Myself and my 2 boys along with my buddy and his son stayed here on a Monday thru Friday for a week of hanging out and fishing. Host was awesome, went out of his way to get me information on fishing spots and launches and the home was great, boat was parked at the dock which made the start of our daily ventures easy. The property was great, we had stuff to do all the time, even in the rain. Great Memories were made and have no complaints!

This property was absolutely perfect for our group. We enjoyed the nice cool temperatures and beautiful surroundings while drinking coffee outside. The kids enjoyed fishing from the dock and canoeing in front of the property. There was plenty of room for the trucks and boats.

We had a great “up north” weekend with my friends and I. TJ provided everything we needed to have it be a successful weekend! Would definitely come back in future years.

TJ was wonderful to work with!
It was a guys fishing trip, and they had a great time. Only downfall was they couldnt keep any walleye or pike, but thats no ones fault. Just means they will have to come back!
Highly recommend!!

We’re all retired so everything on one level was great. Loved the open concept and view of water from large windows. The only problem we had was the mosquito’s, which owner has no control of, when setting outside. Have no complaints on the house, very comfortable. Thanks

We had a lovely time for Memorial weekend. The fish were biting and the beds were comfortable. Our friends across the canal (own cabin) came for dinner and lunch, plenty of room for everyone! We mastered puzzles and enjoyed our stay. Thank you for sharing your cozy cabin with us!

Property is well maintained and communication with owners was great. The open floor plan and multiple beds/baths is great for groups. I would definitely recommend to anybody looking in this area, and I will be staying here again in the future.

Nice property, plenty of room for our party of 9. We liked the large table for games and the fireplace was nice, however turn it off a few hours before bed, otherwise the bedrooms don't get any heat from the furnace and were rather cool. There are a bunch of games in the table storage. We spent the day hiking Kathio State Park so didn't utilize the outdoor amenities on site, but the yard and dock area looked rather inviting. 2 bundles of wood were provided.

Although the property is not directly on the main lake, the huge windows in the open living area provide lovely views of the cove (there is a channel on the water through to the main lake). The kitchen is well-stocked and the beds are comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the fire pit and the gazebo (which let us play cards "outside" even in the rain. Communication with the host was clear and prompt.

We could not have asked for a more relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed the open fire pit in the evenings. Perfect weather to be outside. Huge grill for grilling hamburgers or steak and veggie kabobs for 6 easily. Cabin had huge open dining room/living room area surrounded with all windows to view the colored leaves on the many trees. Kitchen and bathrooms were well supplied.
Part of the group tried fishing for walleye. No luck but they came back with lots of good memories of the ones that got away and many images of a beautiful lake.
We recommend Hunter's Point restaurant in Isle for a perfect walleye dinner.
Downer for us was no view of the lake from our cabin. The cabin is located on a canal that was shallow and covered with green algae.
TJ was a gracious host and answered all my questions and gave me excellent tips before we even set foot on the property. So helpful.
Thank you for a memory-filled week.

Everything was good. Plenty of room and beds for everyone. Clean and peaceful. If you plan on docking a boat keep in mind this is not located on a very deep part of the lake

We stayed at this property for a summer lake getaway with friends. The home was great with plenty of space and a great table everyone was able to all fit at for meals and games. The fire pit area was excellent with plenty of space for everyone and easy access to wood so we didn’t need extra trips to get more. We rented a pontoon for a day at a place only a mile away and had a great time boating and fishing out on the lake. The property is within a small channel so it is easy to get out to Mille Lacs and also nice to be out of the wind from the large lake while on the property. We all really enjoyed this property and the host was great with information and making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely book this property again.

We gifted my parents a family get away weekend for Christmas and ended up landing with this property. It has a perfect open concept family area/ kitchen where we spent most of our time. The bedroom locations were also very convenient since my niece was going to bed before the rest of us every night. The rooms down the hallway were perfectly tucked away so we could continue our night in the family area without worrying about waking her up. We planned on fishing but never got around to it due to the extremely cold temps. Overall, great cabin and would recommend especially for families or groups that want a good open space.

Property had plenty of space, lots of windows for natural light. Added touch on the outside sign welcoming us with our last name and all the ingredients needed to make some yummy s’mores!

Loved the property! Very clean and had everything you would need! Loved that there was a table that had seating for 12! We could all eat together! Big grassy yard and enclosed gazebo!! Open concept home with lots of seating! Worked perfect for our annual family vacation! TJ was an absolutely wonderful host!

Vacation with family celebrating our anniversary
We found the cabin to be neat, clean and well stocked, with enough linens to last us through the week. The living area we found to be large enough to accommodate all nine of us. There were enough toys to keep the grandkids busy, along with those they brought. Outside we found the yard to be large enough for outdoor games and the fire pit was a nice place to relax in the evening and have an evening treat of S’mores. The graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate were compliments of the owners. We spent several days just hanging around the cabin and were not bored, nor did we feel crowded.

Property was as stated, we had two couples and plenty of room. Enjoyed our stay with golf close and fishing enjoyable. Would recommend renting this property. TJ the owner was available and full of information on the area.

Hidden gem
Perfect house for our family! Large kitchen table allowed us all to eat together. The fire pit area was great. The kids loved making smores every night. We were able to tie our boat up every night and not worry about taking it out after every outing. TJ was quick to respond with any questions we had before and during our stay.

4th of July Get Away
We brought our boat so did some fishing (although not for walleye as it is not legal to fish for walleye from July 1-15) and kids enjoyed fishing off of dock for little perch. We enjoyed the beautiful weather and a fire in the evening.

Great Place for family time!
The large open area and the large table were so great to have meals together and play board games, cards, etc.
We needed to contact TJ and received a very prompt response! Fishing off the dock was great! The kids had so much fun and I think they all caught at least one! No complaints from us, the kids and adults are ready to do it all over again. Thank you TJ.

Great Bachelor Party Weekend
9 grooms men spent a weekend fishing, playing lawn games, shooting at the local gun club, and gambling at the casino.
Great location with lots of space and lots to do.

Quick winter getaway
We rented this for 3 nights for a short Christmas getaway with family (6 of us). Place was easy to find. TJ was very responsive to requests. Lots of room to spread out and a great big table to play games and socialize. One minor complaint was the cold, it had a gas fireplace which was great but the master bedroom/bath was pretty chilly. Overall we had a great time. We would rent again.

Christmas 2021
Our family had a wonderful time at this cabin! Perfect size/space for the 10 of us. Very welcoming, there was even a welcome sign on the porch with our name on it upon arrival!
Would love to come back in the summer to take advantage of the location even more! Would definitely stay here again!

Thanksgiving Weekend Getaway
Tj was very responsive, kind, and willing to help with questions about the local area. He made the processes from booking to stay to departure as smooth as possible. Our family had such a great time over the Thanksgiving weekend and his home was big and spacious to fit us perfectly. The cherry on top was the kind/generous amenity to make smores, as he knew we were planning on having bonfires every night! We will be sure to book another stay with TJ whenever we head to Mille Lacs.

Couldn’t ask for more.
The cabin was the perfect space for a weekend getaway to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. Plenty of living room/ dining space and very nice bedrooms and bathrooms. The hosts even added special touches for the birthday celebration and that was very sweet.
I would absolutely book this property again and will be keeping it in mind for future trips!
