About this house rental

Welcome to the Isle of Palms! Bring the whole family to this wonderful 8-bedroom, 8-bathroom home which features a private pool, elevator, rooftop views and is located just one block from the ocean and from the popular "Front Beach", known for its wonderful shops and restaurants. Offering 3 stories of porches, take advantage of the island breezes and the Carolina sunshine.

You will love the open floor plan with combination living room and dining room, with an oversized dining table seating 12. The living room has a very open feel with plenty of seating for everyone and a large TV for entertainment. Just off the living room is a great wet bar with under the counter ice maker. The kitchen is just off the dining room and is outfitted with 2 dishwashers. Each of the 8 bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom. There is a TV in every bedroom, 4 of the 8 bedrooms have TV with cable service remaining 4 bedrooms have smart TVs. This is a raised, 3 story home with an elevator that services all 3 floors. While there is an elevator please note that this a personal home elevator and is not required to be ADA compliant.

The outdoor areas offer something for everyone. Relax and feel the island breezes on any of the 2 covered porches or lounge around the pool, climb the spiral staircase and watch the sunset from rooftop crow's nest where you can catch the ocean views. The pool oasis is very private surrounded by 6 foot privacy fencing and offers outdoor shower with hot and cold water, poolside grilling with a large outdoor dining table.

Bedroom 5: Master bedroom w/king bed, large ensuite bathroom with spa tub, separate shower, TV; this bedroom has a private covered porch overlooking the pool area with access to spiral stairs leading to the rooftop crows nest.

Bedroom 7: 2 Queen beds with ensuite bathroom with combination tub/shower, TV

Rooftop/ Crows nest:
Master bedroom porch: spiral stairs lead to the rooftop crows nest.

Misc. Property Notes:
The pool can be heated for flat fee of $350.00 per week minimum. For pool heating we must have advance notice of 2 weeks. The pool is heated by a heat pump, if the ambient air temperature drops below 58 degrees the pool will not heat. Temp must stay above 58 degrees. There are no refunds if the outside temp is below 58. Living room fireplace is not available for guest use. This is a privately owned home, the residential elevator is not ADA compliant. Please do not allow children to play in the elevator. While cable and WIFI are offered, please note that we are on a barrier Island and WIFI and cable services are never guaranteed.

Parking: The car cap for this home is 8. There are 2 extra parking spaces on the backside of the pool fencing. Please park in front of the signs/spaces designated for 1002 Carolina to prevent being towed.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was a great vacation. A couple of things needs to be taken care of . Like more up dated pots and pans. Lights on porch on first floor needs to be replaced.( not working). I need to make sure that the pool is clean before the rentals get there.. And there is a hole In the grass on the side of the house, going to the gate to the backyard at three People fellin.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: One of the best locations I've rented at. There were a few issues. 1st the elevator never worked. 2nd we called about the pool being an opaque green color (unlike our neighbors' pools) and it wasn't addressed for 3 days. We didn't use it because it was too funky. 3rd the fire alarm went off the last night about a dozen times. Very little sleep before our return drives.

The house is in great shape and is very comfortable.Each bedroom with a bathroom was comfortable and clean. Great dining room table that accommodated 12 plus was great. We will definitely come back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is a great spot for a large family vacation. It is beautiful, spacious, and very well kept and clean. It is located near all of the attractions of IOP. You just walk out the back gate and you are within a block or two of all of the restaurants and stores. It is also just a couple of blocks from a beach access. A typical day for us was to go to the beach, come back to the house to relax by the pool. We would later head to one of the great restaurants for supper. All of this would be accomplished without getting into a car. The management was great and responded quickly when any problem arose. We had two minor problems and both were resolved within a couple of hours.

We had 20 people stay in the house and it was set up perfectly for us. A 3 minute walk to the Windjammer was the main reason we picked it. We had a blast and we would definitely stay here again.
