This was a perfect place to stay when we weren’t at our event we came into town for! Quiet neighborhood, each room has plenty of beds, great communication with the owners. Second time staying here and would do it again!

This is an extremely well maintained and very clean property. The retro look brought back a ton of memories. I was shocked how well maintained the property and contents were, given how old much of the interior and furnishings are. I am pretty particular about cleanliness when renting a property and this property is CLEAN.
We had no trouble checking in and checkout was a breeze. The neighborhood was very quiet and the house was very quiet as well. Not much traffic on the street, but we couldn't hear a thing going on outside. The owners store a boat in the garage and they were sure to alert us ahead of time they would be coming to get the boat. They were very respectful and very nice. Air conditioning worked great. The beds were comfortable (full disclosure, we didn't sleep in all of them). Showers were good and there were plenty of towels. The ping pong table was great fun. We didn't spend much time outside due to the high heat, but the yard was very well maintained and it would be wonderful to enjoy in milder weather. Living spaces were spacious enough for many people to comfortably relax and enjoy. There was some coffee in the cupboard and a small basket of little snacks. That isn't typical in a rental and we appreciated it a lot on our first day.
If you remember the 70's and/or 80's, you'll absolutely love looking around and staying in this gem of a home.

The home worked very well for family members that arrived and departed on different days. We had from 5-16 adults on different nights. Our average was 10. We had additional visitors during the day times. The key access lock box with my phone number for access was very convenient.
The spaces for visiting and sleeping were exactly what we needed. The two large common areas, one up and one down, were great for our size family. The large porch off the dining area and the adjacent lake were major benefits.
We visited family from Wichita to Fall River. The home was very central. It made easier for trips to explore the history of the Flint Hills area.
The entire family was very pleased. The Bergen's we excellent hosts, easy to communicate with and they supported our special requests. We would definitely use this property in the future!

Beautiful, clean home with a cozy, late 70s vibe. Lots of space to relax and enjoy time with family. The owner put up baby gates and had a high chair and crib for our granddaughter. The listing says there is a hot tub/spa, but there is not one if you’re hoping for that. Would definitely stay again!

We got together for a retreat with some old college friends. The place was perfect for 4 couples. We were all able to get around the table for meals and the living areas were really nice for hanging around and catching up.
The house was very nice and clean, both inside and out. I really enjoyed being out on the patio in the mornings looking out on the lake.
We loved the place and highly recommend it!

This home was wonderful for our large family. Plenty of room for 16 of us. The pictures do not do this home justice, it was more spacious then depicted. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. There were plenty of clean linens. My father lived the bird sanctuary in the back yard and beautiful lake views.

Nice house, dated interior but clean, in good shape with well stocked kitchen. Enjoyed kid's toys for our grandkids and had a good stay. Only concern was hot water ran out after 3-4 showers, we staggered our shower times the 2nd night. Nice views over lake, nice quiet neighborhood.

There were approximately 17 of us who traveled from various states to celebrate holidays. The house was perfect. I have never seen such a well stocked Vrbo! Very clean and hosts are fabulous! Our family loved the house and how spacious it was! So very happy to be able to spend time together! Had a ping pong tournament with the ping pong table in the basement! We would love to. come again!

We planned a small family reunion for the second year in a row at this Grand house. It is such a comfortable house, lots of room for us all, and special amenities for babies through seniors. We had a beautiful view of the lake and our kids had a wonderful time while the adults fished. We will definitely be going back.

The home was very clean, the check-in process was very standard, and accuracy of listing and communication was all on par. We had access to everything we needed and the view was absolutely gorgeous. The fire pit & sunset view was unbelievable.
Our retreat guests were a bit taken aback by some of the content of the bookshelves and the personalized photos were a bit off-putting.
Other than that, we had a phenomenal stay and enjoyed the use of the home. I would highly recommend if you are comfortable in a significantly Christian-themed & decorated home.

We had a weekend away with a group of fellow nurses that all used to work together. Would love to come back again. Only suggestion would be to have the wood split so we could utilize it and we couldn't get the fire pit yo work. Amazing view and more then enough commodities.

This location was such a welcoming, warming family place to stay. It was amply stocked with kitchen and cookware. We were surprised to find spices, coffee, tea, bottled water, hot chocolate and snacks! There was lots of room, fun games and videos, and a ping pong table. It even had a toy box for the little ones and some accommodations for the elderly. The highlight was the lake right behind the house. We were so pleased by our experience that we are already putting together a plan to return next year. The hosts are lovely people who were so easy to work with.

The home fit our needs. And was well stocked with dishes and other things we needed. However i do not like the charge for extra guests believe once we pay for the home that should be it. The home was very peaceful and fit tbe needs for our cousin retreat

Home Away from Home
This was our second stay at our "Home away from home" in Augusta. We brought an 8 month old and were so pleased that there was a full sized crib, a Pac-n-play and high chair (complete with bib!). Baby gates were also offered if needed. Owners are very accommodating and very quick to respond. We will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic place for a family get together!
This place had it all for a family get together. It sleeps 20 and 3 bathrooms plus right by the lake with incredible views! The kitchen was just right to make meals and snacks during our stay and it was stocked with everything you could possibly need to prepare the food. The deck and patio out back was perfect to enjoy the view and good conversation. The basement was game central with lots of board games and a ping pong table! This will definately be high on the short list when we return! Thank you to the host for providing such a warm, inviting space!!

Beautiful home on lake front
Beautiful home! We enjoyed our stay for a family wedding in the nearby area. We felt at home and were very happy with our stay. The kitchen was well stalked with cooking equipment and dishes. The bathrooms had a plethora of linens. And the beds were very comfortable and we all slept soundly! The neighborhood was quiet and close to things we needed. We loved watching the wildlife we happened to see in cold February! All in all we would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful retreat
We loved that everyone could gather around the kitchen table, and sit comfortably in the couches and chairs of the living room. The kitchen is stocked with coffee and filters, which meant that I didn't need to bring those. Everything was great, we were able to hang out with friends on Friday and Saturday evening, for about the same cost or less than hotel rooms would have been. It was close enough to our all-day conference and has all the amenities. Would stay again

Perfect Family Reunion Place
This 5 bedroom house was perfect for our family of 4 children and their families. Outside, we enjoyed the sunset views and walks along Augusta Lake to the children's park. Inside, we enjoyed great times of talking, eating, and playing games (including table tennis).
