NATURE GETAWAY
Next to the waters edge at the end of a wooded trail, sits our elegant three bedroom log home called Blake Beach House (one of three cottages available to rent on the property-rent all three for a perfect for extended family vacation). It soaks the breeze off Lake Paradise and rests in peace next to the quiet Stony Point Nature Preserve. This Preserve is a nature lovers paradise with a trail system that helps you hike it all.
A stone's throw lands you in the Carp Lake Township Park-a historic park nestled in the forest. It's tiny, but the swing set by the water is all you need to enjoy the serenity.
Moving closer to the cabin you'll find the dock with lots of water crafts to explore the lake with. Bring a pole, fish off the dock, or take a kayak out for a time you'll never forget.
Now inside the cabin, you'll meet the comfort of white-knotty pine everywhere. Pine adds a rustic and cozy ambience that can't be beat while reading by the stone fireplace. Vintage and homemade decorations add a dash of local charm.
Guests love drinking coffee in the sunroom overlooking the lake. You'll find a kitchen with modern appliances making homemade meals a pleasure. Updated bathrooms with elegant tile and modern fixtures. And comfortable beds with great views.
There's no need to go to the park when you can live on one. Our guests always feel right at home here.
Please note we have two other cottages available on the property. Please see VRBO # 2108953 and 2131656 both sleep up to 4 guests.

We had a great time at this property. The lake was beautiful. We enjoyed kayaking, paddleboarding, and even got a ride on a pontoon boat from a friendly neighbor. We took a daytrips to several places and found this location to be perfect. The house had quite a few bugs, and the washer and dryer had a fairly steep learning curve. Other than that, no complaints.

The Blake house was perfect! We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family to gather! Thank you!

This place was great for our family. Lots of things to do on the property - games, water toys, hiking. It's a quiet spot for enjoying the outdoors. The house was well equipped and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay, was very close to what we wanted to see but very quiet at the property. We would stay again.

The house was nice.wish there was another shower on the main floor without going into bedroom

Beautiful cottage on a little corner of the lake. Far enough away that you were really away, but only 10-15 minutes from the Mackinac City. Easily fit everyone in the family. Very calm, very peaceful. Hope to go back someday. (Really, I have to. I never got a chance to ride on the rails to trails path, go kayaking further out on the lake, figure out how to stand on the paddleboard, explore more of the paths in the nature preserve, read more about the history of the lake and the area, and sign the guest book. Ran out of time)

The host was beyond amazing. I had to change our dates due to a work conflict and she was very understanding. I received detailed instructions about everything upon arrival. Our cabin was phenomenal !! So well stocked with all the essentials ! Every utensil, from tongs to burger flippers, lots of dish ware and bowls we were thrilled of how wonderful this kitchen was. This cabin was super cozy with different sitting arrangements for a more intimate conversations. And a large table for all of us. It was a great experience and we were more than satisfied

A very cozy clean cabin. I enjoyed drinking my coffee under a blanket while looking out over the lake.

Very relaxing and quiet location. The kids loved playing in the water and the outdoor games. The cabin is very comfy and has everything you need.

Our getaway to Levering MI was great! The cabin met all our needs and was exceptionally clean. The area was so peaceful. I would recommend a stay here to everyone.

The place was exactly as pictured, and the large kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. The view is beautiful as well and the many kayaks and paddle boards allowed us to take advantage of the location. The proximity to Mackinaw Island and the Mackinaw bridge made this an awesome location. With any luck, we’ll be back.

We enjoyed four nights here. Everything was perfect and it had all the amenities. Booking was a snap and owner was very easy to contact. We will definitely be back!

Property and cottage were wonderful. The property manager responded immediately to any questions. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a wonderful space for our family vacation. Comfortable, ample space, use of kayaks, row boat and paddle boards a big plus. Mackinaw City is really close and offers shopping, brewery’s and restaurants. We did a day trip to both Mackinac Island and into the UP to visit Tahquamenon Falls. There’s something for everyone.

Beautiful sunsets on this quiet lake. The well appointed kitchen made meal prep for our group a breeze. We would love to visit again!

