bridesmaid who didn’t not stay the night (only there to get ready, but had to leave to the hotel because we were out power) as an overnight guest.
Lastly, we were 10 minutes late from check out (10:10am) and one person forgot her purse so she ran in for less than 2 minutes to retrieve it. We were charged $100 for this.
Overall, the place is very nice. But I think we were very unfairly charged for multiple reasons. We also had to spend $600 on a hotel and were not reimbursed. 1/10 recommendation

Everything was great. House is beautiful. Stone work and showers are really nice. Couch was kinda broke when we got there and one of the closet doors was off the hinge.
Everything else was great

This property is absolutely gorgeous! The pictures of the rooftop don’t do it justice. 🏔️ We had our wedding on a misty March day and the mountains in the background made for the perfect backdrop. The house itself is very comfortable. We had 6 adults and there was definitely space for more. The host was very accommodating and responsive. Thank you for a great stay and a perfect wedding venue!

We had a wonderful stay. The hot tub was a hit. It was dumping snow so the kids kept having to shovel their way to the hot tub which was worth it for them :o). It was nice that the stairs up to the entry were protected by the deck so we didn’t have to shovel that. There were plenty of towels and bedding for everyone. We had five kids between 7 and 12 and four adults. I do wish there were drawer pulls in the kitchen, I broke at least four nails trying to get them open. The fireplace hearth is huge which was nice for laying out everyone’s soaked gear.

Fantastic property - perfect for two families. Owner was helpful and very easy to work with.

We loved staying here and would stay again in a heartbeat. Clean, plenty of space, and great amenities. We had a late Christmas celebration with friends and the owner even left out a small Christmas tree which I thought was a sweet gesture. Kitchen had everything you might need and then some! Rooftop jacuzzi was spectacular in the subzero temps, plenty of space for the 8 of us! And an amazing view of Alyeska. All around, great experience.

Trying to find a place to accommodate a larger group was not as easy as we'd hoped until I came across this place. It is a lovely property, lots of rooms, well equipped and happily in a quiet area. Wonderful all around.

Went up for a short ski trip with kids during Xmas break!
Zack (our host) was informative and quick to provide detailed instructions of the house.
The house was clean, nicely laid out, and easy to move around. This place is perfect for large groups. The icing on the cake is the rooftop. The view is great!

We had an incredible time at this venue with close friends and family. The views at the top when we got married were nothing short of outstanding. The homeowner communicated the entire time to any need or questions we had. Wish everyone who chooses this as their venue a happy and healthy life together.

The property is spectacular…the open conception on main floor made it super easy for set up for reception after ceremony.
The views are spectacular and communication with owner was amazing…answered all questions very quickly
The top floor with the arch and benches was perfect for my daughter’s wedding…and the rain stopped just in time for ceremony.
This would be an ideal space for a family gathering with how close it is to Alyeska and the Wildlife Conservation Center.
Thanks for a fabulous rental

This newer house was an excellent base for our group to pursue a variety of Girdwood and Southcentral Alaska adventures. Zack was very easy to work and communicate with. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the needed appliances, dishes, and utensils. There were some excellent amenities - hot tub, huge TV, and that shower! View was excellent! I highly recommend it.

Property is brand new and shows a lot of thoughtfulness by the builder. Large kitchen, tons of deck space and flexible sleeping arrangements. The master bedroom is absolutely incredible and my wife loved the bathtub! What sets this property apart is the rooftop deck and extra large hot tub. We were a group of 6 adults and 3 kids and we could all fit in the hot tub together and enjoy the incredible views. No matter which direction you looked there was a picture worthy spot. The second morning there we awakened to shouts of excitement as we got to see a black bear saunter under the deck and up the driveway. Property is close to Alpine Air which, if you are able, you should absolutely splurge on the dog sledding glacier helicopter tour. The property manager was responsive and helpful and we hope to be back soon!

We loved our stay at Alyeska Views!!!
Our son and his bride planned their Girdwood wedding, and all of our needs were met in this home and then some. We were able to house 12 family members comfortably and host a Groom's dinner, catered brunch, and an Alaskan charcuterie event for various visitors. The rooftop hot tub was appreciated by all. (Guests at our rooftop brunch were jealous when they saw the location of the hot tub and the amazing views.)
Zack is an amazing host and truly interesting and cool person, and we highly recommend his property. If you are planning a wedding or a large family vacation, this is your spot.

4. Catering by Wild Fork of Anchorage was delicious and of generous portions; they catered both the wedding dinner and day after brunch
5. Sweet Caribou's macaron tower provided a visually stunning dessert at the Groom's dinner, and every flavor was delicious
When planning our next family gathering in Girdwood, we will definitely be staying at Alyeska Views. Thank you, Zack, for everything.

This place is amazing! It’s appointed so beautifully, and is in a fantastic convenient location. Love the bunk room with queen size bunks so cute! The rooftop patio is beautiful, and soaking in the hot tub up there is fantastic!

We love this house! This was our second time renting this property and will be back again. You really can't beat the view from the Rooftop Jacuzzi! Kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfortable and the property is nice and quiet. The Living room is super comfortable as it has great furniture for our entire group to relax after a long day of fishing. We prefer to stay outside of Anchorage, but there are still markets and restaurants close by that have everything we need.

Everything was clean, lovely, and beautiful. We all enjoyed the hot tub, the rain shower in the master bathroom, and especially plenty of room to play games, cook big meals, watch movies, and relax.

This property was amazing. My daughter wanted a destination "micro-wedding" in Alaska and this home had it all. The rooftop venue was perfect in everyway. Of course the weather cooperated with beautiful snow topped mountains for the backdrop. The kitchen was a cooks dream. We were able to also rent a nearby home to accommodate the whole family but meals, reception and services were at this house and it easily accommodated 15 adults and 5 kids. The kids toy corner saved the day when the weather turned rainy. We were close to unique Alaska attractions such as the conservation center and Portage glaciers. This was a beautiful wedding and unforgettable vacation for everyone. There are a lot of stairs but that is typical of houses in Alaska.

Zach is a great and responsive host. This is our second annual guy's weekend at the location and plan for a lot more. The floor plan is excellent for all of us to hang out and play games on the main level with the bedrooms upstairs. The rooftop hot tub provides for a perfect ending for a hard day of doing nothing!

The property was gorgeous and has a great view from the roof top. All the amenities were great. Our family had a great time other than the little fire alarm incident that kept going on the first night. It was quickly taken cared of the next morning so the rest of our stay was pleasant.

Wedding in Girdwood
Fantastic experience and setting for a small wedding in Girdwood, AK. The roof is specially set up for weddings. The rain that day caused us to quickly shift the ceremony and reception/dinner to the second level. The huge covered deck ( with stunning views) perfectly accommodated the wedding party with ~ 30 guest. The kitchen perfectly supported our Executive Chef recommended by our host Zach ( Ruben from Birch & Alder). Everything needed to efficiently support a dinner for 30 was on-hand and help make a wonderful experience for our daughter. Highly recommend Zach’s house in Girdwood for you next event.
