Everything was absolutely wonderful from the staff to other guest.

location was good and beds were comfortable
once checked in, proceeded to the room and there wasn’t any toilet paper or towels at all in the room. called front desk and they brought them right up.
found it very weird that I had to leave the key in a holder by the door so that the lights would stay on. bathroom lights are motion sensors, therefore, they like to turn off while you are in the shower or sitting on the toilet.
Midnight shift front desk was very rude and acted like she absolutely hates her job.

Like crockery and cutlery and table and desk.
The breakfast had the biggest range of condiments we have seen.
At check-in, we were told we were not booked in. It took the lady 30 minutes to realize she booked someone with a similar name on our booking, even though she copied their ID and changed our address, phone number and card to theirs. We barely got an apology. She also lectured us on not using third party booking.

Breakfast was ok. They should keep the breakfast foods flowing. During breakfast time keep whatever it is that is being served should always be available.
The room was not vacuumed, it was a room that have pets which was fine because I had my pet, but keep it up it smelled like animals and the bedding was not clean.

We were only in Michigan one night and this room served its purpose. Also they serve hot breakfast.

The property was self contained. In other words they had everything we needed.
The only thing we didn’t like about that property was the fact that we were not able to stay another day

Great location. Very clean. Loved that they allow pets. Great room layout and amenities within room.
The breakfast was very lackluster. Definitely expected more.

The room itself was very clean and presented well upon arrival. The shower was spotless -down to the drain spotless. The bed looked and smelled clean and was very comfortable. Bathroom was huge and clean. The TV mount swivel was super convenient…and a huge bonus was the option to temporarily log into my Netflix account. The room’s kitchen area was a huge help with our leftovers from dinner and our beverages. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The pool/hot tub area was clean and spacious.
The bathroom light was connected to a motion sensor, for convenience, but the light continued to turn on all night randomly which disrupted our sleep tremendously, we ended up just closing the bathroom door. Other than a short on the motion sensor, I have no complaints about the room or property.

modern and up to date
Staff at front desk did minimal work.
not much of a greeting, didn’t inform us about breakfast, location of room or easiest way to get there…I guess we are used to hospitality and being welcomed to a hotel as a guest.

The kitchenette was fabulous, the shower in my king size bed, breaking was was fabulous with lots of choices. I loved that coffee and hot tea and ice water was available 24/7 in the comfy lobby. Also the outdoor area w fire pit was a fab surprise!!
When I entered my room it was very hot 79 degrees, I tried to turn down but no instructions and could not figure out how to turn off heat, or just have the fan, or time. Simple instructions would be useful. That was it! It was great!

Didn’t try the breakfast, but coffee was great.
My wife and I had a hard time getting to sleep due to a strong marijuana smell. We are pretty sure it was coming from a couple different rooms. The smell didn’t fade away until 2:30 a.m. We thought all rooms were smoke free.

The staff was courteous and helpful. The kitchen area in the room had everything that we needed and more. The eating area in the lobby was comfortable to work in.
The thermostat in our room was hard to control, but when I turned it off, the room temperature remained comfortable.

I liked the breakfast, the accessibility to do this with me we were attending, etc.
I had originally booked a one bedroom suite, but when I arrived, they had bumped me to a studio without my knowledge

Location was fine, never got to use my reservation thru booking.com because the hotel couldn’t find it. I travel constantly for work, and this has never happened to me before, and the staff could not have been more surly or unhelpful. They basically said they didn’t care. It was my problem and booking had to take care of it, essentially insinuating that I was stupid for using a third-party site.
Well, my first impression was, I walked up to the door. There was an older lady, very thin in tights and a long, silver winter jacket, hanging out with a male friend right outside the door, smoking like crazy. As I reached the door, she said hon, do you have a reservation? I had no idea and was flabbergasted to find out that She was actually the front desk clerk, we walked inside she just reeked of cigarette smell. Totally unacceptable and she was outright rude and the young lady that was the manager acted as if this is a big bother to her and I was interrupting her evening, unwilling to listen or help at all. She finally said she did not like my tone, I explained her I was coming off of bronchitis, and my voice was very raspy and sore. Absolutely ridiculous. I’ve never been a hotel that is supposed to be pretty nice and got such bad customer service and such uncaring people. I will not be back, and I even emailed the general manager. If I find out that Mariott doesn’t care at all, neither myself or any people from my company will be back…… and I’m a member !!!!!
