This 3,450 square foot home features a fully equipped kitchen and lake views from most rooms. The main floor includes the kitchen, a half bath, master suite with jacuzzi tub and shower. Also, on the main level are living room, multiple dining areas, and a large sun room. Adjacent to the living room is an open air sun deck. Upstairs are two bedrooms and a full bath. The first bedroom has a queen bed; the second has two twin beds.
Gather the family in the basement TV room and relax in the comfy reclining couches. What a great place for a movie night or enjoying a game on the big screen. The downstairs level features a Twin XL over Queen Bunk bed, a Queen size Murphy cabinet bed and a Queen size private bedroom. There is also a laundry room with a full size washer, dryer and laundry sink. This level has its own bathroom with shower. Exit from the basement to the lower covered deck. An outdoor shower with hot and cold water is available for rinsing off after a day at the lake. From there it's just a short walk to the fire pit and another large sun deck that overlooks the water. Take a stroll down the waterfront path that leads to a spacious landing area. Lounge, swim and enjoy!

communication with owners was excellent. home was beautiful and even bigger in person than it seemed in the pictures.we had 10 people total overnight plus several more telativrs for dinner with plenty of room. kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed (though i did bring a margarita machine!)
definitely bring water shoes if you plan to swim down in the lake. we brought floats and beach towels also which were nice to have. the area is very “buggy” so i suggest citronella candles and raid for the outdoor open patio or don’t deal with that and enjoy the enclosed patio.
House has lots of games, kids books, and movies. Excellent choice for families. we would absolutely stay here again!

The home was just as described, beautiful, very clean, updated. The kitchen was well equipped per my family members that cooked!! Everything we had wanted and hoped for. The sunsets were spectacular. We were there in June so Hot! The air conditioned sun room was fantastic! My favorite place!!! We are already planning to return. This place is a jewel!!!

Our family of 12 loved relaxing in this spacious three story house. It was quiet and peaceful. We fished every day and enjoyed home cooked meals every night in the well equipped kitchen. The porches had perfect views of the lake and we enjoyed nights around the fire, grilling out and playing games. One day we went antiquing and another we visited a near by distillery. There were plenty of places to hike and enjoy the outdoors. This lovely house had plenty of space for us to also have down-time and play with our grandkids. The owners were very good at communication and although all are needs were already met, I know they would have done anything to help accommodate us had we been in need. If ever we are in the area again we hope this place is available for our family to stay!

This house is beautiful and spacious. The kitchen is fully equipped. The beds are comfortable and the towels are plenty. The view is gorgeous from the sunroom, upper deck, lower deck, fire pit, outside deck, and by the water. There are board games, an arcade, and streaming movies or shows works. We caught catfish, crappe, and bass. There was lots of firewood and the charcoal grill was a plus. The kiddos loved the jacuzzi tub in the on suite bathroom. We love this house and plan to visit again. The owner was quick to respond to any questions.

This home is so beautiful and we all felt so at peace. It is very well stocked and thought out. The views are absolutely stunning, and from the back deck, sunroom, or bottom deck, you can't go wrong with a peaceful place to relax.
The home is full of games, for both adults and children. The hosts are so sweet and made sure we had everything we needed every step of the way. If you are looking for a nice getaway, I cannot recommend this place enough! My friends and I hope to come back with our families again.

We love this house and hosts! We have rented it several times and have already booked again. The kitchen is well equipped, the views are amazing, there is enough internet to stream a movie, and there is a DVD player and DVDs to watch movies. The fire pit is super comfortable with lots of fire wood available. The jacuzzi tub is a huge hit with all of us. The fishing is great! There are two dining area options, great seating areas inside and out, and plenty of bathrooms. Sarah is very communicative and so helpful. If you are looking for a property in Cadiz don't hesitate. This house is wonderful and has everything you could need and want.

We loved this property and have immediately planned to return. The kitchen is fully stocked (better than any other property we've stayed, and the floor plan is ideal for gatherings. The sunroom and back patio are great for bird watching and enjoying the beautiful water views. Beds were comfortable (even the twins), showers good and the property owners were great to answer questions promptly. Paper products, towels, soap - all well stocked, and we all found this property clean and comfortable. Also, it's a beautiful 40 minute drive to Patty's 1880 Restaurant. Beautiful location! Comfortable for our large group ( 6 adults and 6 kids 8 years old and under). Understandably, being a lake house, the back decks were a bit outdoor dirty, bugs and such, but it is understandable ! The owners were fabulous communicators ,and even texted us to say the house was ready early for us to check in! Kitchen was pretty well stocked, but I did bring a few of my own kitchen tools with me just in case. Grocery stores are a bit of a drive and small, so I was also glad I did the majority of my grocery shopping at home and packed the car full! The sunsets are gorgeous and so fun to see the boats and barges! We even got a few barges to blow their horns for us! The birds are in abundance and being avid bird people , we loved it, pelicans, eagles, egrets, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, blue jays and more… saw a turtle too and even a coyote came by! Lots of deer as we drove in and out of the neighborhood. We all enjoyed our time and plan to return!

