This 3 bedroom 2 bath, veteran owned home sits on half an acre with plenty of room to park your boat and jet skis. Relax on the front porch swing, at the fire pit, or on the back deck and watch deer as they roam through the yard! Take your boat, jet skis, and kayaks down to boatramp 8, less than 2 minutes away, and explore the beautiful, clear clean waters of Canyon Lake.
Just 5 minutes to Cranesmill Park and Marina as well as other parks, boat rentals and great places to eat. Looking to tube the Guadalupe River?? Float the river during the day and catch a concert at night at Whitewater Ampitheater, all just 11 miles away. Visit the famous Tanger Outlet Center in San Marcos and shop till you drop. Take a walk through historic Gruene and visit the oldest dance hall in Texas then cruise on over to Naegelin's bakery in New Braunfels, the oldest bakery in Texas, and try some authentic and delicious German strudel! You won't regret it!! Wineries, Breweries, Wimberley, and San Antonio are all nearby. Walk the Dam, hike and bike our trails, try some awesome Texas brisket. There's so much to do!! The house was cozy and cute. There was plenty of room for everyone. It was a perfect getaway, peaceful wildlife, and centrally located to all locations we had planned. As a photographer it had perfect locations around the lake for handheld shots as well as aeriel shots.

Great cozy home with plenty of land to enjoy the outdoors or spend time indoors playing games, watching movies or cooking! We had a great time, we spent a weekend girls trip and we enjoyed it!!

The house had large rooms and everything was very clean. I loved the vintage hardwood floors. It was close to the lake, but we were spending most of out time in town. The hostess was good and the house access was simple and easy. The departure requirements were also easy.

The house has been recently and tastefully remodeled. Very clean and accommodating on the interior. Outside grounds could be maintained anpittle better but with the wildlife/deer probably make that a small challenge. Overall, I would recommend this properly!property

We loved the house. It was comfortable and beautiful. We were disappointed in the lake. It was low and the boat ramps were closed. We were unable to access it.

We enjoyed our stay at canyon lake. The property was very nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and it was perfect for our family of 6. The house was close to the lake so we took our boat out daily.

Traveled with my husband and friends to floate the river. The location is great and loved seeing the deer in the yard. The house was decorated cute. However, there were large ants in the shower, the hot water didn't get as hot as I like, and the dishes in the cabinets weren't super clean (maybe dishwasher not working well). Also, the soap, toilet paper, and paper towels were not replaced from previous stays which I did not care for. Overall, the stay was nice but the cleaning crew could do a better job.

We had such a nice time! Quiet neighborhood with lots of deer passing by. The house was great! The layout worked great for our family. Lots to do all around. It is in the middle of some great day trips or just a 2 mile drive to the lake. We needed more time so we will definitely be back.

My family had the best time at Canyon Lake! This property is perfect. So close to the boat ramp. Tons of deer. The pictures do not do this place justice. The house is so cute and much nicer than the pictures show. We had the best time! Owners were very quick to respond. Such a beautiful property! We will be back next year. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We stayed here 3 nights to split up our drive to the beach. It was great! So cute and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood. It would be a great place if you had a boat because it’s so closer to the lake.

We enjoyed this nicely redone older home. Great neighborhood. Enjoyed the deer in the yard. Admired the deck and the workmanship. Too bad it was much too windy to enjoy the beautiful deck and firepit.

We take several family trips each year to "near water" destinations. We're boaters and overall water enthusiasts. This neat, clean home was perfect for our needs. Near a boat ramp, plenty of room inside and out for the kids to run around and five minutes from our boat storage. Startzville has everything you'll need and only minutes away. The neighborhood is serene and quiet with plenty of deer and birds.
