Our group of 4 adults, and 6 children loved our stay in this house! The rooms were much bigger/better than pictures! The great room/kitchen/dining room was the best space for both families to connect, play games, and eat! We loved the second living space downstairs with separate laundry room and kitchen! The game room was a hit on New Year’s Eve, and golf carts were a nice feature to get to the pool and around the complex with ease!

Only thing that was missing from the listing was a floor plan, to better prepare for room arrangements. We did made it work once we got there without knowing how the floors were set up.

The house was nice and clean. Loved having two golf carts for our crew. normally with our crew we have to determine who has the one King bed, but with your house the kings were plentiful which made it nice to have the comfort of a king bed for multiple people. The game room was very nice and used often, which we probably stayed up to late playing instead of sleeping, but good times were had by one and all.

This was our first family vacation since 2012. The community was quiet, the owners, guest friendly. The Blue Escape is an amazing home! We brought things from home (stock pot, my special sharp knife, spices) because we weren't sure, but the inclusion is underestimated. The stock pot was needed and there aren't any sweet spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger), but plenty of others. A Golf Cart community across from a grocery store is the ultimate vacation for many reasons.We plan to make this an annual event!

My family of 18 stayed here there was plenty of space the house was clean having the golf carts made it so convenient when traveling around the neighborhood to go to the pools, parks, and also to the beach so u don’t have to put alot of sand in your cars the kids stayed entertained with the game room and bikes she had so many toys for the kids to play with at the beach and also a lot of beach chairs so we didn’t have to rent chairs when we got to the beach my family can’t wait until our beach trip next year so we can return to this location

This house made my vacation stay just so much better. From fine remodeling to comfort and cozy stay. House was massive with everything made to attention. The owner was really easy to work with through the process. Rental came with majority of cooking/ eating supplies so I was able to cook instead of buying out every day. Obviously towels and sheets were provided but its the small things like tide pods, garbage bags, varieties of coffee and chromecasts that were also provided that just made the stay worry free. Fun gameroom and great furnishings. The side entrance was within 50 feet of the house to avoid the main entrance.

We found pictures and listing information a good representation of property, however, beach access was much further from property than we thought presented. Property contact was very accommodating and readily available. Some of the furniture seating was tired and some tv controls confusing but we managed and enjoyed our stay. Not enough seating for groups of 12 to 20 people at a time. Given the cleaning fees charged some of the guest clean up requirements at check out seemed a little excessive. Overall, great for family reunions with grands. Game room and golf carts a hit. Thank you.

This VRBO ranked within the top two places we've ever stayed! Everything was just perfect. The layout of the home was really neat. The game room and golf carts provided for tons of fun for the littles and the teens. The kitchen was well stocked, which is a big plus for our big group. The property gave us access to pickleball, basketball, multiple swimming pools, a playground, private beach access--I could go on and on. We had such a great time here!

We celebrated my dad’s 70th birthday here and had a wonderful time. We had 7 adults and 4 kids and plenty of room! Couldn’t have asked for anything better. House was clean and spacious. Tracy is an excellent host. We were so impressed with the area and Oceanside Village as well as the house layout that we put in an offer on a similar house in the neighborhood. Perfect place for families. Love that they have the bikes and golf carts. We were able to all go out riding together and go to the beach. Pools are great and playground for kids. Enjoy!

Blue Escape
This house is absolutely amazing and so perfect for large families. I could not say one bad thing about this house it’s perfect!! It’s nice having two living spaces in the house so if you have older kids they can have the whole downstairs apartment theme. Highly recommend and if we decide to go back to surf side we will def be renting this house again. And the owner Tracy is beyond amazing and helpful. She gave us plenty of great suggestions and was so friendly and great to talk to.

This was a great house and vacation spot for my family. There was 17 of us that stayed for a week. On a few days my nieces stayed with us also and we all slept very comfortablely. It was a great community and walk to the beach.

Spacious Accommodations
We really enjoyed the space that the house had. We had 11 people there for a week and then 4 couples for 2 more weeks. In all we were there for 4 weeks. There was plenty of room for all the children to play. Having two kitchens and 2 sets of washers and dryers made it easy to have a large crowd. The WiFi connection was great - in fact the best we have ever experienced at Oceanside Village (and we had a tremendous amount of WiFi equipment - from laptops, to IPads, ITouches, Kindles, and Apple TV). Bermuda Bay is a very quiet part of the village. The short walk to the pools was easy on the kids. I have to say we adults spent a large part of our time on the large front porch. The only issues we had were that a few of the appliance items needed replacing - electric can opener, cork remover, hand vacuum. The lighting for the front steps was very poor and it was extremely difficult at night to go up or down the stairs. However, all that aside, we highly recommend Out Of The Blue and would be interested in renting it again.
Gwen, what are the other properties do you have in Surfside Beach? We are looking at renting in 2016 for two months 3/12/16 to 5/14/16. We don't need a place as quite as large as 106 Georges Bay. Unless of course there was a great deal possible.

Great house with all the amenities to make your vacation the best!
We used the house for a short senior staff retreat, and could not be more pleased. The staff is looking forward to returning for next year's retreat. There was more than enough room for the 8 of us. The game room provided some much needed team building and relaxation during a couple of cool rainy days. Oceanside Village is also the best place to stay in Surfside Beach, its a great family friendly environment!

