We enjoyed staying here while enjoying many outdoor experiences nearby. Sunsets are absolutely beautiful.

This little cabin is so cute and comfy; we especially enjoyed reading about the history of the family home! We enjoyed our stay - the AC units works great, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the hot tub was a nice option after a long day on the river, though several of the jets appear to be broken. We'd definitely stay here again! If the owners are interested in recommendations, I would try to embrace nature a bit more for some of your challenges with the property. Try planting native plants to provide a barrier to the weeds creeping up the hill instead of spraying with chemicals. We also noticed a lot of yellow jackets and mosquitoes. Some bat boxes and lavendar or mint would greatly help that! It would be great to harness rain water from the gutters to water beneficial native plants on the property or create a little rock garden. Thank you for a nice weekend in your beautiful cabin!

We just spent 4 days at this beautiful cabin and we were not ready to leave! My husband and I brought our 3 children ages 12-17 and we all enjoyed it. It felt very remote, yet wasn't far off the main road. The cabin was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We took full advantage of the hot tub in the evenings and sat out each morning to sip our coffee on the peaceful deck. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. The owners were very responsive and the communication was top-notch. We hope to go back to this beautiful spot someday.

We had a great 4-night stay at Tsali Sunset! While the location is just off the main road and there are a couple cabins nearby, we still felt the middle-of -the-wilderness seclusion we were hoping for! Lots of things to do within a short driving distance as well! The cabin was clean, there were plenty of towels, the kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment we would possibly need, and the sunset views were out of this world! The hot tub was absolutely amazing! Super clean, very hot, and working jets (which our last rental did not have)! A couple things to note for prospective renters: third bedroom does not have AC, master bedroom only has dvd player, and afternoon sun shines directly into the living room. I would definitely recommend for a couple or small family (we had myself, my husband, and two 5 year olds).

Location was a bit tricky to find but overall the stay was great. The cabin is furnished with everything you will need and more. Property overall is incredibly clean and scenic. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Tsali Sunset provided the perfect quick getaway for our very busy family. It was absolutely gorgeous from the cabin to the sunsets and the hot tub under the stars at night. Thank you for providing our family with the rest, rejuvenation and reconnection we desperately needed!!! We will be back for sure :)

We gladly give our stay 5/5! Everything we saw in the photos was true or even better in person. We enjoyed the hot tub, the firepit, and the stunning views of both the mountains and the starry skies which were really all our own. All three beds were reported as so comfy and cozy - we all slept great! We did some exploring right on the property, ventured into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, drove over to Asheville, and hit some quaint stores in downtown Bryson City. Heating/AC units were easy to navigate with remotes, Wifi, coffee/Kuerig maker, dishwasher, washer and dryer, TV, and microwave were all working without problems. When we had a question, it was answered very quickly. Not sure why there are so many open dates for this property...we'd absolutely book it again if/when we return (we do extensive research before we invest in a vacation). It's a perfect place to have close access to GSMNP on the peaceful southern edge without staying on the northern-edge-touristy-madness that is Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg! :) Thank you for a great 5 day retreat from reality and the busyness of everyday life!

We loved our stay! The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen had all we needed but a pizza pan. Coffee on the back porch was the perfect way to start our day and watching the sun go down from the hot tub was the perfect way to end it. I only gave 4 starts because there is a little maintenance that needs to be done in the bathroom. The shower door leaks so the wood is rotten under the shower door and the painted over wallpaper is peeling. Overall, we has a great stay and all the things that truly make a relaxing trip were perfect!!

What a great place to get away! After driving for 4 hours our brains were not functioning properly and it wouldve been helpful to have the number on the house. (Although detailed directions were provided).
It was a very clean house! Soft bed sheets! Easy check out instructions! There were basic kitchen ncessities however both manual can openers did not work. A wine bottle oepner wouldve been nice. And instructions to work the heat wouldve been nice too, we were only told they have to both be on heat or both be on cool but not how to actually do it. But overall, you cant beat it! Fantastic place!

The cabin was very comfortable, and communication with the owners was quick and easy. So much natural beauty, outdoor exploration, and mountain river fishing in the area. We used the hot tub and fire pit every evening. We would definitely recommend this location!

We love coming here each year for mountain biking at Tsali. Location cannot be beat!

This is one of the best cabins I have stayed in. Previously stayed in cabins in Servierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The views were amazing and the cabin was so well equipped and very clean. The water pressure in the shower was great too. Would thoroughly recommend this to anyone planning a trip to the Smokies.

