Property is a RV Park with 4 cottages. Older fixtures but clean and tidy. Friendly staff, willing to help. TV doesn't have cable and I would think it should be provided. You have to stream shows thru ROKU and Tengo Internet which was a pain. The best part was a staff member who helped us get the TV going the second night we were there, she's a 5star employee! I doubt we'll be back.

The tiny house is amazing! However I wish we would’ve known the sofa is a sofa bed too! The place was quiet but people friendly. Loved it & would go back again!!

Cute, comfortable accommodation, friendly visitors in the RV Park and felt safe which was important. Local cat adopted me during my stay so I also had a friendly, furry visitor to keep me company. I would stay here again.

This was such a fun vacation. We had the best time, ever! The place was perfect and had a huge backyard where we put up a volleyball court. The area was nice and clean and the pool was awesome! We will definitely come again.

My stay was difficult to check in. I waited for over an hour to get a code to the cottage and had a heck of a time getting in. Once in, things didn’t look quite clean so I wasn’t sure what to use. Front desk was very nice, but it was a bit of a hassle. Laundry was an ordeal as well. We love Pismo Sands and will stay again, but this experience wasn’t the best.

For a tiny little cabin, this place has some function. Everything you need for a few days away from home. Our family of 4 had a good stay. The cabin does need some work (missing knobs, cracked door frame, missing TV remote), but it was a pleasant stay. The RV park was nice, well kept and had some good ammenities.

We had a great stay! The cabin is very clean and the property is well kept. Christina the property manager was very responsive and kind. The crew on-site are also wonderful. We will definitely be back. Thank you for having us!

We simply made a wrong choice. The cabin was way too small, not very clean. The carpet is stained, lots of small damages throughout show lack of pride in ownership. Missing knobs, damaged trims. The bedding was nice, but the mattresses are awful. Only 4 towels for two adults for 5 nights. Towers stay wet, no place to dry them. We left a day early.

Great for family with kids. The loft area was a fun novelty for the kiddos. Perfect home base for our costal adventures during the day. Enjoyed our stay. Would stay here again!

We were not provided any combinations for the gate or the unit prior to arrival. The bathroom, bedroom and kitchen could not be any smaller. The bed has about 2 inches till the wall. The furnace is loud and very annoying all night. The toilet is right across from refrigerator and behind the door. There was no screen door and the shower door has been replaced with a curtain.

We arrived earlier than the check in time, and we thought we’d have to wait somewhere else. We were permitted to swim and use the recreation room while we waited for the cottage to be cleaned. Our two older boys enjoyed playing ping pong, basketball game and shuffle board(outside), and our littles loved the outdoor pool, puzzles (inside), blocked, books and toys (recreation room). The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, there’s a grill outside with grilling utensils inside. (We did not use because we didn’t know about it.) I would suggest going to Costco in Santa Maria or SLO and buy groceries. (Steaks would be perfect to grill.) The fridge is a perfect size for any family. The loft above was perfect for our littles to play in. Our oldest used it to work and sleep. It was a perfect place for our family to stay. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. We will definitely be back!

Sweet Getaway
We all enjoyed our stay, our teens enjoyed the cottage and pool, Id like to keep this positive, but one tip would be if you add twin size mattresses to the upper sleeping quarters it would be perfect. 😊

Fantastic place to stay
We loved our stay here. The property was just as pictured and the tv park was great for our littles. We had a blast at the pool and the playground. The location was convenient to Pismo beach but didn’t feel as loud or busy as Pismo beach. The property manager was awesome! She was kind and helpful and super friendly. We would stay here again.

Pros and cons.....
We had a nice stay in the area and were out and about most of the time. We were disappointed when we arrived to find dirty linens on the porch, a broken kitchen faucet and unclean coffee maker with left over grounds from the previous renter, ewww. The place was not very clean and there were very limited items in the kitchen. There were 3 of us and there were only 3 bowls! The description said it sleeps 6, but I don't know where that would happen. Main room bed was very comfortable, but there were not enough blankets for the 3 of us. The hideaway couch really sleeps one, but could sleep 2 smaller children. The loft upstairs was cute, but no bed, mattresses or blankets so there was no way our daughter could sleep up there....seems like that would be a lot of fun for kids. The owner was very responsive regarding the broken kitchen faucet and we appreciated that. The pool and hot tub were really nice to have, the hot tub was great! All in all, we had a good stay & location is close to everything. The area was very quiet and the grassy yard was perfect for our dog.

