Massanutten Vacation House
Located on a cul-de-sac within the gates of Massanutten Resort, this 3 bedroom, 3 bath house backs up to green space and looks over the house on the opposite side of the street for a beautiful sunrise view of the mountains.
Rock in the rocking chairs on the covered front porch or sit on the back deck and enjoy the peaceful sound of the water running into the water garden topped with lily pads and water lilies (water lilies open or bloom in the morning and close at night, what a sight to see!)
The 5 person Hot Tub is located just off the back deck.
Either grill out on the large 4 burner gas grill or cook in the well equipped kitchen.
Dining Table seats 6 people comfortably with two other card tables and chairs available if needed. (I say if needed because in our family, the men prefer to use the fold out TV Trays instead.) There is also a table located on the back deck just off the kitchen that seats 4.

Linens provided for all beds along with freshly washed duvet covers
Master On-suite - Queen Bed, dresser, private bath with double vanity, and open closet area
Main Floor HUGE Bedroom Great for Teens and Kids - Two Oversized Bunkbeds(Each Bunk bed sleeps 3 with a full bed upgraded mattress on bottom and a twin upgraded mattress on top), a dresser. This room has a couch and Smart TV with HDMI Cord for Game hookup. Also choose from the many board games or books for genuine family time!
Downstairs Bedroom - Queen Bed, dresser, and closet. This Bedroom is adjacent to the downstairs bathroom.
Depending on preference, There is also a sofa bed in the downstairs sitting room which includes an elliptical machine and TV.
Common spaces include
1.The main floor area 2 couches, 1 armchairs, TV with Cable, Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Capabilities and vent less gas logs
2. A couch and sitting area in the large Bedroom where the XBox game system is located
3. The downstairs area with sofa bed, TV/DVD with cable.
4. Newly Renovated Game Room - This includes plenty of seating with a professional size pool table, competition size ping pong table, air hockey table, Classic arcade game with 60 games, smart tv with cable
5. And don't forget Basketball in the cut-de-sac.
The game room was renovated from the two car garage, but for storage, we have a ski rack, snow board wall rack and plenty of space around the game tables to store bikes.

There are short-term rentals in all MPOA neighborhoods, but people also live here. Your nearby neighbors may be full-time residents, including families with children, retirees, or owners of second homes enjoying their retreat. NOISE
Noise that is unreasonable in the judgement of MPOA or its designated agent is prohibited at any time. Quiet Hours are between 10PM and 7AM.
PARKING
All tires must be off the roadway. DO NOT BLOCK FIRE HYDRANTS! Our private neighborhood roads are “highways” for law enforcement purposes per Rockingham County ordinance.
Do not park adjacent to any other homes or lots unless this home’s owner or property manager has told you he/she has explicit permission for you to do so.
Parking rules violators may be subject to having their vehicles towed.
If you cannot park all your vehicles on this property or on the adjoining shoulder of the road, overflow parking is available at the MPOA Owners’ Swimming Pool parking lot at 4007 Peak Drive.
NOTE: Buses, campers, and RV’s may not be parked at houses or along neighborhood roads. With prior MPOA approval, they may be parked in the overflow lot during your stay.

This property is perfect if you have multiple kids you are staying with. The game room is great, house was clean, they also provide you with enough supplies and location is amazing! Cons- AC must have been pre controlled, we were staying with 10 people and the house was always hot except at night. We tried to lower the AC but it would not. The house maintained over 75 degrees during our stay and most days it was 78-80 degrees at mid day. Also, the house needs some upgrades- the sink faucet is broken - handling fell off constantly, outdated decor (we didn't mind) and fridge/freezer did not freeze things. We would stay again, overall good stay!

We were able to really relax here. The beds were super comfortable and the family area/kitchen was a terrific place to hang out. Loved the hot tub.

Love the property but some repairs needs to be addressed on property. One room did have a tv in it. Besides those little things my family and I had a wonderful time with the game room, hot tub, basketball court and grill.

The property had lots of fun things for our kids to do, from the game room, to the hot tub, to the basketball hoop. The location was great right in the resort. A few things could be updated in the house, but overall it was great.

Kevin was a great host. We had to reach out to him as soon as we checked in with a minor issue. Not only did he respond right away but there was a maintenance guy there within the hour. Perfect place to stay for JMU graduation. We had 2 families staying, total of 8 of us and we all loved it! The pictures just don’t do it justice and the game room was so much fun! Would definitely stay there again!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this property. It is located in an easily accessible part of the resort and sits in a cul-de-sac that afforded us adequate privacy for some rest and relaxation. Highly recommend and will definitely book here again!

We loved our stay from the minute we arrived to the minute we left! Playing ping pong, air hockey, and shooting pool with our adult children and grandchildren was something we will never forget. The house was clean and well maintained. We plan to come back.