The location of the cabin was excellent, right on the shores of Carp Lake and just 18 minutes south of Mackinaw City. We especially loved using the included paddle boards and kayaks! We also enjoyed some wonderful star gazing with the smokeless solo stove and provided wood.
The cabin itself was also superb with updated finishings, a full working kitchen, and an outdoor charcoal grill. Don't miss out on this incredible MI cabin!

Our family had a wonderful stay at the cabin! Enjoyed the paddle boat and kayak and the beautiful sunsets. Location ideal for taking in many points of interest in Northern Michigan!

Beautiful and cozy cottage on the lake with all the amenities you could need. Well maintained and clean. About 15 minutes to the Mackinac bridge and ferry! Lake water was seasonably warm with beautiful evening sunsets. Would definitely stay again!

Very clean. Roomy for 4 adults and 2 children. Great location. Close to Mackinaw City. Highly recommend this cabin if staying in the Mackinaw area.

Tastefully updated lake home with easy lake access.

Great experience, no complaints - only two recommendations. Put your heavy sleeper in the bed off the kitchen (in colder months) - the bed is on the other side of the wall from the furnace and it is a bit noisy when kicking on and off. Make sure that the damper on the fireplace is open, before starting a fire; we are not too familiar with how fireplaces operate and traveled the learning curve...lol. Outside of those recommendations, the beds, pillows, blankets and throws were all so comfortable and cozy. We spent a lot of time socializ8ng with one another and disconnecting from excessive technology. That being said, the internet speed was crazy fast! Highly recommend this cabin! Also, watch your step coming through the front door! There was a note/warning; but I didn't fully understand what I read, until I nearly fell into the cabin - this was totally my fault...there is a small step down, through the front door. Beautiful property, even with the rainy weekend we had.

Great little cabin. Cozy. Convenient location. Would stay here again.

Although the weather was rainy and we were unable to take advantage of the outside amenities, we enjoyed our stay and the easy access to Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island.

Lovely, well appointed cabin on a relaxing lake. Thank you for a great stay!

Great place
Great place for a family to relax. We had the larger cottage, but there are two other cottages that would be ideal for extended families to be together yet have some separation. Everything you need to enjoy northern Michigan

So cute!
6 of us came for a Bachelorette and it was perfect. From the amount of beds, bathrooms, and overall space, we couldn’t have asked for more.

Great memories
We visited with our parents and went to Mackinaw Island, Casino, and Lumberjack show. Great memories with our parents! The house we stayed in was very nice and clean and we enjoyed looking out at the lake in the morning and evenings. Very relaxing. I forgot to ask when booking, but there are a few step ups to go from one room to the other that made it a little difficult for mobility walkers, but everything else was great and we enjoyed our stay.

Great cabin. Very peacefully and quiet.
Family and I spent a few day at the cabin. Had a wonderful experience. The property has all the conveniences of modern life and everything you need to experience the lake. The check in and out process was very easy and Kelly the property manager was excellent to deal with. Could not ask for a better place to spend a few days on the lake.
4.9
The lake is very accessible with the paddle boards and kayaks. This was a great spot for the whole family.

A bit smaller than expected but very clean with good amenities such as kayaks and paddle boat on a very nice lake.

My wife and I spent 6 nights at the cottage and we had a great time. It is exactly as pictured and spotlessly clean with all of the comforts of home you need. It was a great launching point for days spent touring Mac, UP, Petoskey and more. The weather did not permit use of the water toys but they looked to be in great condition.

Simply AMAZING!
From the time we arrived, until the time we left nothing but great! Property manager, Kelly, was always a text away from answering any questions we had! Response time was on point! Place was so clean, up to date, and spacious! Location was great, even though we came down the first night on the dirt road! But no worries we drive a Jeep! Enough firewood provided and when we ran out they came and replenished! Very quiet neighborhood! And the stars at night were unbelievable in the backyard! Met some great people staying in the other two smaller cabins. And the screen doors when the would make noise opening and closing brought back childhood memories of the great time! The only negative we only caught four fish from the lake and the last night we found the utensils in the island drawer (both our fault) 😂😂 can’t wait to book next year and bring all our kids and grandkids to spend a week or more!

Cottage is super cute, very clean, and layout is great! Jetted tub in Master didn’t work but other than that, it was nice!
