Everything was amazing. We were in Idaho for a wedding and this was the perfect respite spot before all the activities. We hiked we biked we saw the sights. Deborah was great with adding additional ideas.. as we did ourselves in journal. Great location had everything we needed. Deborah was a great host. WE LOVE IDAHO .. so we’ll be back

So clean and comfy! Gorgeous views of sunset over the lake. We enjoyed meals outside on the deck and chilling in the hammock.

Quiet and peaceful!

Everything was clean neat and perfect. Right away when we checked in it instantly felt like a home away from home the baked goods were wonderful we enjoyed them and the milk. Bed was comfortable and cozy. The view off deck was beautiful. Kitchen was great we enjoyed making breakfast in it. Thank you for hospitality we would come back again.

Although our stay was only for the weekend, we found the Hayden Lake Retreat to be the perfect "home away from home!" It was peaceful and relaxing, and we were very impressed by how immaculate this little retreat was. Everything was spotless and the attention to detail was five-star. We loved the delicious "welcome treats" and we were pleasantly surprised to find a fresh quart of milk in the fridge for our use - the one thing we forgot to bring for our English Breakfast cups of tea!! We also really appreciated the filtered water, which is often not available in other places. The queen bed was super comfortable and, in spite of the rainy weekend, we enjoyed the amazing views once the fog cleared. Thank you to our hosts, Deborah & Damien, for a wonderful stay - we hope to be back again for a longer visit before too long!

Deborah What an absolutely wonderful place. We my husband and I spent a week in your Haydon Lake home. From the moment we walked in we felt invited, comfortable, and at home. There was a lovely plate with homemade scones and cookies waiting for us along with a sweet note welcoming us. We truly appreciated the printed out instructions for each item/thing/devices so we that we didn’t have to hunt for the information. Having a place to put our shoes/boots when we came in was much appreciated along with the coatrack. The home was immaculate, the furniture comfortable, the appliances spotless. Not only was there a basket with Biscotti, Mini candy bars, granola bars, instant oatmeal envelopes, tea bags (with sticks of honey), sugar packets and instructions where we could find the coffee pods but a quart of milk in the refrigerator. The large bedroom and large closet was so nice with all the extra blankets, coat hangers, shelves, iron and board, we were able to put all of our things away including luggage. We weren’t having to stumble through it all like you would in a hotel. The large bed was so comfortable and having table lamps on each of the nightstands was nice, we like to read at night but not necessarily at the same time. The keyless entry, and parking was so great especially with the snow. You answered all my messages so nicely and quickly. Thank you so much for all your thoughtfulness. This is going to be our go to place when we come again. Candy

My husband and I greatly enjoyed a kid-free getaway at this property! It was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the fireplace kept us cozy on a cold, icy weekend. We also loved the small extras like scones, sweet treats, and yummy tea. We definitely recommend this property!

Everything was amazing all the way down to the small details. Including the beautiful views. Clean, quiet, and very relaxing. I enjoyed the fire place as well the queen bed was very comfortable. Host are very nice and accommodating. Would absolutely recommend this place to stay!

My only regret is that I would have found this place sooner! The hosts are amazing and kind, the home is immaculate and has everything you need. The view over the lake is picture perfect. Any future trips will be booked at this home. Thanks again for having me for 2 weeks!!!!

Perfect spot for my quick business trip to CDA. Nice views of Hayden Lake and great location to get around the city easily. Property is extremely well organized and very clean. Very comfortable bed and furniture too. I didn’t use the hammock on the deck regrettably. Wi-Fi worked perfectly. I will look to stay here again in the future.

Excellent location with birdseye view of the lake and close to town. So calming and the space was perfect for my sister and I to relax. Deb was wonderful to work with and her scones were out of this world. Highly recommend this spot for a night or week or longer. Hope to be back soon.

This was a perfect place to stay while we atttended the first Modern Homesteading conference at the fair grounds. It was only 7 minutes away from the event so it was easy to run back to cool off in the air conditioning or grab a meal. The kitchenette had full size appliances. We were greeted with freshly baked scones and cookies on arrival. The bed was comfortable and the deck was perfect to have coffee and watch the sunset. Communication with the host was easy and all the little details made us feel right at home. Would love to stay here again!

Such a great home away from home. It was such a relaxing stay. The home is so beautiful the post does not do it justice and the view is amazing.

My husband, son and I stayed for a weekend and had a great experience. The space was tastefully decorated and impeccably clean, with high quality linens and mattress. The neighborhood and views were lovely. We would highly recommend this apartment!

The place was great, most of the furnishing and flooring looked new. There was everything you needed around the kitchen and the decks and views were amazing! Will definitely visit again!

This was our first experience staying at a VRBO accommodation. Hayden Lake Retreat was simply amazing. Very welcoming, warm and cozy. Hosts, Deborah and Damien, have set the bar very high. The fresh baked Orange Scones and cookies were delicious. We felt very comfortable and relaxed. We would highly recommend booking with them for your next stay in CDA/Hayden Lake area.

Beautiful location in a residential neighborhood. The basement apartment was clean and generally quiet. Large space with a lovely view of the lake.

A 5 says it all. Was better than expected and better than the pictures. Wish we had plans to return. The host does so much more to make your stay GREAT!

This has got to be one of the best VRBO finds I've ever made! The peaceful location, privacy, graciousness of the hosts were A+. My husband and I enjoyed our cocktail hour every evening on the very private deck overlooking the beautiful hills, trees, and of course Hayden Lake. We were greeted with homemade orange scones ( I asked for the recipe!), fruit, and morning snacks. Coffee was really good! We would definitely come back to this place!

This property was very clean! Nice quiet pretty neighborhood. Within short driving distance to many restaurants and local attractions. Great deck with view to sit and enjoy the morning. Property owners very quick to respond to questions. Had a great 5 day stay!

Lovely apt with wonderful patio. Hosts were great and location was nice and quiet. Easy drive of 7 minutes to downtown Coeur d’Alene.

What a beautiful setting and congenial hosts. The accommodations were impeccable, the bed was beyond everything we’d hoped for and sitting on the deck over looking the lake was beautiful and so relaxing. Deborah was an outstanding hostess, the cookies and muffins upon arrival were delicious and their recommendations for restaurants were greatly appreciated.
