Bom hotel

Quarto limpo, piscina para crianças e cama bem confortável. Localização boa, próxima da praia e de restaurantes com supermercado à porta.

O quarto era pequeno, podia ser mais bem aproveitado, mas para nós que só ficámos 2 noites não fez diferença.. O chuveiro/banheira era péssimo, uma pessoa alta tem que tomar banho sentada, é o único ponto negativo.

Location is good. Breakfast is very nice. Pool and bar are cousy. Generaly good value

Noise! It was written "Please be quiet at corridors" but I would say that people don't respect that but also isolation on doors is terrible so you hear every single step what you wouldn't like in 6 or 7 a.m. That part needs to be improved.

A great value holiday with excellent faciltiies.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great. The pool area was awesome. The location was near to the beach and there were plenty of shops and eating places nearby. After checkout I was able to use the pool area and there was a complimentary change area to use before we went to the airport.

The beds were very squeaky. It was an $85 taxi ride between there and the airport at Heraklion.

Perfect for us

Axos is a family run hotel (mum and sisters), all lovely. We were treated like friends from the moment we arrived. The hotel is directly on the 'tourist strip' of Platanes, so everything you could need is on your doorstep. The rooms are a very good size, with a good sized bathroom and a kitchenette complete with fridge, microwave, 2 ring hob and enough pots, pans etc. To cook a full meal if you wanted to. A buffet (European style) breakfast was included with our stay and there was always plenty of choice - please don't expect a greasy fry up, you don't holiday in Crete if you want to eat like that - although a fry up can be found if you want to wander away from the hotel. The pool is a decent size but if you want the beach it is a short walk away. We've stayed many times in this area but for some reason, this has been our first stay at the Axos. It won't be our last.

It was small but perfectly placed. The bar is the best in the area! The staff are the best, helpful and friendly. Better than anywhere I have ever been before.

There was nothing to dislike about this property it was perfect for what I needed it for.

Cheap hotel with cheap experience

Hotel has a good location within the area

Pool small and staff not friendly or welcoming. If you want to have a conversation or dinner on your balcony past 10pm don’t stay here.

nice spaceous rooms with mini kitchen, nice staff but not good breakfast

great and calm location outside of neighboring city. Beach 5 min walking. all shops and restaurants around. working pool.

breakfast was not as announced, old not fresh bread, very bad tasting coffee, fewer options. room service every 3 days only (because of corona they say) !!
