Overall excellent. Was as listed/expected. Great view of the water and picturesque sunsets from the front porch. Upgrade from our typical campground cabin experience.

The location of this home is its greatest feature. I have rented at lots of shore locations over the years and generally know what to expect when visiting. While the cottage was mostly clean, I was surprised that there was not one trash bag available for the can upon arrival. There was one roll of toilet paper and that’s it. My husband and I also cleaned the ceiling ac vents as they were caked with dust and my allergies went crazy. We were surprised that when we checked in the welcome binder stated the outdoor shower is also to be used by people next door. I am assuming the owners also own that property. I did not, however, see anyone use the shower besides my husband during our 2 week stay. Given the shower is attached to the house we rented I found it disconcerting that strangers may be using the shower, especially with my teen daughter in tow. I made sure I was communicative with the owner when the porch umbrella wasn’t working. She offered me the option of going to a nearby Big Lots to replace it and submit a receipt for payment which I declined. As we began our second week the washer stopped working. At the owner’s request I sent a photo of the make and model info. I never heard anything else. If the repair wasn’t to be done during our stay I do believe we should have received some compensation for having no washing machine during our second week. Again the location is absolutely lovely but with the cost of renting at the shore, I will look elsewhere next season.

The only complaint I have is the bathroom door. We were not able to lock the bathroom sliding door.

The house was pristine as it was recently renovated. We loved eating on the front porch table with views of the water. The beach was literally 30 steps from the house and we enjoyed Incredible sunset walks along the beach every night. A perfect stay for a family that enjoys a peaceful neighborhood, free beach and a very clean/new house!

Great Location
The house is a few steps from the beach. I think we were the first guests after the house was renovated. So, it was all completely new. It's a small house but it has 3 bedroom and it was perfect for our family.
