About this house rental
7 B/R house (formerly a Bed & Breakfast) has been converted to whole house vacation rental (available starting this May). With covered outdoor kitchen, cold tub, and fire pits this is a great place to relax between hill country excursions. You will be 1 mile form a public boat ramp, 9 miles to tubing above or below the lake, 10 miles to Whitewater Amphitheater, 15 to Wimberley or Blanco, 30 to Schlitterbahn, 45 to Luckenbach, 48 to Fredericksburg, an hour to Austin or San Antonio, and much more.

Pictures do not do the lazy H justice. The property is absolutely gorgeous and the house is immaculate. I planned a weekend trip for my group of friends and it was honestly one of the best weekends ever. We went to a concert at whitewater and had a blast, zero trouble getting Ubers to and from. The house has several bedrooms, each with their own climate control and private bathrooms. The upstairs suite is spacious and cozy. We had a great time relaxing in the cold tub and hot tub. We cooked a steak dinner in the outdoor bar and kitchen area. The swings are so fun! The owners are very kind and communicative. 11/10 would recommend.

Perfect place to stay in Canyon Lake area. We have stayed in numerous places in the area. But this one was the best so far.

We had a blast. Place was just as described, loved the restrooms in each room. When there is a crowd not having to race to a restroom is always great. Hot tub, cold tub was great. Not far from the lake, we enjoyed our experience and plan on coming back for sure.

Our family of 13 people really enjoyed our stay at Lazy H Lodge. Everyone loved their rooms and all the space for group and individual time. The cold tub was cold but pleasant and the hot tub was relaxing. Both were used a lot. The barn space was amazing for our anniversary celebration. The owner was easy to work with and accommodating in all our needs. We are already planning our next vacation trip back. Highly recommend for a great getaway.

This is a great place for a group retreat. There are many outdoor areas to socialize, all rooms have their own bathroom. Big common area inside the house.

Rex and Kathy were the most amazing and accommodating hosts ever!! The property was really great for our group of 11 staying there primarily for the 2024 Eclipse. Several outdoor areas (hot tub, fire pit, covered porch, outdoor cooking spots) all afforded nice areas for us to gather. Oh, and the 12 person dining table … what a great indoor spot to gather for meals. Each room had it’s own bathroom, with was a real plus. Rex and Kathy guided us to two great towns within 30 minutes of the property, and we all enjoyed our visit to Blanco and Gruene. Both towns had many food and craft stores and the folks there were very hospitable. The 5-star review really doesn’t provide enough stars to give for this property, maybe 10-stars would be more appropriate.

Fantastic setup! We had a birthday party weekend for a family member and this home was the perfect setup for everyone. Every bedroom had a bathroom giving all family members the space they needed.
The property had a beautiful wooded area surrounding the home, giving a relaxing feeling of getting out and enjoying the outdoors.
The owner was in a neighboring house and very responsive! Again, Ideal for a large gathering.

I can't say enough about our trip! EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT! The accomodations were SPOT ON PERFECT! If you have a large group, this is the place you want.......7bed/7bath? Who does that???? And the deer? My mother was so overjoyed when we came back from the Shops in Wimberley. We counted at least 10 or more at the feeder on the property! Just a beautiful place. I promise you won't be disappointed. You can bet, we WILL return,.....Hopefully. Rex was super to work with. The deers come to feed twice daily. It's just a great place all around😁. I cant say enough about it. WE ALL LOVED IT& didn't want to leave. Loved the BIG table. It accomodated all of us playing games. Enjoy every minute, it ends too quick!

We had an EXCELLENT time at the Lazy H Lodge. The bedrooms and beds were nice, cool, and comfortable, each attached bathroom was clean, had hot water and high pressure showers, and more than enough towels and travel toiletries if you forgot something. The upstairs suite is HUGE with its own living room, kitchenette, bathroom, and walk-in closet. The indoor kitchen was well equipped for everything we needed, and the outdoor kitchen and barn gave us enough space to cook, play games, and watch movies. Just secluded enough off the main roads to enjoy nature and the wildlife, but also close enough to town to resupply anything we needed. And the owner and his pup Indy were just the kindest people who were ready to help with anything we needed. Definitely recommended, can't wait to come back next year.

