The people running the place were just wonderful. I get the sense that the property is new and they are really working hard to make it a success. They attended to every request with patience and kindness.
It still feels a little new, likely just built. A bit on the edge of town, maybe 10 minute brisk walk to everything. That did make it quiet though - it seemed like it could be a bit loud if you were staying right in town. The walls were a bit thin if there are loud people next door, but we went in the low season so not many people were at the hotel.

it was classy, charming and clean.
when we arrived the gentleman at the desk barely looked up from his desk. He seemed annoyed we couldn’t speak Spanish and did not try to communicate with us elven though there was an English speaking staff member that was willing to translate. the help seemed very overwhelmed, but was eager to please. A family played loud music in the courtyard and were up talking and drinking late. Another guest finally asked them to quiet down.

it was pretty, clean and the staff was wonderful. it was quiet.
it was a 15 minute walk to town but the staff would drop and pick us up in town so it wasn’t an issue.

The staff were extremely attentive and wonderful about giving us rides into town. if you go you must try the carrot cake in the restaurant.
far from town, absolutely no place to hang anything. not even a towel rack. for the price of the room (expensive for Mexico) I would have expected a nicer room and better bedding.

Very friendly service, great restaurant, nice courtyard pool area. And they offer a good range of fun adventures for reasonable prices. The rooms are fairly basic and the neighborhood itself isn't very interesting, but this is a very comfortable and welcoming place to come back to after one of the many great adventures in Creel and surrounds.

Comfy bed and quality towels. Breakfast. Heated pool.
Music speakers outside each room playing loud music from 8.30 am to 10 pm. Smoke in the room from the outdoor fire. Noisey roosters all night. Noise from guests around the pool area at night, Location is way out of town. Bathroom tiles stained. No spa. No closet to hang clothes. No soundproofing as advertised and gaps under the doors to let sound in.

Super expensive and many facilities were unavailable. Room was shockingly basic, the bathroom door is right next to a bed and doesn't shut properly. Nowhere near enough space to store your belongings. Very basic shower, very few sockets, very poor internet. Staff were giving unclear and inconsistent messages about restaurant availability and timings. It was ridiculously overpriced for what it was and the listing says there is gym/ spa access when these facilities have not even been built/ installed yet. We were hugely disappointed at this high price tag. The location is inconvenient. There are many reviews giving a rating of 10 but little to no details - I can only assume these are fake reviews by friends/ family of the owner. There is no soundproofing, despite it stating that there is, and nowhere to out rubbish. I could go on, but all I really need to say is it is NOT worth how expensive it is, it does NOT live up to that price tag and the rating is artificially high - do not be fooled!

No closet, that’s it!

Everything is brand new! Breakfast was delicious! Homemade flour tortillas! Great service!
The hotel is still under construction, therefore the prices are way too high! The king bed I requested wasn't ready yet. I reserved the rooms three weeks in advance and a day before arriving they called to tell me that I will be getting a room with two beds.
