entered the room and found blood stained chair, bedding with holes in window did not shut properly and bathroom was filthy and toilet still had urine in from previous guests

Staff were great

Had a shower after few mins bathroom was flooded due to drain bein blocked solid with hair clearly see not bein cleaned for months and the bedroom window would not lock and kept falling open to keep the noise out

Absolutely pleasant stay, staff friendly, room clean, good location

We arrived an hour and a half earlier than check-in time but the room was ready so we were allowed to check in. Dog friendly and the cost was £8 per night which is very reasonable.

We had to have a twin room as that was all that was available and the furniture was mismatched plus very little space to put anything on.

Not bad, have stayed in better 3 star hotels.

Overall a nice hotel, friendly staff, good location, not far to walk to the beach and local attractions. Free parking.

Shower had low pressure and flooded the bathroom after a few minutes. Room was too warm, even with the windows open, I think the heating was on in the hallway, on a warm day. Some stains on the duvet. Parking was limited.

just about ok for one night but has a few issues

bed and bedding was nice and clean

dogs barking until midnight. family next door came in at 1am with a very young screaming child. . shower was dirty and floor tiles badly need re-grouting. breakfast not very good.

Staff were friendly especially the manageress and made me feel at home. The location was handy to the seafront attraction to the seaside attractions of Paignton.

I left my stay two days early than I intended because there was a sewage smell every morning coming into my room also the bedding was stained with urine and I had to change it also the room was very dirty and I had to pay extra for my two pets off the booking which should’ve been in with the booking because I stated that I was bringing two dogs with me, and the staff was quite rude With the approach to receive the money lovely location but wouldn’t stay in this hotel again

Paper thin walls, broken showers, get asked to move due to a leak, toilets to close to the wall, toilet roll holder loose loo roll falls off, no warm water? Bath taps loose and put from wall, itching in beds all night with bites found on our feet and legs!!

Superb

The staff were amazingly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. It is a 5 minute walk from the esplanade/beach/pier. Set back from main drag, so no late evening noise. Bar was great, and we had the bonus of a singer performing for a couple of hours. Bed was super comfy and everything you could need in a room for a short break. Very dog friendly.

The corridor floor was creaky, so even when I was trying to be quiet, walking through it all made a noise. I'm not sure if other guests could hear it.

All shook up.

Nice decor, breakfast lovely.

Up all night with industrial washing machines and tumble driers under room, room was shaking, we had to move rooms in the early hours because we had no sleep. Night porter was nice, but I went for a relaxing sleep and just had worst time. Hopefully they will listen and sort it. Water was like warm. I have a video of the noise but I cant upload. Room120.

we arrived late and were not able to get a drink in the bar, even though we are paying guests, it was only 11pm…they would allow us to drink our wine in the room, but they did not have a corkscrew anywhere in the hotel….

Excellent and friendly staff.

The breakfast was cooked freshly and was always piping hot. It included cereals, jam, prunes, grapefruit, fruit juice, tea and coffee etc. Toast and jams were also available. Although I did not have it, kippers and haddock were available as was porridge. The evening meals were always plentiful and well cooked. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.

I have no complaints.
