We had a great time at this homely feeling hotel. It’s quite small with only a few rooms. The room we stayed in, however, was quite nicely sized for two adults.
We also got to enjoy a big balcony.
The whole room was quite modern from the wellness shower we were pleasantly surprised by to the Smart TV and touch control AC Unit.
The included breakfast was good, it even had vegan options and I got to enjoy an Oat Milk Cappuccino for breakfast.
The best thing, however, is the proximity to the beach. It’s just a few meters away from the property.
I also need to tell you, that the staff was incredibly helpful and sweet with anything we needed. I will definitely be back.
There were some constructions while we were there but only during the daytime and it wasn’t really noticeable. The walls are kinda thin so you can hear when someone is talking outside of your room. That wasn’t a problem at all though and you can’t hear them if they are in their rooms.

Nice idea but no resources
It wasn’t the Mondello Palace Hotel, it was a different hotel. 4 stars Mondello Palace Hotel is closed, but for any reason we were resent to this B&b hotel.

Staff was ok and breakfast ok
The bathroom ceiling was leaking and it smelled of moisture in the room. They could not give us another room because it was full. The room on top of ours also had a leak.

Quality accommodation close to the beach. Staff very helpful. Lovely to have breakfast in the garden. Access to the private beach is very useful.
Room maintenance needs attention. Toilet seat was broken and strong unpleasant smell from aircon and drains in bathroom.

NOTHING! The hotel was closed!!!! We booked it through Booking.com and on arrival at virtually midnight find the hotel was totally closed down. Directed to another 'B&B' which was 'virtual' ie nobody there. Eventually got in to find this was also being refurbished! Even had to break down a builders cellophane barrier to be able to get upstairs to the room! After a knock on the door at 0900 to ask us to go down to breakfast, found breakfast was either croissant or croissant!
So no large hotel with food and bar facilities, no swimming pool no breakfast facilities etc etc.
All in all it was utterly unbelievable and a total con - plus I was charged for the price of the 'closed' hotel when whwere we stayed was actually cheaper.
On looking the next day to see if the website still had the Modello on the website - they were now offering 'Black Friday' deals for the closed hotel!! Amazing!
Very very disgruntled customer.....
