About this apartment rental
One bed room and bath with private entrance in quiet neighborhood. Ten minutes to Sullivans Island and 10 minutes to downtown Charleston. Five minutes to Shem Creek. Queen bed with in room refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Neighborhood is walking friendly. Great location for easy access to all area attractions. Tesla owners, feel free to plug in for the night and start your day with a full charge. Town of Mount Pleasant license #ST240299 and business license #20128153

The host was very hospitable and kind. We were greeted at the house when we arrived and helpful information was placed inside for us to find. The space was small, but exactly as advertised. We were pleasantly surprised at the ease of access to the space and proximity to a variety of activities and amenities. We thought that if we were to consider moving to the Charleston area this neighborhood would be a great place to start looking. We enjoyed our stay and would book again in the future.

Close to beaches, Boone Hall Plantation and great restaurants. Very clean and well furnished. As an FYI - this is a smaller VRBO that is part of the main house. Owner communicated well and ensured we were well taken care of.

The property was exactly as described. The location is perfect for visits to IOP, Charleston, etc! David was great to deal with and ensured we had all we needed! We will stay again on our next trip to the Charleston area. Perfect space for two adults on a long weekend getaway! Thanks David!

Studio with very comfortable bed, linens, and pillows. Keurig with several K cups provided and also water bottles for the week as well as delicious snacks. Central location with quick access to Charleston and Isle of Palm and other surrounding beaches. Great trip!

Quaint little studio room with just what you need for a weekend trip to Charleston. David was very hospitable and quick to respond to my messages throughout our stay. I’ll definitely remember this property for the next time I’m looking to stay in Charleston.

Hickory Shadows was clean, tidy and comfortable. Nice touches like bottled water, ice cubes in freezer, coffee, tea, chocolates, etc. Host was great. Good communication. Would stay here again.
My only complaint is that the bathroom was very small. No elbow room at all.

David was an excellent host! I had a very late arrival and he left the light on for me and provided very clear and easy instructions for how to get into the space. There was a personalized welcome letter (& chocolates!) with anecdotes about the space, places to visit, and general info on the area which was super helpful. In the mornings I would go to the beach to watch the sunrise and they had beach towels and chairs available to use. It is close to both the beach and Charleston, and was perfect for my trip where I was out all day and needed somewhere clean and quiet to relax at the end of the day. Don’t hesitate to book this property for your next trip to Mt Pleasant!

This property was the perfect location for our charleston get away. During our week stay we were able to visit more than what we had planned, downtown charleston, Sullivans, IOP, folly beach and west Ashley. Everything was within a 45 minute drive.
Dave was very welcoming and made our stay as comfortable as possible. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable stay at a great location in the Charleston area

Dave’s place was absolutely perfect for me and my fiancé! Bed was super comfortable and everything was clean. Communication was on point and he even checked in multiple times over our stay to make sure everything was good and the temperature in the room was okay for us but we still had our privacy! Dave was super cooperative when we messaged last minute wanting to come a day early. We would definitely stay here again!

The room was the perfect size for two people. It was very clean and we really appreciated the powerful AC, as we stayed during the hottest week of the summer! Lol. Dave was a great host and I definitely recommend his listing.

First time staying at a VRBO and couldn’t be more pleased with our experience! Very clean and had all the extras from beach chairs/towels to coffee pods and bottled water. Host continued to communicate when unit was ready for us to arrive to checking to make sure the temperature in the room was comfortable for us. We were in town for a concert at the Credit One stadium and the location was perfect! We were about a 10 minutes drive to everything we wanted to do which was perfect! Would highly recommend and hope to be back for future visits!!

It was cozy and quaint, but perfect for my spouse and I. It was very close to historic Charleston and Sullivan's Island. The host, Dave was great at making sure we didn't have any concerns. He was very nice and thoughtful and offered great recommendations for the area.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay. Cozy room, great neighborhood, and awesome location. Dave was very easy to communicate with. We appreciated his recommendations. Off street parking for a mid-size vehicle is another plus. Would definitely stay here again.

Owners were very easy to work with. They were very accommodating. We stayed for 6 nights which would be a lot because it is little but our adult kids live around the corner, so we just slept there. It's hellpful if you like dogs they have 2 .The location is perfect, closed to Sullivan's Island, Charleston, Shems Creek and so much more. We will return.

This is a cute and comfortable place. We were there for baseball at the Shipyard park, and this was a good central location. Would recommend for a short stay. Be aware that it is small and not a lot of room in the bathroom if you are a larger person. This isn't a complaint and it was fine for us, just a good-to-know. The kitchen area was great and well stocked with a few glasses, plates, coffee, etc. The owners are on-site in the main part of the house, but they were very quiet and respectful. They were also responsive and helpful.
