Easy spot for family or group. Some beds will only work for people who can climb a ladder! Very clean with thoughtful amenities.

This cabin was quaint and rustic yet so clean and comfortable!! A great hub to stay at when exploring the Keewenaw and so close to a couple beaches on Lake Superior. Would be perfect for a group of people and kids!

Great cozy cabin with large yard for kids and dog to run around in. The location was perfect for exploring and rock hunting!! Will stay again but will bring cozier blankets ❤️.

This rental was a good fit for our family with a nice cabin feel. Would recommend this rental and would stay again.

This was a last minute, one night rental. As such, I was concerned with timely communication with the host. I have to admit the hosts, Jason and Misty, were incredibly responsive. I never found myself waiting very long for responses to my concerns. They are also very proactive. As for the property, there was nothing I could complain about. It was clean and well stocked with necessities. It's not your typical rental given it's four bedroom, two of which are in lofts with ladders, and that it sleeps twenty. We had fun locating the beds and figuring out how they would accommodate twenty people; some were more queen size.

Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay at the rustic cabin. Had trouble with the gas grill and could not use as LP valve was stuck. Would recommend bringing extra blankets (the ones provided were quite thin and not soft). As listing states, it is rustic but had everything that was needed plus pool table a nice addition. Would recommend a few new skillets to cook with.

My family, including young children and our dog, and I enjoyed our stay at the Little Horn Lodge. The property provides a sense of "rustic comfort" and a great deal of privacy. We were close enough to both the ORV trails and a quick drive into the Hancock/Houghton area. We would certainly return for a stay in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Little Horn Lodge! Jason and Misty were easy to communicate with and provided everything we needed for our three night stay. The location was great, near McLain State Park and not far from downtown Houghton. We would stay here again!

The cabin is rustic, great space for relaxing with friends and family. We enjoyed the pool table and the set of bags, playing games at the large table and sitting on the deck in the morning sun. Great location to venture out to hikes, waterfalls and Lake Superior.

First time travelling with our dogs so it was a perfect place for them. A little bigger than what we needed for just 2 of us. Would be great for larger groups or families.

We enjoyed our stay here very much! It fit our needs perfectly for our rockhounding trip. It was my husband and I along with my sister and our 2 dogs. There is a nice big yard for the dogs. The cabin is rustic, which I liked and was clean and comfortable.Communication with hosts was great. We had a couple of questions and they always responded quickly. Check in was easy. We cooked a few meals and the kitchen had all the pans and utensils we needed. No complaints here!

Everything went great. Property management got back ahold of me to let me know everything I needed. Deer every morning when you wake up. The place was plenty big enough. Clean and remote location. Need to bring extra blankets for the stay.

This is perfect for a big group, hunters or snowmobilers. Great central location. A bit rustic and old but it worked.

We stayed at this cabin in the winter time. There were 12 of us. Ages 10 through 75+ a dog. There are four rooms. There are two lofts that each have beds for three. There’s a third room that has lofts for about eight people. And then there’s a room with a double bed. I like the set up. Bedrooms on either side of a large rec room with a pool table, TV and other games. There were a lot of really nice touches that made it easy to be there. Very quaint. Very rustic. Nice and warm. All the dishes you need. Nice, toaster, coffee maker, microwave. If it’s winter time, I recommend bringing a sleeping bag. They had very nice bedding, but I wished I had brought a warmer blanket. Close to state parks and hiking, cross country skiing, close to Lake Superior Beach. Super cute, cool and quaint cabin with lots of room for people. Misty and Jason were kind and helpful.

This was a great place to stay, plenty of room, games and entertainment inside if it were raining and the location was awesome for our excursions to the State Park, Calumet Waterworks and up to Copper Harbor. Beautiful drive along the water to get there. The owners were very helpful recommending places to go, very responsive. The cabin was very clean, huge bathroom!

