It was so nice. The directions on GPS didn't get us to

The entire family loved our stay. Really enjoyed the town as well as Toccoa River Restaurant.

We stayed at the Canoeing Bear cabin for a celebration of my wife’s birthday and for Valentines Day. The cabin was perfect! Excellent location near town but feeling super remote. The drive in to the cabin on the forest service road alongside the lake was awesome. The cabin had everything we needed and was really clean. We absolutely loved the backyard with the fire pit and hot tub. Do note that if you are a firebug like myself bring your own firewood. Overall excellent weekend in a perfect environment.

Will definitely come again.

Cabin had everything that we could have ever needed. Very private. Loved the hot tub and fire pit

Nicely decorated cabin, enjoyed the firepit, comfortable beds and pillows. Had a nice time hiking, white water rafting and sight seeing. Only downfall about the cabin was it could use a good dusting and there were cobwebs everywhere outside so you couldn’t use the porches or sit outside to eat. I also woke up with big spider bites. So beware of spiders around the property!

At first the ride up was alittle scary, but once we got to the cabin it was absolutely fabulous. Nice and roomy. Everything was great

This is the cutest cabin! So clean and adorable! The “two kitchens” have everything that you need! Hot tub is wonderful! We will certainly be back!!

Great cabin and location. Very quiet and peaceful.

The cabin is perfect for a getaway but is difficult to drive at night , Only one road to go up and down with no illumination.
It made our purpose for a getaway. We cooked everyday and never left the cabin after 530 pm. Thanks for the experience !!!

Very nice stay.

This cabin was beautiful and the property was private enough that it was peaceful and tranquil. All of my friends said the beds were so comfortable and they all slept amazingly the whole weekend. Aside from going to see and do everything nearby, we had brunch on the patio, made full use of the fire pit and enjoyed evenings in the hot tub. We had everything we needed and was given specific directions to the cabin, so communication was not needed much, but when I did reach out to them, they responded quickly, so that was also great. I only wish I would have booked it for an extra day bc it was so relaxing there, that it was difficult to come back home.

The drive up to the cabin was beautiful, and you get some very photographic lakeside views. There are cabins nearby and yet it feels very secluded and private. Communications with the owner and property manager were smooth and easy and the place was exceptionally well cleaned and decorated! The owners provide tons of movies, outdoor games, tools to make s’mores etc. everything feels so well thought out. I went mushroom hunting during my stay and found tons of chanterelles and cauliflower mushrooms that I was able to cook and enjoy. The wildlife here is abundant and beautiful! There is a book of cabin rules that outlines any questions you might have about operating the hot tub, Netflix etc. but if any questions arise, property manager and owner response time is super fast. kitchen is well supplied and there are tons of spices in the cabinets for guest use. It really feels like every detail was thought through! 10/10 cabin.

The cabin and property were beautiful and well maintained. The road getting to the property needed a lot of work. (The government maintained road). Once you got there didn't won't to go back out.

Great location & a beautiful cabin. Awesome road to travel up to off the main road. Would have loved to revisit the cabin in the future but more than likely won't. Property management company that handles the readiness of the cabin failed to have the cabin fully unlocked or cleaned prior to our arrival. When issues were addressed to the rental company, and waiting almost a month for a response, they took no responsibility for any of the issues. Hopefully the owner of the cabin will find someone else to handle his rental. Lastly, Watch out for bears!

Quick Getaway!
Just what we needed to getaway and recharge before school starts back.

Clean and fun!
We had an excellent time! Hot tub was great! Gravel drive was scary at first!

This cabin was perfect for our family. Clean, true to pictures, and had everything we needed. It felt spacious with all of the beds and my kids loved that they could each sleep on separate floors. The hot tub was a huge hit and we also used the fire pit outside. We so enjoyed our time here!
The only thing I didn't absolutely love (and this was not a deal-breaker, just mentioning it here for those that might mind) is the gravel drive to the cabin. Its about 9 minutes from the paved road to the cabin. Again, not a deal breaker but that part of the drive was not my favorite!
You'll love this cabin!

The hosts did very well equipping the cabin with essentials. It was quick and easy to reach and communicate with them. The cabin is in a very quiet spot.

This place was just what we wanted and needed. Everyone had their own space, which was nice. A little more off the grid than I was expecting but we had no issues with it. Perfect for our spring break needs!

All in all this cabin has everything you need! We chose this cabin because we don't have a four wheel drive vehicle currently and we were worried about the weather not being on our side. You can definitely get to this cabin in a 2 wheel drive vehicle as long as the weather cooperates. There is one steep-ish spot but it wouldn't be a problem unless there was ice or snow. The dirt road to the cabin is a long one lane with a few blind curves so drive slowly. After the first drive in, we had it down and it wasn't so intimidating when someone else was coming. Also, follow the directions emailed to you because GPS does try to take you through private property. The cabin itself was exactly as pictured, lots of soft warm blankets and the couch is comfortable. We did a lot of cooking there and they had everything we needed for cooking - the pans could use some love but aside from that, it was great!

If you are looking for a very relaxing place to stay in Blue Ridge, GA, this cabin is it! My family and I really enjoyed this cabin. It has everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was nicely decorated for the holidays and there's plenty of space for a group of 8 people (more if you bring an air mattress and use the sofa for sleeping). This cabin was clean to the naked eye but once I started looking in corners and underneath beds I found out that this cabin wasn't immaculately clean, plus the main floor oven was dirty. The cabin is all electrical therefore the hot water does run out and when that happens cold showers it is. Other than those few minor hiccups, our stay was peaceful and relaxing. The neighbors were quiet except for one night we did hear a little girl screaming to the top of her lungs but for the most part things were very quiet.
We constantly spotted deers but I wanted to see a bear lol it didn't happen though. There's not very much to do in Blue Ridge but the people are nice. Walmart, restaurants, and gas stations are probably like 10 - 15 minutes from this cabin. In my conclusion I would stay again and recommend this cabin to my family and friends.
