The swimming pool and private beach
The price of the breakfast
6.0 / 10.0
Beautiful pool area, the terrazza is stunning and the access to a private beach was good.
Value for money is terrible. Every drink and meal is pricey, even water! Sometimes you just want want a sandwich or a coffee but there is no menu that caters for that. Breakfast is 29 euros a head even if you have a slice of toast… a gin and tonic is pushing 20 euros… it feels pretentious. I can just about get on board with the prices as long as the service is great but frankly, it wasn’t. I am English, I don’t speak French and maybe that was the bulk of it, but being made to feel like you are a hindrance is not acceptable if you are charging top dollar.
Also, rooms are dated. Clean, but dated.

The location was amazing directly onto the beach and access to the sea. lovely views and position
The location was a surprise next to a busy road and petrol station. However for most of the time it was quiet. The walk in to the town was not so nice as there was a lot of traffic and there were road works to the pavements and so not easy.

clean friendly and an amazing restaurant

Very distinguished hotel, I would assume it to be a 5-star hotel from my expression. The food is excellent and I recommend both dinner and breakfast there.
A small detriment was that some employees did not speak English and seemed to ignore me for not speaking French.

Room was exceptional and hotel reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. Location even though it is about a 20 minute walk to town was good. View from our room was excellent.
The restaurant staff treated us with complete contempt - ignored us and took about 40 minutes to give us the menu even though we had asked for it twice. It arrived with out a wine list which took another 15 minutes to arrive. The restaurant was not full. This made the stay very negative. Finally when our meal arrived it was cold! The impression from the restaurant (which we visited twice) made a very bad impression on our stay. Other customers were treated with respect. Was it that we are not fluent in French?

Very nice location on the terrace
Our room was next to the terrace , you could hear people talking in the evening , and for breakfast etc
Unfortunately our dinner on that terrace was that evening a disaster , starter arrived only by asking a few times the main courses were both unfortunately cold , we had to send it 2 times back . And we are talking about a high end restaurant . Spoilt our evening

Nothing went well - our entire stay was ruined
We were put in Room 5 which, unbeknown to us, is a very noisy room in that the dinner and breakfast service table runs along the outside wall of Room 5 which is in fact the same wall on which the bed is situated. So my wife and I were woken up shortly after 05.30 as the staff set up for breakfast setting down large numbers of plates, cups and saucers, glasses, utensils etc on the table outside our room.
All the Hotel Staff are aware that the Room is very noisy but no-one told us of this at the time of booking or on check-in

Loved the view, loved the balcony with it's outdoor bed, chairs, and tables. I also loved all the storage - I love to unpack!
I can't think of anything I didn't like.

It is in a great position and our room was fantastic: comfortable, smart, well equipped and cool. Excellent air conditioning! we also loved the extra details: bikes provided to get into town, sea shoes provided in all sizes for sea swimming..

Beautiful sea view and outside dining with heater.
Great location to walk into centre of Ajaccio
No full length mirror in bedroom. Limited dinner menu and insufficient mixed vegetables.

Beautiful bijou property with stunning views. Menu is limited and some dishes are fabulous eg octopus and prawn and risotto dish with a couple of others slightly underwhelming for the price eg the sea bass. Downstairs rooms with access to the pool are lovely but we suffered from chain smokers either side. Whilst there is a good breakfast menu was disappointed that an omelette could not be accommodated. Wine recommendations excellent. Overall a beautiful spot with pool and access to a beach area.

This hotel was just divine. The location is incredible, right on a little stretch of private beach. There is also a marvellous outdoor pool area which is very lovely too.
The hotel restaurant is Michelin starred and therefore suitably brilliant. The staff were all so absolutely adorable and totally helpful and charming. All in all, a relaxed but luxury experience that I hope to come back to again.

Great location, pool and views. Everything was very luxurious. Above all, what stood out was the fantastic service. Wished we could have stayed longer!
The parking is small and difficult to get in/out. We wanted to eat at the restaurant, but it was booked out - so plan to book ahead!