We stayed here with a group of friends, it was nice to have so many bedrooms and each with a private bath. This place has lots to do - fire pit, hot tub, space for outdoor games, large dining table for meals and indoor games. It has a kitchen on the main and a kitchenette upstairs, and having that extra fridge really helped! The hosts are very helpful and responsive. We've been doing this annual couples' getaway for a number of years, this place will be high on the list to come back to.

We were a group of 16 and we had so much room in this spacious house. Each of the seven
Rustic themed rooms had their own full bathroom. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed and very clean! We will definitely be back!!

Our group of 16 really enjoyed this property...it was very spacious and semi-secluded. The kids enjoyed playing outdoors (tag, hide-n-seek, sports, hot tub and redneck pool) and had so much fun with all of the space to roam. We all enjoyed the large dining table for meals and nightly boardgames. The beds were very comfortable. Owners were very nice and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay!!

Everything was amazing ! Host was super friendly and responded in a timely manner . Home was perfect for my big family of 18 people . We will definitely be returning for the next family reunion . Thank you for everything again ! 😀

Paradise, just enough privacy for our large family gathering. We especially enjoyed the property amenities. The hot tub and cold dunk was much enjoyed by all. Rex was informative and accommodating. Every kitchen gadget, toiletry, and seating areas you could possibly need. We appreciated the wildlife observation areas and camp atmosphere too. I would characterize the weekend as just enough relaxation.

Spent 4 nights with family celebrating my husband’s birthday and Easter. Was perfect 👍🏻Not fancy but an authentic hill country home with plenty of space and entertaining areas for 16 of us - plus a few extra day guests. Rex was very responsive and most helpful with the one small issue we had. Can’t ask for more than that in a host. Would return again.

Perfect spot for 7 girlfriends who gathered for a weekend retreat. The location and amenities were just what we wanted for our time together. We enjoyed the fireplace and the hot tub. The kitchen was very well stocked and accommodated multiple cooks. Beds were comfortable. We will be back!

My family (11 adults) loved staying at the Lazy H! A laid back and relaxing location with plenty of features on the property. We all loved watching the deer feeding 2x daily. Took advantage of the jacuzzi and the activity building. They were great hosts, always available if needed. We took boats on the lake, ziplined in Wimberly, and hiked, so there are plenty of things to do when not relaxing or playing family games in the large living room. Definitely recommend!

This is a GREAT place for a large gathering! Plenty of room for everyone to be together and plenty of space to get away from the crowd if you need to. Kitchen was very well equipped, house was clean and super comfortable. Host was immediately responsive. We had a great time with family for my husband's birthday.

Great Space for all to have their own rooms and bathrooms, the outdoor spaces were awesome! We really enjoyed the pavillon and the hot tub! The beds were comfortable and the owners are very responsive and helpful! We look forward to renting here again!

Family vacation 💙.
Took our family. My three sons and their wives. Their children six grandchildren in total. We really enjoyed the house there was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the outside Pavilion we took a fuse of the outside kitchen every morning for breakfast. Kids were able to run and play there is plenty of room for everyone. It was quite the experience we saw Wild game every morning and evening the children all enjoyed. We definitely would go back and recommend this to anyone. Rex and Kathy were great hosts. Helpful for anything that we needed.

One of a kind find!!
The house was clean and comfortable! The individual rooms & bathrooms-amazing! The property is so fun! Much to see and do right there! Was worried about not being on the water-the pool delivered!!! Rex & Kathy have built something amazing!! We will be back!!

Perfect for our group of 6 couples
We had a wonderful weekend at Rex's place.
There's an apartment-like upstairs area with a king bed, private bathroom, and a small kitchen with a fridge, coffeemaker, etc. Each of the bedrooms downstairs all had private entrances and private full bathrooms. Each room has its own a/c unit. We appreciated the giant table that seated all of us! Kitchen was well-stocked. Wish we could've taken advantage of the outdoor areas - they've got a really cute place. It was just too cold the weekend we were there. Hoping we can go back for our next retreat!
