Very easy to work with everything is as advertised no complaints would definitely stay again

Our stay at the cabin was excellent. It is beautiful with a lot of space. Big yard for our pets to play around. Walking distance to the beach. We had great fun and a relaxing short vacation here. Clean, with all the conveniences that made camping really fun. Melanie is a super host; she was easily reachable and answered all our questions promptly.

Very relaxing! Lots of room to spread out, inside and outside. Screened porch / gazebo was well-used. Kitchen and bathroom are well-equipped. No a/c but there is afternoon shade which keeps the inside at a nice temperature. A tall stand up fan is provided for more comfort. Lots of outlets for electronics and very good wifi. Nice walking area and the beach is just a couple of blocks away.

The property was clean, with new windows. Excellent service and communication. Would highly recommend.

Very cozy, quiet and relaxing. Just what I needed!

If you want rest, relaxation, peace and quiet, this is the place. Surrounded by trees, yet only a short walk to the beach. The cabin is well insulated, with everything one needs for comfort and convenience. This was our second time staying at Velletta Carmel, and we are looking forward to our next stay.

Our stay at the all-season cottage exceeded all expectations. I have stayed in my fair share of "cottages," but nothing compared to the comfort and convenience of this special place. The layout provided a spacious and refreshing environment, especially with the plentiful large windows looking out to the trees. The insulation and airtight windows helped keep the cottage cool, and I bet it helps keep the warmth in the winter. I would consider moving in, except I barely tolerate the mild winters in Missouri. :) One of the highlights was the screened-in porch, which quickly became my favorite spot. It provided a delightful sanctuary, shielding me from pesky bugs while allowing me to enjoy the captivating sight of rabbits and butterflies along with the sweet melodies of chirping birds. In fact, a pair of Eastern Kingbirds built a nest for their babies, and it was delightful to watch the mama diligently protect the nest and keep watch. The cottage was fully stocked with essentials, such as cookware, bedding, and towels. The blackout curtains provided a peaceful sleep and a fresh start each day. While the beach is only a short walk away, I was not well enough to travel the few blocks on foot. No matter. The serene yard offered me the natural space I needed to help recover from a chronic illness. Overall, the cottage was a delightful haven. . I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a perfect getaway amidst nature's beauty with the lake a stone's throw away.

Well kept, easy to find, close to water. And very quiet location. All the ingredients for rest and relaxation!

The host thought of every little detail. It was clean and lovely. Quiet but very close to water.

The kitchen was well stocked, quality knives and cookware. Loved the layout, so many places to be comfortable. Great attention to the details- fan, shampoo, some kitchen supplies (thank you), beach towels. Very comfortable beds, lovely linens. Accurate description, nearest beach a 5 minute walk and my friend who has walking issues could walk to the beach. Peaceful and serene getaway.

A well organized cottage, nice features; two bathrooms, good size bedrooms. gazebo, fire pit, sunroom, nice decor and privacy with all the trees.

We had a great experience all around in terms of the accommodations, our host and amenities provided! Easy access to the beach and a quick drive to Winnipeg Beach Boardwalk and Gimli.

The property was clean ,comfortable and well supplied with all necessities. We loved walking on the beach and bird watching in the area.

Me and my family had a great time, we were pleasantly surprised of all little touches that was provided so we didn’t miss anything, and everything was clean and in very good condition, thank you

This rental exceed our expectations. The property was beautiful, clean and spacious. The screen room was a perfect place to relax and listen to the crickets chirp. We spent two weeks here and I will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this property to all my friends.

Melanie was very responsive and added a couple of nice welcoming touches. Very clean space with everything you need. Lots of seating options inside and out. It was lovely to sit in the screened gazebo and listen and watch the birds, squirrels and bunnies. A quick walk to a small beach. Thank you!

The cabin featured a great outdoors yard with a fire pit,bbq and plenty of space for kids to play and it was a quick 5 minute walk to the beach. The inside had the perfect size kitchen, an all seasons room, fireplace and bunk beds for the kids. The cabin was very clean and inviting and the owner thought of all the small details by including supplies like tea, coffee, soup, mac and cheese, mini first aid kit, bathroom supplies...etc. great experience overall.

It was so clean and peaceful. The master bed was really comfortable. Loved the gazebo! So many birds to watch. Close walk to beach. Melanie was easy to reach. Loved my weekend retreat on my own.

Perfect, comfortable, clean place, midst nature’s delights observable from so many windows. Short walk to lake front, a sandy beach and along the dyke, makes for delightful strolls. Bird feeders were attracting various birds as they return for their summer. Beds very comfortable. Comfortable seating. We did not use the TV. Internet functioned well with no issue. Drinking water provided. Our stay was very quiet.

My husband and I took our 2 and 3 year old kids to this property for a safe get away from the city. The house was in good shape, clean, well cared for and well stocked with anything I forgot while trying to wrangle my 2 kids and way too much stuff out the door. We all slept comfortably and the internet connection was great. The lake was a 5 min (by adult legs, 15 by slow-poke toddler legs) and was a great place to go tobogganing for the first time. We were already talking about staying again in spring or fall. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family!
