Comfortable, cozy, clean, and convenient—this location was ideal for the eight days we spent conducting business and setting up our exhibition at the Goodyear Cottage gallery on Jekyll Island. We anticipate another enjoyable five days here when we return for the exhibition's conclusion in June. The historic neighborhood is a masterpiece in its own right, with stunning homes and magnificent live oak trees to admire.

The house was extremely clean and tidy. The furnishings are cute and in great condition. Kitchen is nicely equipped with pots, pans, utensils. The location is perfect, few minutes from everything in each direction. The neighborhood was quiet during the evening as well as the day time! Neighbor across the street was lovely, he greeted us and gave us an in dept 5 minute guide of what to do and what to see and where to go. Super helpful. Trip was awesome and will definitely be back looking to stay in this exact house!

The house is very cozy and clean. At first glance the neighborhood was a little uneasy, but overall it was quiet and safe. There’s a lot of history there if you like learning which we did. Great restaurants

Stayed here with my sister for a mini-vacation and it was lovely! The house is so cute and has a ton of charm! Close to downtown but still such a nice quiet neighborhood, we loved enjoying our coffee on the front porch every morning! No issues but texted with the host a bit and they were so nice!

We had a great time such a cute house!

This is a great house! It is clean and well kept. The owners have done a great job decorating. We were also close to the other islands with just a short uber or car ride.

This property is located in the perfect spot. Equal distance from old town, Jekyll Island and St. Simon!
House was decorated very well, eclectic and contemporary!

This house was perfect for the get away we wanted. It was clean and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised to find out how close we were go everything. Specially the fishing. Will definitely use again if available the next time we come for a visit.

Nice historic home, nestled in a quiet neighborhood. This was a great in between for people wanting to visit St. Simmons and Jekyll Islands.

The cottage was clean and peaceful. Unfortunately, Code Enforcement needs to address some home owners in the neighborhood. It was a perfect stay for us!

A wonderful little home that was greatly enjoyed by my family. Manager very attentive and owners reasonable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good price on a family rental in Golden Isles region.
Given some of the reviews here, I was expecting to find this house to be tiny with a galley kitchen & in the middle of the slums. That couldn't be further from the truth. There's plenty of room for a family up to 5, and 6 seems reasonable depending on the age of the kids. It's clearly still being renovated, but is a great bargain even in it's current state. For example, there were upgraded water fixtures to be installed sitting neatly in the back of the master closet, but it did not give a cluttered or "under construction" feel.
The kitchen is stocked with what I would expect for this level of rental. An exception to that was there wasn't a pan of any sort (plenty of skillets and pots), which when I pointed out to the manager, they promptly had their cleaning staff buy a cookie sheet and bring it over the same day (great service and response). If you are serious about cooking yourself when traveling the way we are, you will want to bring all of the usual items to supplement. This means bring your own spices, waffle maker, or whatever special items you may want. The basics are all there and of an appropriate quality.
The neighborhood is working class & the neighbors are friendly. Anyone complaining about it is probably more used to a pristine tourist area which this is not. Three houses down there is a home with significant fire damage, but importantly, we saw no signs of vagrancy or crime. You also can't see the burned house from anywhere on the property, so it's only relevant when you are driving down the street.
It is true that generally Brunswick can have strong industrial smell depending on which way the wind is blowing (which has purportedly gotten worse in 2020 till now). We stayed for five days & this was only an issue for half the day, and only outside. It's clear the owners have invested heavily in HVAC as the air inside was crystal clear, sent free, & perfectly air conditioned. If people are of particular concern or medically fragile, nitrogen dioxide & hydrogen sulfide seemed the most likely culprits, & EPA is already investigating (e.g. the GP Cellulose paper plant). We checked (and smelled) air quality every day, & it really was only 6 or so hours the first night, & never in the house. We hope to stay here again.

We came here for my birthday and even though the tropical storm hit it did not stop us from enjoying our time! This house was cute as a button and so convenient to everything!

Adorable little cottage!
Not in the BEST neighborhood but never felt unsafe. Location is a good central location for a quick drive to the islands and restaurants.
Would have enjoyed the back yard if there was any privacy like a fence.

House is beautiful on the inside; however, the outside could use some serious attention. The fence had fallen down, yard was not kept up. The description of this property should be revised to include the neighborhood/surrounding area in which this property is found so guests are aware upfront of what they will encounter when they are looking for this property. We felt a little unsafe during our stay.

Such a lovely cottage and perfect location for a Jekyll wedding.

We arrived in town a little early and decided to see if we could possibly get an early check in. Cynthia was more than accommodating. Gave us an early time then even checked back to let us know we could go even earlier. The house itself was perfect for our little family. Everything was clean and we wanted for nothing during our stay. Need were comfortable and we all could take a shower without running out of got water (big deal to us). We plan on a return trip to check out Saint Simons next!

Comfortable well-equipped home in quiet neighborhood
Our stay was enjoyable, and the home was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. There is a deck outside the kitchen under large oaks, and a small park behind the house.
We stayed in Brunswick for a week of fishing, and this was a perfect little house for our stay.

Perfect place for an anniversary getaway! Centrally located between St. Simon and Jekyll Islands, lending many opportunities to visit both areas. Super cute house and perfect for what we needed, a jumping off point for beaches, visiting family and a day trip in to Savannah. Close enough to jump over to Jekyll Island each morning to see the sunrise. Nice area to walk our dog, Milly. Amazing Ms. Pac-Man game for the kids. Pool is not located on-site and we didn’t venture over to try it out. Neighborhood looked a little concerning in areas but we had no trouble. Ran in to the neighbor across the street while packing up and he gave us some history of the area.

Southern charm
This is a cute little cottage in a beautiful town. All the locals are so sweet. True Southern Hospitality everywhere you go. Jerry was great to work with and answers all questions quickly by text or phone call, whatever you need! The Yellow Deli is just a short walk away and quite a gem. Delicious waffles that they grind their home grown grain to make! Historic downtown Brunswick is full of quaint shops and just a short drive to the beautiful islands. We will for sure be back for another visit.

Beautiful home!
We chose to stay in Brunswick as we were spending most of our time on Jekyll Island. This house is adorable! The bedding is high quality with great furnishings overall, exactly as we expected from the pictures. We will definitely stay here again! Whomever cleans this property does an excellent job, not a speck of dust to be found. The only thing is there is no microwave but that didn't bother us as weren't cooking or heating up any leftovers during our stay.
