We bid on a Duluth Experience package that included many different venues. Since there were 4 adults, this property had the size, bedrooms and bathrooms in a location very convenient to Duluth. Would be great for families.

This home was perfect for our family of seven. There was plenty of room. The game room was our favorite part. The house is also one of the cleanest VRBOs we've stayed in.

The house was clean and beautiful with comfortable sleeping. We could not use the TV … and the internet was not working for part of our stay. It was not easy to communicate with the hosts. Online communication was not user friendly..at least not for seniors. We did not receive our check in information until 12:04 am on our arrival date and we were getting worried. We did have a nice get away.

Very nice split level home in a cute neighborhood. There is a game room and lounging area on the main floor. Two bedrooms and a bathroom, along with a living room area on the lower level. Two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and living room on the upper level. There is a deck off the dining room that looks out into a nice undeveloped area.
There was a three ring binder describing the roles of the property, along with area highlights and restaurant suggestions.
The owners were responsive and timely in those responses.
We would stay here again if we were in the area.

Very nice, with lots of space! Although it's a little ways from downtown Duluth, it was a quick drive. Would definitely stay here again with a group of people.

This was our second stay at this house on a family ski weekend at Spirit Mountain. It's a great location for that, just a couple of miles from the ski area. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us, and the addition of a new game room was great. The kids (ages 5 - 14) loved the place and want to come again next year. The adults like everything about it, and it was a great value. Thanks Kelly

Great property with many things to do, pool, Foosball table, dome hockey and board games. We were able to check out other areas of Duluth because of the location.

The property was very nice, clean, & located in a great location. Did some hiking & sightseeing around Duluth as well as enjoyed the great layout in the home for family game nights. Saw some fall color changes and beautiful scenery. Kelly was very prompt/responsive whenever I reached out to her. We would stay there again and had a great time!

Everything was perfect. Well worth it. Only problem was we were only there to rest our heads. Our main reason we were in the area kept us away from rental so very little time was spent there. Thanks for a great weekend near Duluth

We had an absolute blast! I wanted a chill games and fun weekend, that what I got! The couches there are the absolute best. I couldn't get over it lol. I had 5 people and it fit us perfectly. I would definitely book again! Also suggest to book here😍. The house is wonderful and not far from much if you decide to go out. Plus the couches 😍, so wonderful😎.

We stayed Monday-Wednesday. We were supposed to leave on Thursday, but a snow storm was moving in. We found the kitchen had what we needed. The couches were comfortable. We watched Prime. It was close for tris into Duluth and the north shore. There were 4 of us so we each had our own bedroom and just 2 people share a bathroom. It was very relaxing!

Our group of 5 (plus infant baby) had planned a snowmobiling trip to Duluth traveling from 5 hours away. Literally on our drive up, we received a cancellation notification from our original booking. Needless to say, we were very frustrated and scrambled to find a new place fast and this place was perfect. Very spacious and clean, our group fit perfectly and had plenty of room for baby. Was everything we were looking for and had excellent communication from the owner. Would highly recommend!

We stayed at the Kingsbury Creek home in mid-January 2023 for 3-day family ski weekend. There were 4 adults and 4 kids, ages 4 - 13. Two grandparents stayed at a nearby motel but spent evenings with the family at the house. The location was great! Just a few minutes drive to Spirit Mountain. The house was near-perfect for us, with plenty of room for all. The house is quite new, well furnished, and very clean. The two living rooms, upstairs and down worked well; the kids used the downstairs, and loved the air hockey and foosball tables, and the adults used the upstairs. The kitchen had everything we needed and the dining table easily seats 8 or more. Everyone was very enthusiastic about the house and its proximity to the ski hill. The price was very reasonable. We would certainly stay here on any future trips of this kind, and we highly recommend the place! Thanks Kelly!

We stayed here with our family of seven. The Duluth area had received a foot plus of snow right before our scheduled arrival, and we were very appreciative the snow had been removed, both in the driveway and also the sidewalks. Good communication as well. A ways out from canal park, but the cost reflected the location. Nice place.

Three other colleagues and I met for several days of professional development. Perfect size, very clean, just what we needed. Thanks!

