The location is super convenient and the condo met our needs for a ski weekend. The condo was generally clean but there were some random food items in the cupboards (beyond the normal things you find like oil or spices - like a half eaten bag of chips) and some of the dishes were dirty when we took them out so we just washed again before using. Pillows were also pretty lumpy. But all in all - minor annoyances and location makes it worth it.

We were very happy with our accommodations. The condo was perfect and well equipped with everything we needed.

Location was excellent. We had 2 forks, 3 spoons, dozens of knives and no can opener. The Black & Decker toaster oven didn’t cut it. Why two small coffee makers? Two rolls of toilet paper. REALLY? Television was not usable because we’re not subscribed to Netflix or any other streaming avenue. Could not find a phone number to call VRBO owner. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN! Other than that it was great ( SARCASM)!!!

This efficiency was just perfect for 2 of us to do the slopes by day and chill out by night.

This place had everything we needed and the pool access was awesome. My only suggestion would be some more forks;) I’m sure they’ve disappeared over time!

Skiing was great. The room was only OK. Elevators were broken & fire alarm was going off when we arrived.

It was great
The shower broke, but still great.

Cancellations denied
Everything was good except not being allowed to cancel due to the lack of snow at the resort.

Decent studio at the base
This is a decent compact studio at the base of the mountain. It's a small place, but that's what I expected and the price was good. It was perfect for me and my wife as a quick ski getaway. We don't spend much time in the room and that is why it worked so well.
It was very clean and seemed to have most everything we needed. TV was nice and the fireplace was cool. I only gave it 4 stars as I think there is room for improvement. There is now a small coffee maker, but I would suggest a Keurig as it's easier to clean and you don't need to bring your own coffee filters etc. The couch situation also needs to be addressed as it's seen better days. I realize I'm nit picking here, but I think this place really has so much more potential. A little more attention to a few small details and this place would be great.
I liked the Deli/Market downstairs. Very convenient and it saved us as we forget a couple of items. They also gave us ice for our post-ski cocktails. Overall, I enjoyed our stay and would consider this unit again.

Well, 1st off we stay in 3-4 VRBO's a year and almost always have great experiences and have a very high renter rating.
My wife & 2 boys rented this condo for President's Day weekend and at that time of booking it was advertised as sleeping 4. Well the pullout sofa was broken and we only received 2 pillows.....since we departed 4 days ago it is now advertised as "sleeps 2." When we checked in we arrived to a broken & chirping CO2 detector which was never fixed during our stay and with a wood burning fireplace in the condo this is very dangerous. One of the things that differentiates Purgatory is it's real wood burning fireplaces. When we booked it advertised a coffee maker in the room, when asked we were told it was a a drip coffee maker......there was no coffee maker in the unit. We asked if there was a hairdryer and was told no....turns out there is one on the bathroom mirror!!!! Has the manager/owner ever been to this property? There is no dishwasher due to the studio size, but all they had to clean dishes was a used sponge....GROSS! You would think during Covid a package of new sponges is a no brainer in a unit without a dishwasher. Speaking of Covid, after returning home 2 of my 4 family members tested positive for Covid....no telling where we actually got it but a unit with no dishwasher and no clean cleaning supplies easily could have been the cause. Finally, we asked for partial refund since my children had to sleep on the floor and she did offer a full refund the morning after we arrived, however, the area was experiencing a HEAVY WINTER STORM (2-3 feet over 3 days) and it was President's Day Weekend so no place to go. You would think after so many disasters, none of which were fixed while we were there at least $100 off per night would be offered......nope! With out the worst VRBO we have ever stayed in......a lot of other nice places in Purg....don't make the mistake we did!