Clean and comfortable house
We spend a nice weekend, the house was clean and it had everything that we needed. The neighbors were polite and quiet at night. It was better than to rent a hotel, my grandkids love it. Thank you so much for let us stay in the house.

Adorable tiny house
My family, including 3 kids ages 10, 6 and 6 along with our dog had a great stay at Pismo Sands. The house was clean and stocked as advertised. The RV park is beautifully taken care of. The kids had a blast at the pool and play ground. There is a large grassy area behind the house that was perfect for playing and letting the dog get some zoomies out.
The location is less than 10 minutes to pretty much everything.
If we end up on this part of the central coast again, we will be back.

Recap of our stay
The modular needed some attention. Windows are dirty, the shower door leaked, the kitchen needed a nice paring knife. The bed was comfortable however. The blinds on all the windows need repairs.
Soaps in bathroom useless. Toilet old. Probably give it a 5 or 6 out of ten. Needs some TLC.

Loved our stay
This has been the best stayed we had on our CA coast trip. The bungalow was very clean, the perfect size for our family of four. We did not cook, but if we had the kitchen had all the essentials. The RV park was very quiet, and the other guest were all very friendly. we will definately say here again.

Great but beware the sofa bed
We live locally, but needed a place to stay while our house was being fumigated for termites. We considered a hotel, but this sounded more homey. Our family of four with two teenagers, plus two small dogs, stayed three nights. The park itself has many nice and convenient amenities, including some for dogs, which we appreciated and are listed on their website. We were in Cottage 300. It accommodates up to six persons and is very similar to staying in an RV as far as size, sleeping areas, and privacy goes. It was very clean, had generous storage space, and was equipped with basic kitchen, bathroom, and linen supplies. We didn’t feel it was outdated, rather it was pretty cute and tastefully furnished. We did experience a few issues, all of which were minor nuisances, except the sofa bed mattress. It was really uncomfortable, beyond any sofa bed we’ve ever slept on. The office staff was polite and apologetic about it, and said we’re not the first to bring it up, though there was nothing they could do. We asked if we could be reimbursed for getting a mattress topper to leave with the cottage, but that couldn’t be guaranteed. We looked in a few area stores, but either they didn’t have the size we needed or were too expensive to risk not being reimbursed with having no further use for it. So after our stay, there was some sleep deprivation and body aches/soreness. Much less important, but feel it’s mentionable, is that the microwave was super loud. We had no idea they could be that noisy. Not a problem unless microwaving when someone’s trying to sleep. There were no ice cube trays, which just would have been nice to have, to avoid purchasing ice. The shower water is tepid at best, which they disclose, and only a small inconvenience to use the park showers if you want a hot one. There’s no bed in the loft, again which they disclose, so we brought a mattress from home. It would’ve been nice if there was some sort pad up there. The blinds had some broken pieces, but we loved the abundance of windows, as in such a small space, they made it so bright and airy. Overall for us, it was a good, fun stay and if we’re ever in a pinch to take a “forced vacation” (again, our house was being fumigated), we’d consider going back as long as the sofa bed was greatly improved!

Amazing Stay at cottage 300
My little family and I had an amazing 2 night stay at cottage 300. We will definitely be back again. The RV resort was nice and quiet but very active with people during the day! Thank you for an amazing 1st experience for our family trip.

Clean and Quiet Family Cottage Vacation
If you’ve ever heard the tune, “A Little Bit of Heaven,” then you will really appreciate the stay our family of three had at Pismo Sands RV Resort over Spring Break! The bungaloo cottage we reserved had the look of a “new home” arrival (clean and sanitary accommodations, comfort furnishings, loft for our 10 y.o son, up-to-date kitchenette (4-burner stove and oven, microwave, fridge and icebox, dishwasher, coffee maker), plenty of hot water, room temp and space heater, dining area table and chairs, front porch setee’, and outdoor barbeque. The family enjoyed the heated pool and warm jet spa – and our son played with nearby visiting children, on the “Pirates’ Ship” in the garden area – all with plenty of grass (our little puppy liked that!) and outdoor firepits for casual relaxation. Laundry facilities an free-WiFi Internet added to the amenities. All met with great hospitality from Kristina (greeting us with complimentary bottle of wine from area North Coast vintners!). We also liked the location to enjoy surf and sand venues at Pismo, Shell and Avila Beaches, together with a 15-minute drive to San Luis Obispo (one of the Twenty-One California Missions) as well as local wine tasting treats at the many coastal wineries! This is a place not to be missed when travelling the central California coast – Our family loved it!
