Very romantic location, beautiful village and perfect spot near the River.
4.1
Good location in the heart of the village. Comfortable beds. Two bathrooms. Air conditioning in the bedroom.
Our apartment (Le Narcisse) was outside the hotel next to a busy restaurant. Our terrace got very hot and also noisy. To get to the swimming pool we had to walk right round the hotel building and unlock the main entrance door - so you couldn’t go for a swim with just a costume and towel. The apartment was very poorly equipped, for example no corkscrew or breadboard. We were asked to clean the kitchen and bathroom, but there were no cleaning materials. There was an impersonal feel to the place.
4.1
Location, comfortable beds, a/c in our apartment, working kitchen and good size fridge, access to swimming pool.
Water and some essential items for cooking like salt/pepper would be great if already provided.
4.1
Lovely location in the center of town.
Very helpful owner who organised me a taxi.
There was no shower or airconditioner.
It the European summer that is so hot - it was not ideal.

This place is a little oasis. So clean and tidy. The gentleman who met us was extremely kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Our apartment was perfect for us and our dog. The swimming pool was much appreciated as it was so hot while we were there. Would definitely return for a longer stay.
Nothing.

We were blown away by our apartment. The views from every room were remarkable. The furniture was lovely and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen facilities are very good. Dominique is an excellent host. The pool was a bonus.

The location is beautiful with beautiful views of the river.

Everything! Beautiful location, Stunning property, especially at the price we paid. Host couldn't have been more welcoming and charming, the best in all our extensive travels. Dominique, thank you.
Be aware that the property car parking is a few hundred metres away and up a slope. You can drop off bags at the property but have to move the car afterwards.

stunning location, private courtyard, very quiet, secure storage for bicycles
crockery & cutlery insufficient for size of apartment. a number of items were chipped, cracked and damaged. I found the main bed too soft for 2 people and a tendency to roll to the middle so we slept in separate beds our second night.

The location cannot get better. The stuff was nice. The studio has all the facilities you need to stay there for a couple of days.
The mattress/bed was not good. We were two, and we were like always getting absorbed by the centre of the bed.

Perfect centric location with all amenities for a comfortable stay. Privilege to stay in medieval buildings feeling relax and inspired.

The location is unbeatable, Aigueze is incredibly picturesque and right on the Ardeche. The pool in the main part of the building is lovely and the property is full of character. It feels like you're basically staying in the castle. Quite delightful. Aigueze doesn't have a lot of restaurants (it's tiny) but the three main ones offer a sufficient breadth of variety to please most visitors. Being largely traffic-free is also great and the included secure parking just outside the village is a welcome plus. The host is very friendly and extremely helpful.
We rented two apartments - the Lavender apartment and one whose name I forget off the main courtyard by the pool. The lavender one was the much more modern looking of the two, with the courtyard one looking somewhat dated although that's compensated by the lovely courtyard location. The place seems like it might have fallen on hard times, perhaps as a result of covid. Despite the suggestion of breakfast for an additional fee we saw no evidence of it being provided to anyone. Moreover the breakfast room was locked up and full of clutter. This wasn't really an issue for us, however the main problem is the lack of air conditioning. In milder weather the rooms would be great but in a heatwave the overnight temperatures were pretty unbearable. Given the location I assume they can't just knock holes in the walls to fit air conditioners. Large electric fans are provided, but these really were not adequate - and the upstairs room in the Lavender apartment was absolutely suffocating and unusable. The TV also did not seem to work but again not something we cared about so we didn't to try to get it fixed.

The apartment was very central in the village.
Car parking was separate to the apartment.

Great place in a beautiful town. Charming view from the terrace and nice pool in the courtyard. Good base for exploring the area; convenient parking space in a lockable car park.
4.1
The location despite the fact that I could not park
I could not open the window. The room was extremely stuffy
4.1
Extremely hot temperatures are to be considered as there is no air conditioning in place

great location
didn’t like view from room looking into wall. very disappointed that I wasn’t near the pool as I booked in February.
4.1
There were few places open for breakfast.
4.1
Great location in the centre of a beautiful village. Guest parking.
Not much. Maybe the breakfast. It is OK but overpriced especially when compared to the incredibly low price you pay for the room.
4.1
Amazingly wonderful accommodation in an amazing village. We enjoyed walking around and discovering the history, the views...well above the river. Craggy cliffs, just super. And good restaurants and bars within short walking distance. We plan to return!!!

An apartment in the winding streets of Aiguize, a pretty medieval village accessed by a flight of stairs. One bedroom with a large comfortable bed with en-suite bathroom, full size bath, with handheld rubber hose shower attachment. Kitchen/ living area with hob, microwave, toaster, coffee filter machine, and fridge freezer. Lots of kitchen utensils and pots and pans etc. Upstairs a second bedroom with three single beds, shower needing to step up to, with handheld shower. Good water pressure, plenty of hot water. Pleasant pool area just 50m away, with sun beds etc
Shortage of electricity points in the living area. The settee and armchairs were pretty worn and not comfortable.
4.1
view, location, close to Ardeche river, swimming pool
no room cleaning, no wifi (disrupted for a week), no breakfast (or any catering)
4.1
Stunning and authentic environment.
Maybe we would have liked a satay / sofa in the apartment