We really enjoyed watching the wildlife and also the barges that travel up and down the river. And the sunsets were magnificent. We would definitely make a return visit.

We have a large family and this place was perfect for us. The views were outstanding, and the children were thrilled to see the paddleboats and barges quietly pass by and exchange a wave with us. Everything was very peaceful and quiet. We couldn't ask for better accommodations. the shoreline is quite steep, so you are definitely going to want to be there when the little ones are wanting to fish, but we all had a good time. There was lots of room for everyone to sleep, and the kitchen was very well equipped. Outstanding views and beautiful sunsets over the lake. I highly recommend this property!

Not sure how this got rated 5 stars previously - Beautiful view and dirty and mouse infested
Upon arriving there was dried icing on the couch cover which I had to throw in the washing machine. There are 4 big pillows to prop behind your back but not enough for everyone very uncomfortable couches not relaxing at all. The house is older, but remodeled. The master bath was nice but the first thing I noticed was a long black hair on the tub, edges around the shower were filthy, not clean at all as expected. Arrived late evening upon going to bed the kids said there were crumbs in the bunk beds thinking they had no idea I looked, there was food & mouse poop everywhere inside the sheets. Downstairs bathroom & laundry also had mouse poop. We immediately moved to the upstairs bedrooms, the landing on the stairs had so many dead bugs it was utterly disgusting also. The upstairs bathroom had filth and hair behind the door, in the tub and dead bugs on the sink. Mouse poop was also in the master bedroom and under the kitchen sink. I texted the owners, they were very responsive had the cleaning ladies come to address areas that we noted but the house was still not clean. A pest control person put out black boxes for the mice which was reassuring but it did not make our trip better. I hate mice. We had so much money invested in our stay that we couldn’t afford to leave and go somewhere else, the owners didn't offer to return our money. They did offer to reimburse our cleaning fee but it wasn’t worth the money for another family to have the same experience we did:( The area was fun, loved the UTV trails and the view of the lake view from this house. Big barges & boats go right in front of the enclosed porch that was neat to see. The amount of dead bugs and grim on the open porches were so thick that you couldn’t even go out there to enjoy the view. I am not one to leave bad reviews and hate to have to leave this bad review but our vacation was not as enjoyable by not being able to come back to a comfortable clean home after a long hot day of UTV riding. The air conditioning worked well. To be noted, wishing I could blame this on my kids but I was cleaning my purse out while sitting on the couch and gently threw a package of baby wipes on the glass end table and the glass popped breaking off a chunk thankful for the insurance thru VRBO. The owners were understanding. I have rented other houses thru VRBO with great success but I cannot recommend this house and will not be back. I just don't want others to experience what we went thru. Happy vacationing:)

Communication with the owners was fantastic. They were super quick to respond and were very accommodating. The property is beautiful and the views were gorgeous. The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens we’ve ever seen in a rental. We were able to use the fire pit and watch sunsets from the deck and loved every minute of it. The bed and couches in the basement could stand to be replaced. Overall, we highly recommend renting this home, and we will probably be back! Thanks for letting us enjoy the property!

We all got some much needed R and R. Everything was very nice. There were 10 of us and we had plenty of room to spread out. We did quite a bit of cooking and found the kitchen to be fully stocked. All in all it was a very nice get-away!

Location rules and family friendly
We are happy to have chose this home last-minute when the weather forecast was unfavorable for our tent-camping plans! So it was very important to choose a home that we would enjoy despite the weather. And this home was it. It was a blast for the kids to play foosball and air hockey and to browse the owner’s collection of games and children’s books. And for our whole family, we could enjoy that main channel view relaxing in the sunroom. Let the rain and wind come! The weather still allowed times for us to roast marshmallows, fish, and sit outside with wildlife. We watched a goose with her goslings in the yard, an eagle soar past, and various waterfowl on the lake. We also enjoyed watching the occasional barge go by as well as the American Countess riverboat. We would stay here again.

Lake House Bliss
The house is beautiful! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook and bake. The lake view is visible from the upper deck, sunroom, lower deck, and master bedroom. The fire pit and grill are a wonderful way to spend the evening. The water was warm and we enjoy swimming in it. There are board games, air hockey, football, cable, and DVD players. We enjoyed plenty of towels and the laundry detergent provided making laundry easy, which is a must with kiddos. We LOVE this house and this was our second stay. The kids have asked it be a family tradition to go to this lake house. The owners left us a welcome basket of s’more fixings and are responsive to texts. If you are looking for a wonderful vacation house definitely book :).

GREAT place for kiddos!
We had two families and between us, 7 kids. Everyone had their own bed, and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space! All of the decks and porches were awesome, and we can’t wait to go back when it’s a little warmer to soak up some more outside time!