We loved everything about the cabin, the location, just the overall experience. It did rain a few days that we were there but we kept busy with playing pool and board games. We did a fire one night and the clear night sky was beautiful. The stars were Soo bright. I’d definitely recommend this cabin to anyone and plan to stay again

This cabin is absolutely perfect if you want a peaceful quiet getaway in the woods. The property is close enough to the city that you can get anything you need, but far enough that it feels like you are in your own little world. Everything was clean, the check-in process was super easy, and the owners were very responsive. There is so much to do in the cabin if you like to stay in, and so much to do in the area if you like to hike, explore, etc. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Lots of sleeping options. Cabin has everything you need. Hosts are super nice and quick to respond to questions.
Only reason I didn’t give a five star review was because they had removed the air conditioning units and did not put screens in the windows, and it was quite warm while we were there. Also, the cabin could use a deep cleaning. It was clean enough as Cabins go, but there was a lot of dust on the mounted animals and cobwebs around in different places.
Overall a good experience with the cabin.

Want to first point out the positives of this cute cabin in the woods! The hosts were very friendly and helpful the entirety of the stay! Even helping us locate a tow truck company as the starter went out on our truck right before checking out! The location of the cabin is perfect for exploring the Keweenaw! I think with a few minor updates this cabin would really shine! The mattress in the master bedroom is not the best. There was a cleanliness/hygiene issue in the kitchen that was brought to the hosts attention upon arrival and unfortunately that kind of set the tone for the stay. A working TV in the master bedroom at a normal viewing point would be a great upgrade! The yard was not mowed and lots of weeds were grown up quite a bit. Needs some air freshener plug ins or something to help the smell! We still enjoyed our stay but not sure if we would stay again!

The property was pretty clean but could use a good cleaning. The bear mount looked like he had dandruff. Vacuum it once in awhile. Found place close to buy wood but we dragged a lot of dead stuff out of woods. Did see some deer couple times. Fire pit needs to be shoveled out grass was not cut for awhile it was long. Location was great. Cabin was big for 2 of us daughter came for couple days. We did enjoy our stay at cabin

Loved the spaciousness of the lodge, the built-in entertainment like the pool table and Starlink satellite. We didn’t have time to partake in a camp fire. Plenty of woods and yard for our pooch to run and explore; we are happy for the pet-friendly space. The only reason we gave one 4 star answer is because there was no microwave as mentioned on amenities. I also would suggest to have hard copies of the check-out procedure, television and thermostat usage directions. We would like to stay longer next time to enjoy all the area has to offer and will definitely look up this lodge again for future booking.

The cabin was spacious for us. Very clean. We loved the whole property. Property is nice and private yet close to town thaf you can go and grab anything you need. It was nice having a pool table and the corn hole right there to use if you wanted to just chillout for the day or in the evening. Also if your into the rock hunting there are two beaches that are within 10 minutes that are great for it! Hosts were easy fo communicate with and responded very quickly. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

This is a great house with plenty of room for our big group! Lots of privacy but just a short trip to town. Plenty to do with the age range of people we had. Host was very good at answering any questions quickly. I would highly recommend.

Conveniently located in the peninsula and so close to Lake Superior, but remote and private with a quiet road. The property had more than we needed and kept our two busy boys entertained. The beds slept great, property stayed surprisingly low in bug population, and we even had a bear visit and leave us morning tracks!

Comfortably accommodated a family party of eleven, age ranges 3 - 46. Plenty of beds and no one felt crowded! After driving twenty hours from NY, it was great to come, let ourselves in, and find everything prepared for our four-night stay in beautiful Upper Michigan. Thank you!

It might seem like an odd thing to rave about, but the water quality was fantastic. We typically bring drinking water, but the water there was great so no need.
Had a great time!

... and what we were looking for.
Absolutely perfect for our stay in the area and good communication with host. Very rustic and far enough off the beaten path to make you feel isolated. Probably perfect for large group of hiker/bikers/hunters that are looking for a base of operation - and that are prepared for camping. Town, trails, lake all within easy striking distance.
We plan a return trip for a small family get together in the future!