My family stayed for three days after we had been in Gatlinburg, and I stayed for another three days and rode my motorcycle all over North Carolina. Nice view of mountains and especially great view of mountain sunsets. Place was furnished like a cabin, owners left good notes. We went swimming at a public area in Fontana lake. That was 5 to 10 minutes away. Fontana dam is about 30 minutes away. Tail of the Dragon is approximately 45 minutes away. I spent several days riding all over. Great location for riders ample space to park. Our family went white water rafting as well at Nantahala outdoor Center. This was approximately 15 minutes away. It was absolutely fantastic. Bryson city is about 15 minutes away. That’s where you would get your groceries or go to any restaurants. The place felt like home right away. Hot tub was nice and big. I highly recommend this place.

My family stayed here for 5 days and couldn't have been happier. One thing to note is that one of the bedrooms does not have A/C which in the summer months was warm.

We enjoyed our stay. The view and outdoor space was our favorite! The house offered all the necessities and space for our family. The neighboring towns were easy to get to and Gatlinburg was a nice drive. We would stay here again and recommend to future visitors.

Pretty sunsets, perfect hot tub condition, fire pit was great at night, with a trail to explore too. Clean home. 3rd bedroom with bed to fold the laundry on was a plus for our family of 5. Water got hot immediately. Beds comfortable to everyone. We enjoyed Gatlinburg, Asheville and Bryson city/Cherokee area while staying here.

We booked this place for my son’s birthday weekend. This place was extremely easily accessible for those without AWD and conveniently located right off the highway but still felt somewhat isolated. We enjoyed the gorgeous sunset views (truly they are incredible from the porch and hot tub!), the beds were SO comfortable, and it really was just an overall comfy stay. The hosts were very communicative and we didn’t face any issues during our time there. The only regret we had was not being able to stay longer. We hope to return SOON! Thank you!!!

The house was super cute. Hot tub is really big and roomy, but the jets don’t work as well as I would have liked. The grill was way smaller than we expected, but that was just a personal preference. Love looking at the guest binder and reading about the history behind the house & owners! Overall we had a great time and will be back to stay here again!

Just a short vacation for two. The views were amazing but still had easy access to the highway. We didn’t use the kitchen but seemed to have everything you would need. We would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay! We came for the Polar Express train ride in nearby Bryson City. This cabin was perfect. About 15 minutes from the train parking. Very comfortable beds, very well-stocked kitchen and pantry, warm & cozy. The hot tub has a killer view! We hiked into the woods a bit and enjoyed it. We would definitely stay here again!

Thank you so much for sharing your warm home with us. Every little detail we could have asked for was fully taken care of. I especially loved that your home has been passed down for generations and loved the history. The area is beyond exquisite with extreme privacy and QUIET! (Big difference from Atlanta). The views were breathtaking regardless of the time of day. We also looked at your pamphlets for some ideas of things to do in the area.

Perfect mountain getaway. We came to ride the polar express and it was perfect for us. I love that access to the house was easy as well. But yet still had beautiful view of the mountains.

Really enjoyed our stay, very relaxing. So conveniently located close to everything. Food, groceries, downtown Bryson City all within 10-15 minutes. This cabin was easy to locate, it wasn’t up a mountain with a steep driveway but felt completely isolated. The cabin was well stocked with everything you could need. I loved the hot tub overlooking the mountains. I wish I had more time to sit by the fire and eat s’mores!!

This cabin is everything that we were looking for to celebrate our 20 year anniversary! Perfect location with an awesome view! Hot tub was perfect along with the firepit to end a day of sightseeing! Only a few miles from Bryson City. Owners were very timely with their responses and very helpful with suggestions on restaurants in the area. If you are looking a peaceful mountain retreat then I highly suggest this one! You will not be disappointed.

Quaint and simple cabin, nostalgic decor you can tell hold memories. Kitchen and pantry stocked. Plenty of towels. Easy access and starry nights. Host was responsive when we couldn't figure out the heaters - written instructions in the house notebook would have been helpful.
Interior lighting needs improvement - there is no light at the bathroom vanity, my husband shaved in the hall with a handheld mirror we had; the floor lamp in the dining area has no working switch, you have to plug/unplug to use; and there needs to be a table lamp next to the couch.

My family really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and great communication with hosts. Beautiful view from porch and hot tub.
