The freezer door was not closed properly & thus defrosting, lots of melting ice.

Disappointing

- Gorgeous views - Large entertainment areas - Large bedrooms with views - Modern kitchen and bathrooms

Disappointed as house didn’t match the photos - house was cluttered - a lot of personal artifacts (family photos on the fridge) - fireplace didn’t have enough wood for a fire (no newspaper, no kindling, not enough logs) - freezer was full of personal items - glasses and cutlery were dirty - couldn’t get the sound system to work after following instructions - ducted heating didn’t work on middle floor - nothing locked, not even the front door (we weren’t given keys) - in the booking description, there was no mention of a 2 night minimum stay or - tricky access to property (steep driveway) nor information about inclinator (only 24hrs before arrival were we informed about this) - with the expectation of how many people this property sleeps, we expected more than 1 adult kayak Because of these issues, I believe it’s not worth the nightly rate.

Great property in a quiet waterfront town.

Location was divine. Right on the water at Cottage Point. The pontoon jetty was perfect for our group to hang out and float on the river. The bedrooms are on a separate level to the living area and kitchen which is perfect for a large group. The inclinator is a funny old time! Something we hadn't done before.
