good breakfast buffet, spacious breakfast room, full of light; parking space (not trivial in this old village); very central to bars, restaurants, shops and musea. Large Self Service drinks cabinet in the hall. Food market round the central "Ruin Church" on Saturday

Short walking distance to the center of historic Bergen, with lots of restaurants. The hotel is located on a quiet street with historic mansions, close to entrances to the many gorgeous hiking and biking trails through woods and dunes. During the low seasons it is likely not necessary to reserve a paid parking spot at the hotel. During the month November I was able to find a free street parking spot every day of my stay (two minutes walking distance from the hotel). Ask the staff where to park. During the busy summer season free parking will likely be difficult to find.

staff immediately offered to prepare a breakfast box when I told them I would be leaving at 0700. they also pointed me to the free parking spots just at the end of the street not charging 15-20 euro fee for parking at their place.
emergency exit signs are low when being 2 meters tall ;-)

The breakfast was good. The selection of breads and baked goods was great. Maybe some fruit salad would have been nice to have.
More fruit and cereals!

The Location of the hotel is very central just couple of minutes and you are already in the center with beautiful ruins and many restaurants/bar. And the beach is easily accessible by car or even better with bike. The bike roads are very nice and amazing nature.
The breakfast was very good, sufficient options for every taste. Eating outside even made it better experience.
We liked our room a lot it was very comfortable, relative big. we had good rest and it was very clean.
The hotel stuff is very friendly, they were very helpful with every request/question we had.
We suggest everyone who is planning to go Bergen to stay at Joli!

clean and easy to communicate with the staff
- bathroom was empty of shampoo and soaps
- no extra blanket and pillows
- I got charged extra at the checkout.

The breakfast was excellent and actually the best element of our stay
When we arrived around 19:00 there was a pregnant unpleasant fish smell in the whole building and also our room, which stayed around for hours. Early morning this was replaced by a strong bakery smell. Also not very pleasant.

good place in the village, excellent breakfast buffet, very friendly and helpful staff.
this is not dislike, just a minus point. Dinner was offered as part of the booking, but it was not clear that it was not in Joli, but a sister hotel at the top of the village. Nice walk before and after dinner, but not clear when booking. Breakfast is the only in-house catering but Bergen has a lot of cafes and restaurants!

Very close to the center of town. Nice outdoor patio.
Light in our bathroom didn’t work (although this was fixed by hotel after 24 hours). Rooms are small for what they cost. WiFi didn’t reach our room on the top floor. Breakfast just so-so.

Breakfast had something for everybodys taste. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Walls are a bit thin, meaning you could hear noises from other guests.
