A beautiful home that was perfect for our family - one of the best stocked homes we have stayed in.

This house was comfortable, clean, beautiful and spacious!! My only complaint was the water pressure being low. Now I am keeping in mind, that the house is historic, it is part of the Galveston Historic District after all, I am only writing this so others will know what to expect. The house is beautifully restored. My family and I will treasure our memories for years to come.

Great location in the historic district. Walked to coffee and strolled the neighborhood admiring the incredible homes. The home itself is immaculate and decorated simply, cleanly, beautifully AND comfortably. The millwork, doors, windows and staircases are works of art. Fun to sit on the front porch and enjoy the evening. We traveled with seniors, toddlers, and teens, and there were comfortable and appropriate accommodations for all. Nice assortment of books on the history of the area.

We loved staying in this grand olde home. We were here to tour a little bit of Galveston before our cruise. It’s a perfect location and the host were lovely. We accidentally messed up the front door lock and they were quick to respond. I would definitely stay here again.

The property is well maintained. The kitchen, dining area, living room, bedrooms and bathrooms are all spacious. The kitchen is stocked with spices, condiments and much more. The bathrooms have extra toiletries in case you forgot something. We had a great stay!! Restaurants are close and so is the beach. The hosts are amazing!! They checked on us often and were easy to contact.

This is our fourth year in a row to stay at homes owned by these hosts. They are awesome! We always bring our kids and grandkids, and it’s so fun to all stay under one roof. The house is always clean, beautifully furnished, and is an easy walk to the beach, or a very short drive. Can’t wait for next year!

Three generations of our 8 person family stayed very comfortably. Love the the converted attic into bedroom where the older kids felt like they were in their own apartment. Kitchen had absolutely everything we needed to make our meals. Great location close to the strand and cruise port. The house is beautiful, rich with history yet has all the modern necessities for comfort and convenience.

House is beautiful and laid out great for large groups. Enjoyed front porch and cooking steaks out back. Kitchen, dinning area, and Living room were big enough for our group of 8. You can walk to the Strand or Seawall. Great places to eat include Miller’s, Katies, and the Blvd.most Gardens about 15 minutes away and Texas Bryan museum about 5. House is in the historic district with other classic homes.

Wonderful charming historical home, well appointed, spacious and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed being within walking distance to so many activities and historical sites. Also enjoyed taking in evening walks, porch time and watching the horse drawn carriages go down the street in the evening. Definitely felt as if we had gone back in time to a bygone past. A good time was had by all. We hope to come back again.

Our family of eleven takes a group vacation every summer. This year in Galveston. We found the Belle of Ball Street to be a great fit for us! Everyone had a cozy bedroom and we really enjoyed hanging out around the kitchen island, preparing meals, and having lots of great conversations and more than a few laughs. The place is well kept and thoughtfully furnished. Wonderful, shady, walkable, historic neighborhood five minutes drive time from just about anything we wanted to do.
Five stars.

We loved staying at the Belle of Ball Street. The home is well appointed with beautiful decor and comfortable furniture. We booked this property for its location close to walkable restaurants and not too far from both The Strand and the beach. We had 2 families stay with 8 total guests and had plenty of space. Our kids enjoyed surf camp for 3 days next to Pleasure Pier and then walking across the street to the Float Pool Bar for lunch. We would rent here again!

Our experience with this home was exceptional in every way. Their hospitality, and attention to detail surpassed our expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this owner to anyone seeking an outstanding vacation experience. It was evident that they took great pride in their property and genuinely wanted us to have a memorable experience.

We stayed at this home to celebrate a graduation for the weekend with friends and family. This home is located on a quiet street in a historic area of Galveston. Easy access to restaurants and The Strand area. This home was just as described on VRBO. The beds were comfortable. You are provided with everything you need away from home. The kitchen was well-stocked and the bar area was an added bonus. The large dining table was great for our dinners as well as playing cards in the evening (games are available for use). The separate Nest temperature controls made it comfortable especially when staying in an older home. Owners provided items for your beach day also (we did not use).
Owners were available at all times for questions. Easy access to home upon on arrival and departure. Instructions were sent in advance as well as the history of the home and things to do in Galveston.
This home is your home away from home while on vacation.

This beautiful historic home was perfect for our group of 8 women celebrating over 30 years of friendship. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean.
