Property was a great location. The house could use some updates with furniture and carpet. House had a great ac unit, kept us nice and cool.

short stay
We were not made aware of the dredging that was happening directly in front of the house. Also, called twice about the internet and TV not working, but no one fixed it nor did anyone contact me in regards to the request.

Don't stay here
Roaches, AC didn't work, keys didn't work initially (had to wait 2 hours to get keys). I refused to spend the night here because it was so nasty. I knew I wasn't paying much for a beachfront property, but I assumed the floor was higher than this.

Not a nice house to stay in a beautiful area
Pros: Excellent location and view - while you cannot go straight to the beach, the access is just one house away. Bed linens were clean. I called the property management company prior to coming- they were friendly, polite and able to answer questions. Cons: The house by itself is very dated with past water damage on popcorn ceiling, walls and floor. I don't think the carpet is cleanable - dirty old black and brown spots, squished up sofa pillows of nondescript color, and dull light in the bathrooms. Showers worked and had hot water with a light water flow (not sure it is the house or general pressure in the area). The sink plug didn't allow for a water drainage so I pulled up the plug to see the issue - it was dirty black, not cleaned for a long time. We did not cook in the house and tried not to touch the handles. Kids found a dead cockroach. The bunk beds were not properly alighted, it it looked quite dangerous for someone to sleep in the lower bunk bed. I recommend the area, but would not recommend this particular house to anyone.

Never again
TV was broken when we got there and finally fixed the day before we left. The mattresses were so uncomfortable that we all didn't sleep much or woke up with sore backs. Air conditioner broke near the end of our stay. The toaster didn't work. The flooring was raised up in spots where we almost tripped over it. (the maintenance guy came and put staples to keep it down) We would never stay here again.

The dirtiest home I’ve ever rented...
We expected an older, basic beach house from the photos. However, this house was not cleaned or maintained properly. Mold coated all of the air registers, the carpet was severely stained throughout the house, dust covered light fixtures, cabinets, and rolled around in balls on the floor. The windows were so dirty we could barely see the ocean. I finally “cleaned” the three that were accessible to me with hot water as I had no cleaning supplies. The photos showed direct beach access. I guess the photos of that are from years past? We had to get to the beach by walking down the road a bit and using the public access. The outdoor shower has to be turned on and off from under the house-so you rinse off then have to get sandy again when you run down to turn it off. There are screws coming through the railing of the porch-glad no one cut themselves on that. There are water stains in the wall and ceilings that haven’t been fixed. The back door makes a loud humming/buzzing sound when it got really windy at night. The weatherstripping is so delapidated. There was a moldy coffee filter in the coffee pot. The toaster doesn’t work unless you hold it down the whole time. The bath mat was visibly dirty. The doormats were too. The house smelled bad. The furniture was soiled-we threw sheets over it. I was so thankful that we brought our own pillows and bedding!
The ocean was beautiful though and we enjoyed that thoroughly. I just cannot believe someone would rent this house out in the state that it is in!
