Extremely small room. Bathroom smelt. Unfriendly staff.

The hotel is located right next to the beach. The room for two people was small but met our needs. Tasty breakfast. Restaurant, shops in the area. Silence, the sound of the sea.

The location and the terrace
Room was small

Well, there is absolutely no better location on the beach in this part of Brittany! My room was spacious enough and access to everything in the hotel was easy. The location again, location, location, location. On a scale of value from 1-10 … it’s a 12!
Cannot really think of anything.

I found the bar price’s very expensive, compared to other venues

The hotel is located right on the beach and the terrace rooms have wonderful views. The terrace is very large (double the size of the room?). The room had all we wanted. The wifi was excellent and allowed my tablet to tune into Radio Caroline while also viewing my emails without interruptions. The car park behind the hotel was quiet and safe. The staff were really friendly.

The room had a very comfy bed.The room was a little on the small side. There was an electric kettle for our use. Modern en suite with shower.
There was no mirror in the room but there were 2 in the en suite. The full length mirror could be moved to the room. The electric kettle could do with a longer lead as it wouldn't reach the plug while on the desk.

Just a smallish room, met our needs but smaller than we are used to.
Because it was in a small town and near a youth hostel it could get noisy at night.

Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. The room overlooked the Monsieur Hulot Beach, with a spectacular view of the local coast. Unfortunately, the weather was stormy during part of my visit, which meant that I couldn't spend any time sitting on the good-sized balcony outside the double doors to the room. Located in a pleasant little village which has lots of references to Monsieur Hulot and his famous Holiday there in the 1950s. Reachable by bus from St Nazaire railway station (bus service U3 at the time of writing, final destination Chemin de la Source, but alight a few stops before it at the "Jacques Tati" stop which is about five minutes' walk to the hotel).
The room was smaller than I expected. I did wonder whether there might have been any scope for the hotel to extend the room a bit, using up some of the spacious balcony, but I doubt that the hotel could justify the cost and effort involved for what would provide only a modestly-sized improvement to the bedroom space.

It was a shame we could not sit at a bar for a drink .

Excellent breakfast - and served early, so we could be on our way again early
The bed. This was the smallest, narrowest 'double bed' ever. Really uncomfortable for two normal-sized adults

Convenient for what I wanted to do!
Didn’t realise that the Sunday Morning Market blocked access to the disabled parking! (I should have asked!)

Hotel very close to the beach. Using the "chemin des douaniers" we walked many hours along the beach.
Parking free for our car. We have used the public transport that are not so far away (5-10 min. walk for 2 bus lines U2 and U3) and have allowed us to reach the center of St. Nazaire within 30-45 min. Bus was always on time.
Very good food at the hotel restaurant. Lunch buffet was correct. We met very nice people during our stay.
Wifi working very well in our room.
Very limited comfort in our room. The bed was not large enough.
The 2 windows of our room were oriented towards a bar restaurant that remained very noisy until late at night
The staff of the hotel and that of the restaurant belonged to 2 different companies... which required 2 different points of contact for the organization of lunch and dinner

Fabulous location. We were upgraded to a superior sea view room that was perfect for us. Comfy bed, very good shower, great breakfast and amazing view. And there was parking.
We liked everything

very limited ability to get a drink or snack out of certain hours.

superb view and balcony.
for what was described as a superior room it was very small . therefor we felt it was over priced .

Location relative to the beech was good.
One room the toilet was so small I would only describe it as a cupboard.
The bath was in the bedroom which was not ideal when sharing with children.
Main bedroom toilet clearly had a problem, strong smell of urine. Not nice.
