About this apartment rental
Summary:
The property is in the historic medieval centre of Macclesfield, with the building believed to date back to 1588. Originally an Inn, and in more recent years surveyor's offices, the building has undergone a significant and sympathetic renovation to provide a stylish serviced apartment in this characterful Grade II listed site.
The Space:
Churchside Apartments are right in the centre of Macclesfield, adjacent to the Market Square, with wonderful views of the 12th Century St Michael's Church. Conveniently located a short walk from the train station with excellent connections to Manchester, London and beyond.
The Neighborhood:
Being in the heart of Macclesfield you'll have a wide choice of cafe's restaurants and bars, as well as several supermarkets. All within a short walk.
The apartment is on the Market Square placing you close to the town centre amenities including the train station and public car parks.
Getting Around:
Parking for Churchside:
Churchside (postcode SK10 1HW for sat-nav) forms part of the Town Centre Pedestrianised Zone. Between the hours of 11.00am to 16:00pm no vehicular access can be gained directly to Churchside. However there are several car-parks close by. The closest of which is Waters Green Car Park (use post code SK11 6JZ for satnav) which is a 1 min walk away. Please note, although this car park is close by, there is a short but steep hill to the apartment, so if you think this may be an issue with your luggage, please get in touch and I can advise on alternative arrangements.
If you are arriving outside of the pedestrianised hours then you will be able to drive up to the apartment door whilst you un-load your luggage. Please note that you will have to move your car to a near-by car park after un-loading.
Interaction with Guests:
I live nearby, so I'm on hand if required.
