The Master Bedroom is a luxurious retreat with a King bed, seating area, flat-screen TV, and DVD player. The Master Bath is equally impressive, with a generous countertop, two sinks, walk-in closets, a built-in dresser, a large shower, a garden jacuzzi tub, and a linen closet. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms offer Queen Beds and share a walk-through full bath. The 4th and 5th bedrooms are located upstairs, each with an attached full bath and each with a TV. The 4th bedroom has two twin beds and a bunk bed with a full-size mattress on the lower bunk, complete with built-in drawers for storage. Three can sleep in the 5th bedroom, which has a Queen bed, a day bed, and a flat-screen TV. Property was great, spacious, had lots of extras in case you left something at home. Not house related, but the one gate card per entire house is extremely inconvenient to be able to enjoy a vacation without time restraints. Also, listing needs to announce that you need taller vehicles from the constant flooding on the street. Its not just flooded occasionally, but after any amount of rainfall, which is often. We enjoyed lots of local businesses and the beach fishing was absolutely anazing.

The property itself was great. No towel holders in any of the bathrooms. 10 cockroaches were found alive in the house. Diningroom chairs are nearly falling apart. They sway. The street in front had standing water the day we arrived. Then we got rain and it became impassable for about 36 hours. Stranded. No way to get anything to eat. But other than that it was wonderful. The beach was fantastic.

We arrived later in the day after driving about 9 hours from Florida. The check in was seamless, the house was clean, beautiful and in such a fantastic location. We started to unpack and get settled in and noticed a few flying insects, this quickly tuned into an absolute swarm of termites which apparently is just something that happens in that area. There were hundreds and as you can imagine this was A LOT to deal with after a really long day on the road, the swarm didn’t last long, but the cleanup and gross factor was considerable, we contacted the rental group and weren’t really offered much help other than turning the lights out and waiting it out. I totally understand in hindsight that there really wasn’t much to do, but some sort of warning that there was a good possibility of this happening and to take some precautions such as keeping doors closed and lights out after a certain time would have gone a long way. To their credit, we were offered a discount because of the inconvenience which was considerate. Thankfully this was the only night we experienced this. We had some ants around the kitchen and had some trouble getting beach access due to some work being done but both of these issues were taken care of pretty quickly by the rental company, other than these things, we did have a great time, the beach is gorgeous, the water was the perfect temp and the house came equipped with everything you could possibly need, turtles in the pond behind the house were my kids fave!

The property was clean, comfortable, well equipped kitchen. Plenty to do on the island-Ft Gaines-Ft Morgan history with ferry ride connecting them, bird sanctuary, beach and shell collecting, small but good aquarium. Fun island!

Very Nice house & accommodations, near a small shoreline beach.

This property was perfect for our family beach trip. We had 5 couples and kids. It was in a great location for us. We could walk to the beach or easily drive ti the west end to the public beach.

House was great, big house for 12 of us. Nice little beach across street. Only drawbacks were only having 1 keycard for gate with 3 cars. We had to make sure whoever would be back first had the card then had to walk down to let everyone in later. Power also went out some when it rained, 6 hours 1 morning. Went out for a minute several other times. It was fine when weather was good.

House was very spacious. It was within a short walk to the beach. Great location for us and our family. Took a day trip to Pensacola to watch the Blue Angels practice. Had a lot of great food at the local restaurants.

The rental process was easy. ACP Rentals made transactions and communications hassle free. The property was amazing with the seaside view, the sound of the waves, and the quiet tranquility. The house was clean, warm and just the right setting for our family. We will definitely rent again and highly recommend this property.

Home is beautiful and had everything we needed. Short walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again. Just a thought, another refrigerator would be great with a house that holds 14. 😉

Simply Wonderful
We stayed with 2 families in the house. 4 adults and 5 kids between 10 and 15 years old. The house was clean, spacious, bright and really nice. Location is good to with plenty of opportunities for loooong walks on the white sandy beaches, swim and fly a kite. Really enjoyed the stay!

Great place to stay
Very private place to stay since it is in a gated community next to Audubon sanctuary. Easy access to the beach.
The house was well furnished. Very spacious and bright master bedroom made for nice sunrises.

Our stay was great. The house was what it was advertised to be. Beautiful views of the Gulf. Very comfortable for a large group of friends. Only complaint we had was the hot water heater was too small for the number of bathrooms. So hot water was at a premium, but that was a minor inconvenience.

Great Property, Poor management experience
We were honestly nervous coming into this property with the prior review. We, however, did not find any of the prior renters concerns to be our own. The home was clean & spacious, plenty of room to spread out. We loved the large living spaces, especially the patio underneath where we enjoyed supper every night.
Our issues were with the rusty and/or broken patio chairs. A safety hazard we promptly removed from the patio to a place they could not be used and notified the rental company of our concerns.
Lastly, or interactions with the Property Manager at ACP real estate were less than satisfactory. On our second day there was an incident with another renter and local resident. I quickly received an accusatory voicemail & text that read: “I was just called saying you guys are trying to have a bonfire on the beach. This is NOT allowed on Dauphin Island. DO NOT try this - and make sure you only stay near the boardwalk on the beach. DO NOT camp or go under people’s houses. Thank you.”
Poorly handled. Perhaps inquire about another side to the story instead of blaming your renters for something they had nothing to do with.
The Assistant Property Manager was kind, empathetic and assuring. Thank you.
Our poor experience from the managing team did not damper our week away.
We love staying on Dauphin Island and look forward to returning.

The island was awesome! It was an amazing place to stay with no hustle and bustle! It was very laid back and relaxing and no fighting for a beach spot everyday. It was exactly what we were looking for with the craziness that is going on in the world. There were no worries of large crowds. It was perfect! However, the cleaniless and comfort of the home was far from greatness. The furniture was terrible, filthy, and uncomfortable and smelled. None of us had a great nights sleep. The beds were either broken, had sink holes in the middle of them, hard as a rock or all the above. Not to mention filled with sand. The living room furniture was the same. The patio furniture underneath the house was filthy as well and looked likeit had never been clean. The decks and patio underneath the house were also filled with sand and should have been blown off. We did not want to use the washer to wash our clothes as it was corroded with sand. The cabinets were disgusting so we washed all dishes by hand before using them. One of the toilets upstairs was unlevel and made you feel as if you were gonna fall thru the floor. This house was very expensive and should have been more presentable for a comfortable and clean stay. No one she be uncomfortable and worry about sleepless nights on vacation.

Awesome getaway!
We loved our time on Dauphin Island. With a young family we wanted a break from the pandemic reality but wanted to be safe- this was just the place! The beach was so private and so close to the house, it was a great view. The house was clean and had all of the amenities we could need and more! The kids loved the bunk beds and the nook for reading and playing games. We’ll definitely return in the future!

Excellent house, exactly as advertised. Great staff at property management company. Really fun vacation.

Very nice house
The large house was very clean and welcoming. It was newer construction and had all of the modern conveniences of a house this new. Property management was super helpful in getting us into this house on short notice (after our arrival on the island) after the cancellation of our previous rental due to maintenance issues. I'd definitely stay at this house again.