There were a few things that needed to be fixed, but there was no place to put annotate notes, please email me and I will let you know the items.
We completely missed the fact we could use the swimming pool, as it wasn't listed in the binder on where to find the pool pass. The driveway was completely iced over, and we couldn't park in the driveway but at the bottom and we brough a 4wd truck.

This was our second stay at Camelot and it continues to be one of our favorites. It was perfect for our family of 9 and pups! The kids love the hot tub and the game room. The kitchen and dining area was great too. What a wonderful place to enjoy the holidays with family of various ages!

We stayed here for my son's birthday. The space was a great spot as the game room gave everyone a place to hang out and talk. It was also great that it was in a separate area downstairs with doors so you could go into another room and not hear the chatter from upstairs. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home 🏡

This place was perfect for relaxing in the amazing hot tub, playing air hockey, pool and arcade games, or enjoying the sights & sounds of the outdoors on the front porch or back deck. The only down fall was the kitchen ware, the pots & pans were limited, only one potholder, no scissors and no cookie sheet. Outside of those minimal inconveniences, it was a great time had by all!

It was a nice property with plenty of activities - the game room was fun. It was great to relax in the hot tub at the end of the day. Very close to hiking and some nice breweries and wineries. Kevin was very responsive to me and made everything easy for our stay.

The house was clean and comfortable, in a beautiful setting in Massanutten. We were visiting our freshman daughter for Family Weekend and we enjoyed having a nice place to all relax together. And she enjoyed a break from dorm living. It was easy for us to drive into downtown Harrisonburg for the day. And there was also convenient shopping and eating near the house. Would stay there again.

I am a nurse living in Richmond who grew up in rural TN. This was the perfect escape for my family, including grandpa (my dad) from TN. My 11 yr old got the water park, and my 7 yr old could stay with me and play games or watch for deer.
Host was extremely responsive, and house has a great, comfortable feel. One of my best VRBO experiences!

This was our first family vacation to Massanutten. My husband, 2 small children, myself, my aunt and teen niece. We had ages ranging from 63 down to 9 and the home offered enough space and amenities for everyone. The home was also clean and orderly when we arrived. Great home. Being in the resort was a bonus as there were so many things to do without going very far. We definitely plan on coming back to Massanutten and hopefully staying in this home again. I highly recommend this one. It’s a great family vacation home.

We stayed at this property for a summer vacation last year and this year. It is a great layout for a fairly large family like ours (mom, dad, two teens, a 7 year old, and our youngest turned 4 during our trip). The teens share the bunk room and can hang out together playing video games or each retreat to their end of the room and have a decent amount of privacy. The house is within the gates of the Massanutten resort and is centrally located to the pool, mini golf, family adventure park, gift shop, water park, etc. We went to Harrisonburg a few evenings to do an escape room (highly recommend Escapism Escape Rooms to other guests!) and an arcade with duck pin bowling and pool (also highly recommend Ruby's in downtown Hburg - it's free all you can play on Tuesday nights, by the way). We took the little ones to one of the playgrounds in Massanutten one evening as well. We did a day trip to Luray Caverns and everyone loved that too. Just like last year, we really liked having the game room to unwind after the little kids went to bed. The kitchen had everything we needed. We didn't get to use the hot tub this time, but we will definitely be back. Camelot House has become our vacation destination of choice.

We returned to this property for the sleeping accommodations for 3 families and the game room. Hands down the game room is a hit for all ages. The new blackstone grill and utensils was fantastic!!! Hot tub was clean and well “ chemicalized”.

We have stayed at this property two times now for our daughter’s winter break. We love how well equipped the home is. The rooms are comfortable and the game room is truly a bonus! Also, the hot tub is well-maintained and feels amazing after a day of skiing.

So the house itself? Great. Great location, great amenities, awesome game room. Now for the not so good. As soon as we got there we saw a pile of dirty towels on the floor next to the bedroom. On further inspection, we found the beds unmade and the sheets not washed with dog hair on them. Texted the property manager through the app as soon as we saw this and never got a response. But hey, we’re here for vacation and we’re still gonna have a good time. But wait, it gets worse. When we got home I realized I had left a lock box under the bed. I called the property manager this time and he did pick up right away and offered to ship it back or I could come back and grab it. Decided to drive the 1.5 hours back to get it just to find it had been stolen by one of the cleaners. Had to file a police report and subsequently found out the cleaner was a convicted felon. Eventually I did get my stuff back, but never did get an apology from the property manager or an offer for a refund.

The house is very close to the ski slopes, tubing, and water park. The game room was fantastic for kids (and adults)! The house was clean and fully stocked. I only wish I brought our "travel pan" as the pans in the house were well-used. If we venture to Massanutten again, we will definitely booking at this house!