It met our needs nicely enough and it is convenient to Duluth; but I could not say anything about it felt like home. Everything has a rule attached to it. I guess previous guests failed the 'use common sense test' so everything has rules attached. The most inconvenient was the temperature control system. It is, according to the rules. regulated closely so DO NOT OPEN ANY WINDOWS. We were there in the summer. There is only one ductless AC unit for the whole house and it is in the upstairs living room. Once you close a bedroom door on either level and you can't open the windows it becomes an insufferable hot box. We found 1 floor fan for the entire house of 4 bedrooms. There was a ceiling fan in the master bedroom, but all it does is move hot air around the room. Needless to say the nights were uncomfortably warm in early August. We also could not find any bedding to allow someone to use the downstairs couch as a bed, although it was clearly the intention. For some reason there was no outdoor furniture on either the upper or lower decks. The nights were pleasant and we wanted to sit outside, but this was not an option without dragging indoor furniture outside and that just felt like a major rule infraction not worth the risk. In all honesty we were at the property for two nights and spent a grand total of about 19 hours there, 16 of which we were asleep. It met our needs and was a less expensive option than hotel rooms for all of us. Be advised it has no laundry facilities available to guests. Not an issue for us, but if you want to stay longer be aware of this. (We suspect there is a washer and dryer on sight, but it is locked in the garage or behind a locked door in the lower level.) It was clean.

Very nice house
My husband and I stayed along with our three adult children, son-in-law and granddaughter. It was nice and quiet and we enjoyed the proximity to Duluth. Furnished very nicely and it was good to have access to TV and streaming services.

Honey, Quiet Basecamp
This property was just what our family needed. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the house was great. We spent most of the day up the Northshore hiking, rock picking and admiring Lake Superior.
This house had everything we needed except a small sauce pan and some patio furniture on the deck.
We would definitely stay again. We will just bring a sauce pan and some lawn chairs ❤️

Kendra’s graduation from UMD.
This was the perfect place for the grandparents, parents and siblings of the graduate to be located. We enjoyed Duluth and we appreciated a place for us all to be together.

Nice property but…
Comfortable home with responsive owners. However all of the rules with the associated monetary fees were not very welcoming. The feel of the house was “don’t….” versus the usual welcome we are used to.
Kitchen was stocked but missing basics, like a spatula. This house does not have a washer and dryer available which we missed.

Nice Getaway
Good communication with owner. We found the kitchen to be lacking in cooking utensils, could have used more hand towels/bath towels. The owner brought us a couple of cooking necessities, spoons, etc. and two washcloths. We let her know the cleaning company could have done a better job for her. The recycle was full and the garbage container had been used for the overflow recycle from the previous guests, we let the owner know so we did not have to pay their fee for excessive garbage. Overall a good experience.

Wonderful weekend in Duluth
Property was very large and accommodated my party of 6. We enjoyed playing games, hanging out, cooking meals and seeing Bentleyville!

Clean & convenient…but
The property met our expectations for convenience & location to Duluth. And, it was clean and nicely decorated. We were disappointed the bathrooms were not stocked with more than a roll or two of TP, or a few extra towels. The towels were basic, not plush. And, we felt the kitchen was missing or short on cooking pans, pots, and cleaning tools such as wash cloths or scrubbers. There were not extra plates, glasses, or cups so we had to run the dishwasher after every meal…and we were only six adults.

Some good points and some problems...
The home is a well-kept, 4 bedroom. It was clean and everything worked.
However, it is not far from a railroad yard that works during the night and a relatively busy highway. Our biggest problem was the requirement that windows not be opened at any time. It would also have helped if we would have known from the start that smoking is not allowed on the property - not just not allowed indoors. If we'd known these restrictions up-front, we would not have booked this property.
If those are not a problem, it's affordable with quick access to Duluth.

Motorcycle ride
The location was outstanding, quiet. House allows for everyone to have space. Would look at allowing any smokers to at least stay outside and not have to stand in the street. Just offer a place outside and tell them to make sure to pick up their butts. We were on motorcycles so smoking in the vehicle did not work.

Great getaway
Convenient location for Duluth, MN with all the comforts of home! Easy check in process and no issues during our stay. Definitely recommend!