The Foster, Strader, and Kimrey Families
Our party consisted of nine adults. Upon our arrival, we found a gift bag containing beach towels, a bottle of wine, and coupons from the Covers...what an awesome welcoming gesture! The house was impeccably decorated, and pictures do not do it justice. It was immaculately clean with every convenience of home. The kitchens were well equipped with needed appliances, dinnerware, flatware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils. The rooms were spacious. The bedrooms each had their own flat screen television as did the living areas on both the first and second levels of the home. Each full bathroom had its own hair dryer. The first and second levels each had a washing machine and a dryer. The Covers provide two golf carts which is especially nice when traveling with a large group; otherwise, an extra golf cart would have to be rented. It is evident that much thought has gone into making this home comfortable for its guests. Nothing was left to chance. Everything from paper towels, hand soap, dish and laundry detergent, and toilet paper was provided. This was an extra nice touch. The bottom level of the home had a flat screen television, tiki bar, electric dart board, pool table, and foosball table which is especially nice for the men and young people in your group. While our party didn't have children, there are also bikes for riders of every age. The closet on this level had beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. The checklists for arrival and departure were clear and easy to follow. This home is by far the nicest rental house we have ever had at the beach. All of the little extras make it well worth the few extra dollars we paid for a similar home the previous summer. We will definitely be renting from the Covers again.

Great 1st visit to Myrtle Beach!
The house is fully deserving of the great reviews it has received. The pictures are completely accurate and it really felt like being at home especially after a long drive. The golf carts made access to the pools, beach, tennis courts, etc. convenient and fun. We had a few days of some rain so the game room came in handy as well as the indoor pool. It's situated in a great location with easy access to shopping, restaurants, golf, etc. The house is well maintained, clean and stocked with kitchen utensils and items for use. It made packing easier knowing there wasn't much needed to take with us. We highly recommend staying at 'Out of the Blue' and it will be our first choice when we go back to Myrtle Beach.

Family vacation and reunion getaway
We used "Out of the Blue" for vacation getaway for 18 people (rented the whole house) which included grandparents (us), children, grandchildren, and a couple of our teenage granddaughters girlfriends. The grandchildren ranged in age from 1 thru 14. We found the house beautiful, in first class up to date shape, very beautifully adorned, well maintained, and with all the amenities that we could ask for. The two golf carts for riding to the beach and to the pools were a real hit and especially enjoyed by the grandchildren. The house is in a nice quiet area and the surroundings are beautiful. The five minute ride to the beach was just perfect. The game room was a real hit, although we spent most of our time at the beach and pools. Gas stations and a supermarket were both located immediately outside the Bermuda Bay complex which came in very handy.The whole family really enjoyed the stay and the grandchildren and children all wished that they could have stayed another week. I worked with Gwen in all of the arrangement setups and she was wonderful to work with.
I would definitely recommed this home to all who are interested in a wonderful vacation stay.

Wonderful
My wife and I took the kids and the extended family to Myrtle recently and absolutely loved this home! I say home because it wasn't like a rental, this place really had that homelike feeling. There is a lot of attention to detail. Steve and Gwen spared no detail on this wonderful home. It was fully stocked except for groceries and personal items. The kids absolutely loved the game room...especially the Fooseball and Pool table. I suffered a many defeats at the hands of my oldest :)
The home is huge with enough room for everyone to spread out. The furnishings are very well thought out and the decorating had a lot of effort put into it.
We had one of the golf carts stop functioning on us at an in opportune time, but one quick call and Steve and Gwen were all over the problem. Broken battery terminal was fixed and returned the next day. We took a day trip to Charleston, so it wasn't an issue at all. Just really pleased and impressed with Steve and Gwen's prompt action.
We have stayed at Bermuda Bay before and Out of the Blue definitely stands out. The rental process and communication were spot on with absolutely no stone left unturned. There were no surprises when we got there and everything was exactly as described. Pictures on VRBO do not even begin to do Out of the Blue justice. This home is gorgeous!!!!
The only complaint we had is that we had to leave :)

My family of 10, ages 21-57, stayed at Out of the Blue for a week in May. We found the house to be exactly as pictured. It was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfy and the golf carts provided easy access to the beach. The kitchen itinerary was helpful in planning meals and we loved that the house was well stocked with beach towels and beach chairs. Renting a vacation home is probably the biggest expense in the budget, but prospective renters can rest assured that their money will be well-spent. We tend to not repeat vacations (too many places in this world to discover), but I would not hesitate to stay here again and have advised other family members to check it out! I also received my deposit money back in a week..record time!

Great Home!
We were very happy with our stay at “Out of the Blue”! The house is very clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and well maintained. The 3 levels (lower, main and lofted bedroom) made it perfect for our family with children who go to bed early and adults who stay up late. We were especially impressed at how well stocked the house is with everything you’d need for a beach vacation. Beach chairs, sand toys, beach towels, umbrellas, coolers are all provided. The kitchen has mostly everything you’d have at home as far as appliances, dishes and cookware (blender, coffee maker, can opener, baking pans, etc.). The community in which the house is part of is very peaceful, and we liked having the amenity options (playground, indoor pool, tennis). Even though we were not beachfront, getting to the beach was easy with the provided golf carts and bikes. Our only advice to future vacationers is that the bunk beds are probably best for children to sleep on (not as comfortable for adults). Overall we loved staying here!
